Still Trying for 800

  • At least 22 people have been shot — eight of them fatally — across the city since Friday afternoon, according to Chicago Police.

Most recently, at least five people were shot and four of them were killed Saturday afternoon in the Fernwood neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The shooting happened at 12:39 p.m. in the 100 block of West 105th Street, according to Chicago Police. Four of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene while the fifth was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, Chicago Fire Department officials said. Additionally, a child was transported from the scene to Roseland Community Hospital, although it was not immediately clear whether the child had been shot. Further details, including the victims’ ages and genders, were not immediately available.
To hear the media tell it, no one in the neighborhood heard a thing until someone noticed two dead people on the lawn and police discovered two more dead in the house. HeyJackass.com puts the total at 769 with two weeks to go.

This doubles the totals from the last two years, so Special Ed's reign of blood continues to expand. Not that Special Ed was in town to see it - seems almost ten members of the command staff spent the latter part of the week in New York City attempting to learn advanced policing techniques.

They are New York learning how to be the police because they were never the police here in Chicago. Now they are too embarrassed to ask anyone in Chicago how to police so they go to the East Coast to learn what any decent copper with five years on working a shit District knows. Remember people earned not given.

Better yet, when does Rahm leave Office? And did y'all catch the little pension thief him-self, Richie Daley, being given a Humanitarin Award from Preckwinkle cause it was Christmas gifts 'for the children.' He's such a stud-more. Advanced Policing Techniques defined as:

"How in the fuck are we gonna get these Coppers
to give up on protecting themselves from us
and generate some magical quota-based activity
to make it look like "something" is being done
to stem the flow of blood, shit, brain-matter
and skull fragments into the gutters?"

Heh...
"Blue-Shirts Are Winning"

Rahm Emanuel must surely know by know
that his decision to "stick it in the Cops ear"
by declaring war on The Police and their families,
was beyond foolish, ill-informed and misdirected.

Just curious...
Where are all the joyful haters now?

WTF do they think is going to happen to
this city, this department and to the very
ideal of public safety when they give over
control of CPD to the perpetual grievants
and their progressive allies?

This bloody mess precipitated by a craven little
malignant manling who opted to keep himself
undeservedly ensconced in the seat of power.

Now...
If only someone within Rahm's inner circle
or a member of local media were to have the
joy and excitement of a close encounter with
some of these urban death cultists.

Police Like You Have No Friends.

This steady diet of bland, flavorless,
non-sexy, unexciting, strictly-by-the-numbers
Policing is driving all the right people crazy.

Put hands on NO MAN unless it's to protect
yourselves and each other.

The "Community" is sick and tired of
The Police being in their neighborhoods.

Familiarity has bred contempt?
OK M/Fers...
Let's see how absence TRULY makes the heart grow fonder.

Rahm can disband CPD and turn it into the
For Us, By Us - Cocked Ballcap Police
first thing in the morning as hot, copper-
jacketed lead will still fly unabated.

"You fucking Cops got a lotta nerve
laying back and enjoying this shit
and dreaming about retirement instead
of stopping and putting hands on these guys!"

Hah... Fuck you...
You M/Fers want to put Policemen in prison
for even looking at these hyper-violent,
death-loving m/fers sideways.

Let alone actively engaging them
when they break the law.

"In my 28 year as a policeman, i've
never been so concerned..."

You're boxing WAAAAYYY
over your intellectual and leadership
weight class, fella.

And a pissant like Rahm draws funny pictures on your
rump and steals all the quarters out of your change jar
at the same time.

A damn shame when a man isn't aware enough to realize
HE'S sitting in the sucker seat at the card table.

I've known some command staff members in the past. Most of them had more time in schools like Quantico or Northwestern than they had pushing a beat car. Of course they looked down their noses at us, we who worked a beat car for our entire careers. In the more distant past we at least had some people in command who had, along with clout, brains and organizational knowledge. Nowadays it's the triple "meritorious" promotees trying and failing to run the show. Sad.

Let them kill each other off. Isn't this obvious what is wanted in Chicongo by the politicians? Doesn't that make sense?
A shrinking police department, jails being destroyed, judges setting shooters loose in the hoods, shrinking welfare rolls so there is more money to line the pockets of politicians.
Isn't it pretty well established the democrats promise everything and deliver nothing over the past 100 years? But they keep getting voted in. So their constituents are either very stupid (no doubt) or expendable.
Democrats think they'll always rule there, they don't need the "headaches" brought on by diversity. So, let them kill each other off and blame it on the police and republicans.

Could be a couple more on the "Party Bus"

http://wgntv.com/2016/12/18/three-men-injured-in-party-bus-shooting-on-chicagos-north-side/

A 22-year-old man was shot in the head and taken in critical condition to Illinois Masonic Medical Center. A 33-year-old man was shot in the chest. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. A third man, 31, suffered a gunshot wound to his left hand. He was taken in good condition to Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Police say that third man may be a suspect in the shooting.

No arrests have been made.

No arrests head shot, chest shot would be point blank range, these people cannot even conduct themselves having fun "they ruin everything!" Bet the offender identification process is quick! Ban party buses rahm, keep holding the heads high elected as the blood is everywhere! Trump says he is going to do something "big league" to stop this shit in chiraq, funny how rahm is at the table with other presidents chief of staffs like the goofy failure he is! How can Trump even meet with this idiot who cannot control the violence? But then again he met with mitt Romney and Romney thought he was getting the secretary of state job, the "art of the deal" read the book Trump is superior in intelligence to mitt the ballerina and the rest! Using rahm to babble to him, bet rahm was scared talking with a "real man" not some sissy who dances the ballet!

What next will they be on the "party train?" All aboard to the animals shooting each other, not racism realism if you do anything like this your actually less than an animal but definitely sub-human!

Did the Special Ed AllStars get to Ride-A-Long with NYPD's new "Gun Violence Supression Division"? The 200 man Div. recently did a sweep in (no joke) Brownsville, a Brooklyn neighborhood. They call it precision policing.
More likely Special Ed's Posse sat around "talking it out" rather than engaging in a realtime police strategy.

Special Ed knows by now he's a goner. So he's soaking up all the freebies he can.
An 800 body count (700 by firearm) certainly is possible with the promised Tommy Skillet weather warm up coming this weekend.

Funny thing about New York City, and you've heard this from me before. Its that McCarthy, Timoney and others have come out of New York City with their magic pony show, and its never worked as advertised.

Why? Because the New York City stuff was due to Bratton and the no-holds-barred accountability programs he brought with originally from Boston. In Boston he was under Evans (one of the guys now hired to advise or study Chicago).

My point is that if you want results for a big city police department, there are only two guys who have proven results the past 40 years. Bratton (in NYC and then LA) and Evans. No such results from any of their underlings, from any of the Chicago political jackasses, or whatever.

My only problem with Bratton is that he's sort of liberal for law enforcement. But overall, if they want input on how its done, talke to Bratton and Evans. Of course, first thing they'd tell Johnson and Granny Clampett is that they should resign or be fired!

Anonymous Sick and Tired of it all said...

Let's face the unpleasant truth. Clearly, if the Establishment wanted things to change, then laws and directives would be different. Things would be more in favor of law enforcement. So, the status quo must be what the Establishment wants or can tolerate. Because who are the eight hundred or so murdered this year and the 4000 shot? To the Establishment, these are not anyone of consequence. These are just poor people living in poor neighborhoods. Cold-blooded? Yes. But the Establishment seems to think that these are not human beings who are being slaughtered and maimed. Remember, it is Godless socialists who see people as Surplus population and not as individual human beings with inherent rights.

The Community where these atrocities are occurring doesn't seem to mind either. If they did, then things would be different with regards to interactions between community and police. Information concerning offenders would be flowing to police so as to get investigations going and catch the culprits. But the exact opposite is the case. The Community has bought into the Narrative of those who would seek to inflame racial tensions for political purposes with regards to police relations and interactions with the Community. It is to the point where the Community is as suspicious of the police as if we were an occupying Army.

Hence, the only logical conclusion is that the ruling Elite in the form of the Democrat Party Machine simply does not care about the crime statistics, the victims, the slaughtered, the wounded, and Chicago's reputation in spite of all their protestations to the contrary.

I do believe that the politicians would not care if the murder rate was double what it is now. And I also believe that nothing would change if there were three thousand or ten thousand more police officers, because the rules of the game as they stand now are weighted so much against us. And this has created a malaise and a hardened attitude among police officers who are simply in self-preservation mode now so as not to fall prey to a political witch-hunt. A truly sad situation for the poor people of the city of Chicago. But let's be honest. They have a hand in this catastrophe also. They keep voting for the same Crooks. And the community has bought into the narrative that the police are the problem and not the gangs.

So, ladies and gentlemen of the Police Dept, let's continue to let it ride, and document the downward plunge of this City until the situation is so bad that the good people demand change, and vote in politicians and judges who will see that law is enforced and justice will be done.

But that day may never arrive, where the City and County are concerned.

The political establishment has seen fit to Shackle and leashed us that we cannot perform our jobs properly they have introduced all sorts of regulations and laws to the point where we second-guess every Movement we make on the street. Let's face it. We are police officers, we are not lawyers. We are law enforcement. We are Hands-On. We do not have the time or luxury to contemplate every single facet an angle of every single move we make. By the very nature of our job, we cannot be so cerebral and intellectual when we have to deal with uncooperative and violent subjects. But the lawmakers and the media still do not seem to grasp this. Or, as I believe, they are aware but are willingly denying this and being disingenuous.

The men and women of the CPD are an untapped source of energy, of righteous indignation and outrage with the current state of affairs. But we are also wise. We are not Stooges and patsies waiting to take the fall for the next headline.

And so things continue on as they have been going. Sorry about the long postA

This is your concern? You however, are concerned about a retired guy making a blowhard prank style phone call and want him to be convicted? I don't support what he did but why should he be convicted when all of our prisoners are being set free by Dart, Foxx and Preckwinkle? Judges are constantly finding for the defendant as well. They just do not care about us. As in the politicians and the big bosses.

If they cared about us then the stations would be more secured. Put up some barricades around the station. Most federal buildings for example have large lamp posts (but they are dug in very deep with tons of concrete holding it in place) and smaller lamp posts. From the outside they look like some cheap lamp posts that are about three to four feet high. But they are additional barricades.

I remember back when my new station opened and our roll call would be held there and I thought to myself. Gee, if someone wanted to take out 25 to 35 police men then they can shoot at us with a machine gun or drive in a truck with an ied and we are fucking done.

Even though September 11 happened 15 years ago, for the most part, our mentality has not changed.

Get the hardheads some Russian Army winter gun oil --- it's gonna hit -8 tonight.

Of course, the fallback is always to pee on the thing and work the action back and forth. This works for a few minutes.

So when do they start distributing bread made from sawdust and canteen cups of lukewarm pine-needle tea around here?

Not a prospective event -- it's already happened, and will be worsening with Kim Foxxxxx at the wheel.

Four employees at a Home Depot somewhere in the US have been fired for trying to stop some character from walking out with over $1000 worth of tools.

"The crime/punishment paradigm" is not only being being eliminated, it's being reversed -- just like the gals at BLM demand.

(OT) Several times now, coppers in 011 come over the air and say they are behind a stolen car and are waiting for more cars before activating their lights and an 011th district sgt gets on the radio and demands they "STOP FOLLOWING IT". Ehhh whaaat? Stop following it? Should't an attempt at least be made to curb the vehicle and if it drives off, it drives off, but to just stop following it before any attempt to stop it is ludicrous.

The Sgts are trying to protect the officers but some do not listen. Do you really believe that after following a car and suddenly the car drives off that the beat cars will not follow? You say ludicrous, I say stay safe. With a new states attorney, Fox is anxious to hang a officer and make an example. Sad to say, but officers must think twice before engaging the criminal element. The Sgts are doing their job, so listen to them.

OT: Virginia police’s social media policy is ruled unconstitutional

In 2013 the department issued a general order revising the department’s social networking policy that among other things barred the dissemination of anything “that would tend to discredit or reflect unfavorably upon the (department) or any other City of Petersburg Department or its employees.”

Two officers...posted a conversation on Facebook...that was critical of the department’s promotions of some unnamed, younger officers who they believed lacked sufficient experience. The department decided the comments violated the bar against negative comments.

The officers were given oral reprimands and six months’ probation. They later learned that as a result they were ineligible to sit for a promotional examination.

Afterward the two were the subject of several other complaints and department investigations, which they contend were retaliatory.

Can't belive they would kill across a fire station, stop doing silly DUI's by foster and Montrose and focus on real sht on Harlem where there are still good people and businesses.

12/18/2016 12:52:00 PM

Bratton was an egomaniacal clown. Read up on him. He is no visionary, no oracle with all the answers. He took a lot of credit for other people's work. I wish people would stop talking about him as a Messiah. Read about him before you sing his praises.

I used to work security for Home Depot and they didn't want you armed but I hid it well. We stood by the front door checking receipts but would actually see people stealing and they didn't want you to stop these thieves. There reason was if we made a bad stop they could be sued. I lasted about 1 month and quit. A bullshit store

It wouldn't be surprising at all seeing as how
Rahm was outed for fudging Police staffing levels.

How many "death investigations" are being held back
to keep the body count as far under 800 as possible?

Murder/mayhem/street violence on a lay-away plan?

The ol' "Ghoul Tree" no doubt will be brimming
with ornaments this year thanks to Rahm.

As far as 0110 goes...
We look forward to a miraculous increase
in the 0150 count when upright and
productive people start fighting
back with a vengeance.

The word is already out.
Don't hang around for The Police
if you dispatch a goblin in
self-defense.

Shoot.
Scoot.
Lawyer up.
Don't say shit to anybody else.

This IS Chicago after all,
so govern yourselves accordingly.

Got a long way to go to catch up to 1991 Chicken Little, but there's still time.

Chicago Tribune
922 Homicides Made 1991 Year To Forget
January 01, 1992|By William Recktenwald.

The year was less than 90 minutes old when David Banks became the first homicide victim of 1991.

Banks, 27, was riding home from work on the King Drive bus in the wee hours of Jan. 1. Suddenly, another man on board pulled out a handgun and began firing indiscriminately

By the time the bus driver pulled over to the curb near 26th Street, Banks lay dead on the floor, and a second man was wounded. The gunman fled and has not been apprehended.

The slaying of Banks touched off what was to become one of the bloodiest years in Chicago`s history.

Early Tuesday morning, a 17-year-old Englewood youth became the city`s 920th homicide victim when someone opened fire at him in the 4800 block of South Vincennes Avenue.

A bullet struck the youth in the back of the head as he ran from the gunman, and he died instantly, according to Wentworth Violent Crimes Sgt. Dennis Murphy.

``A witness said she heard the two argue, `You sold me some soap for dope,``` Detective Daisey Martin said. ``I guess that he sold some Ivory soap as ready rock (crack cocaine), and the customer came back and killed him.``

That`s the sort of year it was on the streets of Chicago, one senseless killing after another. And for every homicide, there were 16 other shootings, 10 stabbings and 19 attacks with clubs or bats, police records show.

With gang members and drug dealers finding it easier than ever to get their hands on guns-including highly sophisticated automatic models-few expect 1992 to be less violent.

The year that passed into history at midnight Tuesday achieved some notorious distinctions:

262 people under the age of 21 were killed in Chicago in 1991, more than ever before.

Killings with Uzi submachine guns and other automatic weapons became chillingly commonplace.

A record number of gang-related killings occurred, most of them linked to drug trafficking.

August, when 121 people were slain, was the most violent single month in the city`s history.

The homicide rate based on population reached an all-time high-33 murders for every 100,000 residents.

And for only the second time, the number of killings exceeded 900. There were 970 homicides in 1974, but the city had 400,000 more residents then, so the murder rate then was less than it was last year.

In many ways, the year`s first killing was typical of most that would follow. Banks was felled by bullets in a public place. He was young. He was male. He was black.

Seventy percent of last year`s homicides, or 641, were committed with guns. That`s a 64 percent increase in just the past four years. In 1988, LeRoy Martin`s first year as superintendent of police, there were 660 homicides in Chicago, 392 of them committed with firearms.

The 17-year-old`s slaying included another frequent element of murder in Chicago: drugs.

As trafficking in cocaine, including inexpensive but highly addictive crack, has become more widespread, the number of killings has climbed, and the average age of both the slayers and the slain has dropped significantly.
