Swing by the Firehouse

Threats being made over the off-duty CFD Lieutenant cutting short the criminal careers of certain "yutes:"

If you time it right (and pitch in a few bucks) you might get a decent meal out of it. Some of those guys can cook.

Put that Lt. on a city-wide rotation with the
emphasis on random. Can a Judge issue a
general PFA on this guy in light of the circumstances?
We refuse to be hunted and harassed.
I got a feeling that the thin blue line is gonna get a
whole lot thicker.
Get fucking ICE involved. Something tells me some
of these protesters are here illegally.

All this fuss over an 18 yr old yute
placing at CFD Lt. in a life or death
situation. Sorry, the yute lost and got
killed. Don't really matter if he was Black.
He was a gun-grabbing thug.
Will BLM be at the funeral or pay for it?
BLM is very one-sided. They got a movement
(more like a bowel movement), but won't help
with the final expenses of a wayward yute.
Really, why should they? It just encourages
criminal behavior.
That's just one more teenage badass off the streets
for good who can no longer take the lives of CFD/CPD
or his fellow Blacks for that matter. That last part is the
concept BLM really doesn't want to admit to. They know
they have a BIG problem within their own community,
Black on Black violence, which has nothing to do with the
white establishment. You just can't blame their own self-destruction
on the white man anymore.

Didn't they ban vests for the EMTS?

Seek and you shall find. The teenage diplomat
went looking for greener grass and he found it.
A self-made man at age 18. An inspiration to all
in the Black community.
Remember, MLK Jr. wanted a society where you
are judged by the content of your character rather
than the color of your skin. BLM, do you remember
MLK Jr.? Do you endorse his beliefs of non-violence?

CFD has always been brothers to CPD, when the strike years ago, not so much. Time heals all that b.s.
The good guys on the fire trucks do their jobs and if they are idle for the their 24 hours, so fucking what ! Those toxic fires have shortened many a fireman's life in the long run.
Been the police and retired and never wanted that job. Always give a F.F a play on street if you can. They are working stiff' like copper'.

Bless both the departments.

I am notorious for giving CFD a hard time and busting chops, even had some words with a few of them several times over the years and have woken them up at 3 am just for the hell of it. But like any family I have their back. I always make it a point to stop when I see them on a call to make sure everything is alright and if their is anything I can do to help. Even if it is just sitting there with the blue lights on.

He's not the only CFD LT with a carry permit out there. One of the early concealed carry classes I taught took place at a large downtown firehouse. My SIL coordinated the first class and we did several others for any Fire Fighter that wanted a permit.

Totally NOT officially approved by any means, Rahm would shit two bricks if he knew we did it in "his city".

So what did the fact that he was a fire LT have to do with anything. Absolutely nothing, Where is the Mayor on this ----CRICKETS. Now Fire personnel are being threatened because they are fireman protecting themselves in a city that refuses to protect its citizens because of political back lash. What a disgrace. Hope the fire dept files a class action lawsuit against the city for releasing his employment info that had nothing to do with it and for placing every other fireman if fear for their life now.

Something like this occurred when the Black Panthers put out a death list on Area Four Task Force Officers and others. All law enforcement and prosecution resources were put in motion. During that time period there were two shootouts at their headquarters on Madison and Western and the States Attorney Police killing of Freddy Hampton in his residence. A similar coordination should be instituted and this punk making the threats and other gang members should be illuminated one way or the other.

The yute wanted greener pastures. But he probably wanted to be looking down at it, not up.

Oh well.

Hope the CFD Lt has another gun to carry until the Crime Lab gives it back.

Always had a great relationship with CFD anytime our paths crossed while on duty.
Also, I have elderly parents who have had to call CFD numerous times for assistance. They've always gone above & beyond and have always shown compassion.
Than you for all you do!!!

Been retired eleven years but when on the job, I was always welcome by the houses at 49th? Cottage Grove and 54th Wabash to watch a football game and join them in an in-house cooked meal. Never hurt to drop off a case of pop now and then either. Never did understand this supposed rift between CFD and CPD.

A man that should be hailed as a hero to the community, for permanently removing a violent thug in the community, is now going to be targeted by other thugs in the community. I hopee CPD didn't confiscate his firearms.
Also, is anyone in that community showing their appreciation, or is it a community more concerned about their thugs? The chance for that community to show support for their heroes is rapidly diminishing.

Some of those Fire Fighters really can cook, but there are some damn good cooks who aren't nozzle jockeys. After my parents passed, I learned a little something in the kitchen.

BASIC CHEESE SAUCE RECIPE

1) Cup of milk
1) Stick of butter or margarine
1) 8 ounce brick of cream cheese
A couple of shoots of green onions (optional)

In a 2 quart saucepan on medium heat, melt the butter, add the milk, and stir in the cream cheese, using a whisk to get a nice, smooth consistency. That's it- this will make enough sauce for 1 pound of pasta. This is a stovetop recipe that can be ready in 10 minutes, while the pasta is cooking and the garlic bread is baking.

To make an Alfredo sauce, take the base recipe and add 1 teaspoon of garlic salt and 6 ounces of shredded Parmesan cheese. Do NOT use the granulated Paremsan from the canister, it will clump together. Keep using the whisk to achieve a smooth consistency.

To make a Cheddar sauce, take the base and add 1 tablespoon of mustard (a Honey Dijon works quite well, or a spicy brown mustard) and 8 ounces of shredded Cheddar. You could add some bacon bits or cubed ham (or both). To make a Southwestrn style Queso, add some diced tomatoes and peppers to taste. Another option is to use a small handful of crushed Hot Fries (about 5 or 6) to add some extra heat. Keep using the whisk to achieve a smooth consistency.

For a Cordon Bleu, add 2 ounces of Half-and-Half and 12 ounces of Swiss Cheese to the base recipe. Keep using the whisk to achieve a smooth consistency.

After viewing that on social media, there should be a bench warrant issued for this assholes arrest. He should be arrested, and held without bond if that's not asking to much from Kimmy. Protecting a person who exercised his constitutional right is paramount, and an example is immediately needed to send a message to these punk's. On this one, I would come out of being fetal until this shithead and any of his confederates are incarcinated. This is a call to arms and should be taken very seriously.

Com ed, gas company and other utility companies, and contractors working the south and west sides have armed guards following them to locations. Will it take a few dead bodies for the city to provide the same level of security to their employees?

What a difference...

We remember back in the day when "Community Members"
would be beating the doors off the hinges at the old
Fire House formerly located at 1123 W. Roosevelt Road
because they were being shot at by their fellow
"Community Members" from the triangle of misery.
(1111 W. Roosevelt, 1209 S. Racine and 1239 S. Racine)

This city has been given over to these wild-ass,
ungovernable swing-dicks in it's totality.

Firefighters can definitely cook. I have a group of fishing buddies some of whom from the central Ohio area are firemen. We got to the White River in Arkansas every year to fish monster trout. I thought my BBQ was tight. It is tight, but these guys, it was like secrets of BBQ Zen Smoking Masters. I learned all kinds of things from them, they can cook. If they're not trying to stop the neighborhood from burning down or administering narcan to junkies, they pretty much just cook for each other.

Likewise...

Took "lunch" at least a couple times a week on the beat
at an abandoned factory rail siding just off a shunt line.

Mistuh Union Pacific Po-leece would stop by
sometimes and we would commiserate over a
middling cup of carry-out coffee and a good
cee-gar...

"Yeah... There's only about a dozen or so of us
working in the Midwest tonight..."

Union Pacific was a pretty solid bunch.
They used to show up when ABLA blew up.

They helped out when we were trying to
put a hurt on some of the local train bandits.

Funny (but not quite so) seeing a half
mile string of busted big screen TVs
up on the right-of-way and seeing the
same make/model serving as the only
source of heat and illumination in
those creepy-crawly infested apartments.

Truly funny was seeing damn near EVERYBODY in ABLA
sporting the same kind of Timberland boots after
another box car was hit...

"These my cousin's boots!
We wear the same size!"

"You lyin'-assed m/fer... Why for you got
tissue crammed all in the toes?"

>Do the fool and see if you'uns don't
catch a sit-down for possession of stolen
property<

Good Times...

I passed by that Panther HQ, a solid, greystone former bank building across Western from the old Walgreen’s so many times I could point out the bullet marks from the shootouts.

I remember the Hampton raid very well. But a funny thing has happened to Hampton since he died - it has been discovered that he was not just another white-hating revolutionary - he was a visionary, a poet, and probably a genius. His stature is now unassailable, at least in the minds of blacks and their white enablers. The rot has spread so far - just look at the difference between J. Edgar Hoover, who helped put the kibosh on the Panthers - and Comey - that there is no longer any possibility of mounting anything like the kind of effort needed to get groups like BLM and antifa, much less some low level punk like Price.

You don't think that the City knows what City employees have CCL? Not hard to get list and run cross check.

Hope you don't believe that when gun registration was abolished the City destroyed those records. Probably sitting in a warehouse somewhere.
