Remember, Police Are the Problem
- Two 16-year-old boys have been charged with killing another 16-year-old boy in the Austin neighborhood in what was the 99th homicide of 2016, according to authorities.
Tiawyan McDade killed Dijuan Williams near Huron Street and Lorel Avenue in the city's Austin neighborhood, according to prosecutors. McDade was ordered held Thursday in lieu of $1 million bail.
He and another boy, a 16-year-old charged as a juvenile who authorities did not name, are accused of approaching Williams and asking about a gang affiliation before McDade shot Williams at the other juvenile's direction.
The shooting happened on Feb. 24 about 6:15 p.m. It was the 99th homicide this year in Chicago.
This was a properly purchased and carried weapon, right? Everyone involved had Concealed Carry licenses and had passed a background check and the state-mandated courses? And surely no one of color was involved?

Anybody see the article where the 'community" is demanding more police presence in Austin along that safe passage route? But i thought these same people were demanding the police get de funded and we are the cause of all their problems, and now since the aclu and the democratic machine handed the city to the criminals they need the police? Please make up your minds
I guess there are not going to be any innocents in the neighborhoods. They all better pick a gang and strap up, because the ACLU does not want the police to keep the lid on anymore.
So the police are violent, wild, aggressive, and out of control. The police need to be checked, and held accountable for their actions.
If that were true, and police were bloodthirsty monsters just looking for a reason to beat and hurt people.......
Wouldn't neighborhoods like Edison Park, Garfield Ridge, and Mount Greenwood be a constant shit-show, with off duty coppers searching to seek and destroy?

We need to listen to the truth. The War on Poverty is lost. We fought the war for over Fifty Years. The war was fought at great expense in dollars and the lives of the poor minorities. We must realize we cannot win this war.
I recommend we pull back to the Cook County Line, and fortify the new border. Let the fine people of Chicago Land determine their own fate. We should not impose our culture's mores on the oppressed population of Chicago and Cook County.

Speaking of Concealed Carry, Chicago will be the only municipality on the face of the planet who's crime and death rate ROSE after concealed carry was initiated. Of course the ACLU is really responsible for it, But hey, the Progressive Democrats should be happy about those statistics anyway. They can spin them.
I would just like 2 say what a great job the 015h District coppers did after heaing a flash message sent and realizing they just observed 2 male blacks matching the description dump a garbage bag in a trash can. The offenders had fled the alley. They returned and recovered the handgun used in the homicide from the same trash can. Also great job by Sgt Fowler and his ninjas on the arrest of both of the offenders

Maybe Chicago could adopt the "Philly Plan". They're teaching the citizens combat medical response to gunshot victims. Maybe the murder rate might not hit 700 if this is adopted.
