Cops Attacked at Crash Scene - VIDEO
Just a fender bender, and three cops get attacked:
- Three Chicago police officers were injured, one seriously, in an incident on Chicago's West Side Wednesday morning, according to police.
Around 10 a.m., officers in the 15th District were on patrol when they came across a traffic accident near the intersection of South Cicero Avenue and West Roosevelt Road, authorities said.
They approached the crash to see if anyone was injured and a male subject became combative and struck an officer, according to police.
Two other officers were injured while putting the offender in custody, officials said.
There's video at the link. This asshole was probably high as a kite, but if he had been justifiably shot after manhandling and body-slamming the one copper, you can bet we'd be hearing about it for weeks, because there's no such thing as "personal responsibility" in Austin.

Clarification needed here. The Cook County Sheriff's Police (brown uniforms) does not run two person cars.
Court Services however does for their Civil Warrant Section. (Black or blue uniforms). Irregardless and most importantly, aid should have been rendered!

Marked cars are symbolic of Police Officers, and should not be used by any other division within Darts administration. And as such only operated by Police Officers-not Court Services deputies. Court Services does not not need brand new fully equipped marked cars. They aren't permitted to do traffic stops so why the marked car?

No assistance was offered by the county officers in uniform and a marked car. The 2 female county officers then left the scene. Unfuckingbelievable!! I sure hope that the same treatment that the county officer in the McDonald case got is what these 2 pieces of shit get. They should be stripped immediately. While I understand her reluctance to shoot the fucking animal I truly wish she did. Maybe then she could've prevented herself from being hospitalized for significant head injuries inflicted on her by said animal. We don't have to be punching bags etc. for these fucking mutts.
If you're in a deadly force situation then use deadly force and let the chips fall where they may with the "false narrative" crowd.
If these officers were wearing body cameras, I think the department should release this particular footage so that civilians can see exactly what these men and women are called upon to face every day. While the local liberal press would no doubt ignore the footage, national media would pick-it up. Not to second guess the officers involved in this incident, but I willing to bet most civilians who this footage would be thinking to themselves, "Gee, I would have shot the guy!"
As a sheriff from court services who spent 17 years on the street, first doing evictions then warrants. I have suffered many bumps and bruises along the way assisting cpd to the best of my abilities. When I pulled assholes off cops I never once was asked are you the real deal or just some flunky court services wanna be. I was always appreciated.if you want to seek discipline on the two officers call the radio room and find out who they are. They don't need to be out there if they are not willing to help. Maybe the 2 females in the county squad were just some jail guards on wheels checking ankle braclets. I came from the county and they have it all divided Jail, courts, and police. I doubt they were police because they always back us in 15.

Why does the media run stories suggesting that this officer would have been justified shooting an unarmed person high on PCP, but another officer was not justified in shooting a person who was armed with a knife and high on PCP?
@137am....I was with the county for 14 years before CPD, and I can tell you id rather have the EM or fugitive guys backing me up rather than our own who have come out of the academy in the last 10 years. And the brown clowns wouldn't back you up because they do everything possible to avoid the ghetto.

Agree with you 100%, these drug crazed animals have to be put down, look at the van dyke scene a drug crazed thug high on pcp, he will be exonerated after going through the wringer, Eddie and the rest let this happen by not standing up for police,and the ballerina holding the tape should eb charged with with holding evidence! Hope the officer is OK, very sad testament to policing, i am retired but promise you this if i ever see a thug or anyone fighting a blue brother/sister I will be in the mix,and if the animal needs to be put down before he maims or kills an officer to hell he/she will go!!
