- A 22-year-old man was charged Monday with murder in the execution-style shooting of 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee last November and the murder of a 19-year-old woman killed weeks earlier in the same ongoing South Side gang conflict.
Dwright Boone-Doty, who authorities say pulled the trigger on Tyshawn, was charged with first-degree murder in the boy’s death and the fatal shooting of Brianna Jenkins on Oct. 18, according to Sally Daly, a spokeswoman for Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez.
Police have said that Tyshawn was targeted in early November because of his father's gang ties and a recent series of shootings between two rival gangs in the Auburn Gresham community.
Sure, execute a child because of an on-going gang feud.

What is not mentioned, is that not counting the shooting, the accused was turning his life around and preparing to start collage in the spring semester. He was going to study astrophysics. He might have become Chicago's first astronaut.
I'm sure the ACLU, U of C, and Northwestern will be attempting to help this guy out. "The police harassed him and it made him do it." Or "He's a product of his culture and its the republican's policy that is to blame." Just when I think of being fetal I say f*** these jag offs they need to be tamed whether it's worth my job. According to the Trib, this guy had just served LESS THAN HALF OF HIS SENTENCE and WAS OUT ON PAROLE ONLY TWO MONTHS before he committed these slayings. From the story:
"He had been paroled from the Illinois Department of Corrections on a drug case after serving about two years on a five-year sentence. Jenkins was killed about two months after Boone-Doty was paroled and Tyshawn was killed three weeks after Jenkins."

So instead of correcting his behavior in jail, he is out on the street executing 9 year olds. That community owes that kid. You police bang your heads against the wall dealing with the same people in one carnation or another but there is more often than not that common thread of so called non-violent drug offenses that started poor Dwight on his spiral into crime. I miss the old days too when a case like this was solved, arrests were announced and the cops who participated were on the TV. Maybe I missed it yesterday but the old news conferences were a good idea. I always liked Di Leonardi or Wodnicki in his distinct Chicago venacular explaining what happened to us watching that lead to arrests and later Joe McCarthy too. Oh, did I mention cleared by arrests were in the range of 75% then and not 25% now? Ah, but Chicgo was a different place then.

When/where is the protest march? Will mr Reccord be seen staring down the leaders of the gangs who ordered this execution? Will there be a demand for justice? Will community members be in the hallways of 26/Ca to taunt these 3 assholes? Will Pfleger, Jessee, et al be in front of the cameras demanding an end to black on black violence? How about the black politicians? Will they put this headline on their commercials and tout how they will address black on black crime? Talk about the epidemic of black on black violence and use this as a major talking point??

This officer's retrial is coming up soon and now a judge is saying he's gonna have to testify at the other cop's trial before his own trial. Prosecutors say they won't use his words against him. Ha. I look at John and just laugh, they look at the exempts he surrounds himself with! just another reason to laugh and laugh hard! respect john is "earned not granted" when you and you gold key club lost respect it is hard to restire and the way you railroad police you should resign get your pension it is the best thing you can do!
