Ride to Remember
Went off without a hitch - we didn't get word about it until it hit the news or we would have given everyone a heads up:
- An estimated 900 motorcycle riders came out Sunday morning for the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation’s 13th annual Ride to Remember.
Off-duty or retired police officers from the city and suburbs, and their supporters, hopped on bikes and rode from the old Area 4 Police Headquarters on the West Side to the Gold Star Families Memorial along the Lakefront.
It was a great day for a ride.

It was a perfect day for a great cause. And the old shovelhead never disappoints once she warms up.
Good hearted show of support, but it would not hurt to take
some scenic rides thru the heart of the ghettos. 900 cycles
would certainly get their attention. A few armored vehicles
would be nice too. Rolling Thunder.
Leading the pack was Chicago's next Superintendent and very own Pink Angel President "Rough Cookie"...
Rolling Thunder followed by Drum Fire.
For once, the TV news gave the coppers a fair shake.
It was nice to see the "rough cookie" there.

To get their attention you would have to start the ride after the noon hour, as most of them are all sleeping when you roll through.
A couple of side cars with mounted M60's would work for me, if we rode through the ghetto.
Too bad Cline was too busy to get the word out. He must have been counting his paychecks.
A worthy cause and good turnout.
With 900 Rough Cookie bikers, there's 900 more ideas that could solve feral Chicago'scrime (that doesn't exist) before this weekends scheduled slaughter.
Screw enabler Rahm and his pansy-assed ghetto pandering.
We need to organize a1000 loud pipes bike Anti-Rahm Rally to congest the area around City Hall.
I would put that count closer to 1500 motorcycles. Good Weather, Good Ride.
Always remembered. Mike Flisk #6962 EOW 26Nov10. Love ya brother, they don't make coppers like him anymore.
