Didn't this guy have his own police radio call sign? Car 1 was the mayor. Wasn't Car 2 Burke? And Car 3 was the Supernintendo. And he's looking at hats while screwing taxpayers to the tune of nearly $600 million.

Yep that's right 15 years ago we had more people in the labor force and more people working than today. Nevertheless, while the number of people working in Chicago hasn't really increased in 15 years spending has.
Not to mention that we had more people working 15 years ago and today wages have gone down as the jobs today are bartenders and waitresses instead of higher paying manufacturing living wage jobs.
Moving jobs from the suburbs by offering corporations makes the Chicago job numbers look cool in the labor reports from the BLS. To the casual observer they think there's opportunity here. However moving jobs is MOVING JOBS NOT CREATING JOBS.

Barrys unemployment numbers are a joke as well. The suburban Metra station parking lots are bareley half occupied with parked cars of commuters traveling downtown for work. Ten years ago if you didn't have a spot by 0900 you were SOL. Now 2000 spots available in one Tinley Park lot alone at 1000 hrs. Workforce participation is at a all time low. OT: Rahm was just on WTTW 11, Chicago Tonight. He was interviewed for about 25 minutes. The word "casino" never came up.
Before his re-election he appeared several times on CT saying the casino profits would be dedicated completely to the police/fire pension. The casino would "solve" all the financial problems. He also said increasing property taxes would be the absolute last thing he would do.
What happened to the casino???

During council meetings a couple of hours a month is spent in a very crowded high media profile room. And for all his perks and all his bullshit law firm money. 1 of his former butlers is assigned to mass transit and had uncle Eddie call and put him on days working the radio room. That wasn't good or easy enough so the pansy hit the medical and then was seen attending golf outings. I guess Eddie taught him well. Hopefully this cry baby will soon be launched, but I'm guessing Skokal will be promoted to meritorious Sgt!
