Deadliest July in a Decade
- Trinyce L. Sanders-Wilson was a member of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church for more than 20 years. She was in the choir and worked with the children at the West Side church.
As she left Sunday services and crossed the street to her car over the weekend, her estranged husband walked up and shot her dead, authorities said. Then he killed himself.
Sanders-Wilson was among the last of the 65 people killed in Chicago in July, a toll that pushed the number of homicides in the city this year to nearly 400. The total for all of last year was 490.
HeyJackass.com has the city at 402, but that includes six that died in police related shootings. July averaged just over two-a-day killed, and the sweltering days of August are upon us. Gotta get that killing in before school starts.

The total is actually lower than I feared that it would be.
They always forget that September sees a ton of shootings. A lot of times in my experience Sept can have more shootings that August. The first few weeks they all get back in school together and rekindle a lot of the beefs and are able to see each other up close and not able to do much.. Once school gets out it gets nuts and you see shootings. Summer just seperates these animals, once they get forced to be back together they start killing each other. I see a pretty big September with numbers, more than August. You heard it here first
We are on our way to destroying the average of over the last 5 years which is about 500 homicides a year. We are on pace to 700 homicides this year and Special Ed is on the News telling everyone "we are doing good we had less homicides in July then we did in June" I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The deadliest July in 10 years and Special Ed is bragging about our July numbers

ot.....Apparently Chief of Patrol WALLER was in 005 the other day and asked a Sgt how moral was????? The Sgt told him the truth....moral is terrible, the worst he's ever seen in 20 + years, an absolute joke !! Told him that part of the reason is "they are stripping people left and right", no brass is standing up for the police officers. WALLER didn't like to hear that and walked out. I'm guessing he probably usually ask the "yes" men who want to climb the ladder.....they'll give him a watered down version of reality, if they even do that.

Criminals used to at least have the decency to run away from us, not anymore.....the savages now are getting way too comfortable killing and it's not gonna be long before they will want to shoot it out with us daily....

Not likely. The policies of this tyrant are directly responsible. Crime is down everywhere else in major cities. He is clueless and has no idea what he is doing to the quality of life in this major city. Consults with his overpaid, never worked on the street without someone holding their hand, cheating, politically connected, with scammed degrees from not certified universities and in some cases GED graduates only bosses. They come up with these great ideas.

The national cable news networks all display Chicago's monthly murder totals on the bottom ticker, your president and his not so honest nominee, as a "chicagoan" never mention law and order not even for the folks they pander to.

Deadliest by design and going to get much worse. You know cause police in Chicago shot 2,100 people this year alone. Police are the problem. Need to close police stations to prevent all the blm shootings. That will fix it. Also need more free food, free rent, free phones, free healthcare, free Internet, free childcare, free schools and donated cars.

It is a sad day for Chicagoans when the leaders fail to tell criminals to quit pointing guns at the police , do not resist arrest , wait until you have a job , get married before you have children , quit selling drugs , taking drugs
