So an aldercreature wants 500 (or more) oppressors to come in and keep the "community" down?

Start hiring by utilizing Aldermanic Discretionary Funds first, stop over spending on failed programs, forego those weekly pop up parades, no more storefront church exemptions and start collecting fines from the ANOV's from the deadbeats by garnishing entitlement payments like the IRS and SSA does to fraudsters.
Instead of raising our taxes again why not just deduct a 10% fee from those that are driving the crime rates up. Simply take 10% off the top of the trillion dollars that obama has raised entitlements to a year. With all the welfare fraud going on it won't even make them blink.

In an honest effort to provide equality in policing the DOJ should recommend that each Police District have and provide the same number of officers to protecting their respective communities. No District should have an exorbitant number of officers above another. Thus ensuring one group or neighborhood is not "over policed". The volume of crime should no longer dictate policing strategies in this new world of absolute fairness. Intelligence based policing is racist based policing as recent DOJ remarks have indicated. No longer will we criminal profile or use proactive policing strategies. This too is now racist policing. Forget your "Spidey" sense when you think a subject has a gun based upon his stance or bulge in his back. Monday morning Quarterbacking police involved shootings is now the favorite pastime of the politicians and media, for the police officer is now always wrong until otherwise proved and Is always racist regardless of heritage. More and more kids and working police will be suspended and fired in the "Salem Witch Hunt" of today. Today's Police Officer is the new Boogie man or bad Guy, burned at the stake for practicing his craft. No longer can a police officer trying to do his best to protect and serve make a mistake, having been caught up in the moment. Some how the media believes the stuff they see on TV. Shoot to wound? Maybe we just want to go home at the end of the day to see our family, to hug our kids one more time. Sure We as a Department, made a mistake. We walked away from our partnership with the community. Bringing in outsiders only made it worse. they have no connection to the City and its communities. This further built a wall between us and the community we served but that wasn't the decision of the Department, that was decided by the Alderman and the Mayors. The media is complicit in the demonization of police officers. Their need to fill the 24 hour news cycle requires a story when there isn't one. Michael Brown was a bad dude. he attacked a store owner as he stole items. He attacked a police officer and tried to disarm him. This type of thing plays out all over the country. No police officer wakes up and says "well I'm gonna Kill someone today" . Its a split second life or death decision that has to be made. 99% of the time its justified. 100% of the time it was the right decision made by that individual at that time, to ensure that officer goes home to Hug their family one more time. All the events that led up to that incident and brought that officer to that moment in time are almost always the result of someone else doing something wrong. Look at the Media, full of drunks and drug users yet all are forgiven but never a poor guy trying to protect and serve. Careers and the lives of entire families ruined over a split second decision. The lives of men and women who swore to protect and serve. With all of this said, most in law enforcement will go on and continue to protect the innocent from those who pillage and plunder because most of us got into it a long time ago to make a positive difference in peoples lives.
Cut alder creatures by 75% , use money for police officers .
