More Ambushes

  • A St. Louis police sergeant was shot in the face near Hampton and Pernod avenues around 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Police said he was shot twice, was conscious, was in serious condition but was expected to live.
  • A veteran San Antonio police in the in the Special Victims Unit shot and killed before noon Sunday while performing a routine traffic stop near police headquarters downtown, officials said, prompting a citywide search for the gunman.

SAPD Chief William McManus said the shooting occurred on the south side of SAPD headquarters, at 11:45 a.m. where the officer, identified as Detective Benjamin Marconi, 50, was issuing a traffic citation. As he did so, a black vehicle pulled up behind the officer's unit.

The suspect got out of the car, walked up to the passenger window and fired one round into the patrol car, hitting Marconi in the head, McManus said. He said the suspect reached in and fired again, hitting Marconi a second time.
Head on a swivel Officers.

Do you think the soros money has gone from inciting riots that haven't burned cities to enabling dope fiends to shoot cops?

It might be time to go back to 2 man units on all watches again.
At least that way while one partner is writing a ticket or report the other one can continue to observe their surroundings.

It's also high time CPD gets rid of the silly requirement to wear those stupid neon reflective vests for most types of OT initiatives. It clearly just makes us even more of a bright target.

God bless you RIP. Thank god for Trump. Can you imagine Hilary in the White House continuing with Obama's anti police platform? 60 more days of terrible leadership. Will the CPD brass stop pushing the stats and tell us to go into self preservation mode and limit our visibility?

Good luck trying to get rid of those reflective vests. We have a Superintendent that could give 2 shits about your well being. The only thing this "dick" has done is strip coppers and promote his black girlfriends. Ball less wonder!

4 total shot this weekend:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/four-police-officers-shot-us-cities-103450237.html

Praying for murdered and also fro recovery of the others very sad times for law enforcement then you have eddie meeting with the black lies murder punks and allowing them to set up a curriculum to teach officers about legitimacy of their urban terrorist groups. This is the same group that marched and yelled "fry them like pigs in a blanket" "what do we want dead cops now!"

I sit here with tears in my eyes and total outrage at the elected so called leaders and eddie here in Chicago you and the rest of the gold star clout boys and girls need to turn in that star immediately ultimate failures.

Then you have rahms brother ari meeting with trump yesterday, hope this is not like the bill clinton loretta lynch plane meeting to change his mind about this totally gone to shit city. If trump does not keep his promise and remove all the illegal criminals here and "drain the swamp" he will go down as the same as a democrat liar.
But the good news trump is a master at the "art of the deal" hope he just used rahms brother and does not give the criminals in charge here any room to escape and continue the lawlessness perpetuated upon the police and taxpayers of Chicago!

I read somewhere "this all started with Fergeson" and that officer was innocent!
Talk about a media narrative!
NBC editing Geo.Zimmerman's call (you know the "white" guy who was Hispanic) with "a black kid" but not playing the 911 dispatcher's "can you describe the person?"

The cop killer always looks like he's going to church.

The officer (or Trump) always looks mad, and for a time, Obama had a halo!

Unreal!

This shit makes me sick.

And I blame Obama, the Racist-In-Chief, as crap like this did not happen before that fucker took office. Yes, Police died in the line of duty from shootings but NOT Targeted Assassinations, no fucking way.

But that jagoff opened the door, gave a wink and a nod to his homies from day one, with first dropping all charges against the New Black Panthers, and then his, 'The Police Acted Stupidly' comment, to his, 'If I had a son...' bullshit regarding druggie thug Trayvon Martin. It was like he was saying, 'You've all been wronged, none of it is your fault, so don't worry the FedGov has your backs.

So I can hardly wait for January 20th and the new Trump administration. Neither President Trump or his new U.S. Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, will stand for this bullshit -- period!

A War on Police IS a War on Society. So please, Guys and Gals, stay safe out there. WE need you and WE have your backs.

ps: God help any asshole local politician (Hi Tiny Dancer!), or lowlife democrat in congress like NY Senator Chuck Schumer, that tries to get in the way of reining these animals in.

Fox breaking news now "war on police in America" 4 shot in 24 hours wtf is happening? Maybe instead of the pandering to the urban terrorist type organizations that disrupted people's lives constantly maybe law and order needs to be stressed. For example in Chicago Eddie needs to tell the black lies matter crew no meetings to instruct police how to act, simply strongly say " obey the law" no meetings lock them up.

As for street coppers pay attention always stop incessant texting and not looking around. Crack that window, turn radio down listening to sounds of savagery raging. No more "I'll tell you if I need help squad" observe how most suburban coppers work traffic stops back up right there 2 coppers minimum. If your available drive by checking on other coppers on calls, you may be the 1 needing help someday. I recently retired (joyous day) God willing you will also get that opportunity, but when I notice brothers sisters in Blue say on vehicle stop I park a small distance and observe if anything happens they are still my "family" I will do whatever it takes to help becaus blue lives matter forever!

#1 person in the world is not anyone but you, your family needs you healthy and sane if you fall the entire team is in serious trouble. Make sure you see a doctor, watch blood pressure, have complete blood work, ask for a stress test with contrast and a 3D echocardiogram right after your off treadmill, recently I had this done this test is very revealing, I needed a slight change in lifestyle but will be ok. Make sure you join a gym, stop smoking or spitting that immature chew, if you need personal training at gym it is money well spent. Bring your lunch don't trust what some will do in preparing your food, if you bring your own you can eat healthy!

Lastly with thanksgiving approaching just want to say May God place a special blessing over police everywhere and also to the "spirits of the air" SCC staff for all you do the tireless hours spent your the best thank you God bless the entire staff of thousands! The mystery is not who is Second City Cop, the intriguing answer is it is a collective of all of us with the great "OZ" at the top!

What really sucks is that the policians and SJW leaders don't care how many blue lives get lost or ruined as a result of their incompetence and pandering to the "community", they'll only give a damn when it affects them directly, when THEY start getting attacked by these animals. THEN they'll be screaming for tough law and order.

And it goes without saying, of course, that when said day arrives, they'll take no blame for the situation themselves. They'll be happy to heap blame on the cops whose hands they've tied, though.

Sickening:(

Stay safe out there, you guys.

Any civilians who are armed, trained, and legal to carry should do so at all times. If you see a cop in trouble you will then be able to help, like the civilian who killed the asshat who was beating the shit out of the cop in Florida last week. It's getting crazy out there and the good guys need all the help they can get.

This excellent list of suggestions from a retired federal agent friend that he posted in a comment on the CopTalk thread at GlockTalk.

http://www.glocktalk.com/threads/understanding-the-kill-zone.1640809/

The knee-jerk reaction to the ambush slayings of police officers is that we need two officers per patrol vehicle. One need only look at NYPD history to see that officers are gunned down in pairs as easily as when they're alone. You must understand what a kill zone is. You may put four officers in a patrol vehicle but they're sharing one kill zone. The outcome will be the same: one nut with an AR-15 or equivalent can just as easily take out everyone in that vehicle.

Let me say up front that I was a federal agent and senior firearms instructor where I got to spend thousands of hours of training time with the major police departments in the NY, NJ and PA areas. I won't even count my service as a military policeman patrolling the city of Nha trang, in Vietnam, during a war.

Every city, no matter how big or small, has those little out-of-the-way places where a patrolman can pull off, have a cigarette, make a few personal phone calls, do some paperwork or even catch some Z's. We're creatures of habit. The creatures of the night also know where those hideouts are located because some can be seen from highways and side streets.

Following are my suggestions: don't use the same "rest place" twice. Keep your vehicle moving as much as possible. If you're paired with another officer, strongly consider separating when on a static post. If my partner is across the street, a gunman now has two kill zones that he must attack. This might discourage him. But, the officer not under direct attack is in a far better position to return effective fire. You share the same space, you share the same fate.

That police management has failed to grasp the significance of managing kill zones is evident when you view the heavy police presence at transportation hubs in New York City. The officers are standing around in tight groups instead of separating. Even a beginner can roll a bowling ball and knock down all ten pins. Put each pin on a separate alley and you may only knock down one pin per roll of the ball.

Stay safe, G-d bless, and thanks to each of you who serve.

Sanibel Island is a lovely little place where you

night-time sky like you've never seen it.

Spent a week there a couple years ago.
It was lovely... WTH happened?
Or is it another episode of

Remember how 10-4/10-99 got started...

Newbies discard previous notions of humanity -- at least far enough to realize that even the fifty-cent-askers out there have got instant-sensing radar with at least 100-foot radius that operates on passers-by -- who be thick, who not...

...and continue building on that. This not your grandma's Oldsmobile. Nosir.

Piece of shit that shot the san antonio cop was just on tv in custody being walked into holding. The reason he gave for shooting a cop is that he had been going through a rough custody battle with his ex. I hope Texas judge says he's going to the chair, because the judge has been having a bad bout of Diarrhea. About as inane as this idiots reasoning
