Two in a Row!
- Jimmy Clausen’s two second-half touchdown drives trumped Jay Cutler’s three first-half field-goal drives Saturday night.
Chicago’s backup quarterback threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Joshua Bellamy to give the Bears the lead midway through the third quarter, then took advantage of a Colts turnover to lead the Bears to another TD and a 23-11 preseason victory.
First-year coach John Fox has won his first two preseason games, though this was hardly a beauty.
Neither was our first wife - hey-oh!

Our second string is better than their second string.
Da Bears is like the mighty locomotive. Choo Choo Choo.
The year the lions went 0-16, they were 4-0 in the preseason.
The Bears #1 draft pick WR won't be catching anything but a cold this year. Forget it.
Don't start getting overly confident on the Bears.
Both wins came after the 1st string offense had already been pulled from the game and the 2nd and 3rd string offense was going against the 2nd and 3rd string defense of their opponents.
It does appear, however, that a Vic Fangio led defensive scheme may be able to hold it's own this season. We'll know more about that on week 1 vs the Packers.
World Series for Cubs. Super bowl for Bears.
Beatrice---another PBR and Kesslers over here.
Daddy's thirsty.....And delusional.
Yawn, its just the Bears. They'll go nowhere as usual.
Nice, but no expects the mighty Bears to even be a 500 ball club with this being Cutler's last season. I bet the Bears will be looking at the free agent market for a quarterback once the team cuts are finished in a few weeks.
Let's not forget... Clausen is playing against the 3rd and 4th team scrubs.

Right after the Cubs went up 3-2 games on the Marlins in 2003 all the Cubs fans were talking about which AL team they wanted the Cubs to play in the world series. We all know what happened next. Don't count your chickens before they hatch.
It don't matter how the Bears end up. They always suck when draft time comes.
Remember- Clausen is playing the second/third string. Cutler did show some fast feet scrambling and showed some heart with a head first dive attempt into the end zone. Clausen is a solid back up. Hopefully both can flourish in Fox's scheme. Go Bears!

There's still plenty of time left in the season for the Cubs to choke. After all this is the Cubs we're talking about. Winning simply isn't in their DNA.

Steve Bartman for President!
The Bears owners already know they don't have to spend any money on the team because they always sell out!
They gave the fans a big "Fuck You" by keeping that POS Cutler!
Just do what you always do, drink so much you don't even realize there's a game going on.

Doubt that this is Cutler's last year. $16M of 2016 is guaranteed. Big cap hit to just cut him.
Unless Clausen is magic, Cutler will still be around.
The reason the Bears signed Cutler to that big contract was the fact that there are/were no good free agent QB out there at a reasonable price. Anyone good is signed and bagged.
hey ssc go green bay the pack will be back
The Bears are trapped in part with the draft decisions made the last 5-10 years. Those players are the ones that make a team and the Bears drafting skills during that time were not that great. The undrafted free agents and cast offs from other teams are rarely going to be the stars. They can fill in some gaps here and there, but are not usually going to be 1st string material.
It appears to me that right now the Bears offense has an adequate amount of first string talent, but the defense is mostly 2nd and 3rd stringers.
Cutler's numbers were better than Luck's.
