Still a Secret
- Will Chicagoans ever find out what then-Mayor Richard M. Daley knew about the Chicago Police investigation that enabled his nephew to escape criminal charges in a homicide case for a decade?
The Illinois Appellate Court’s answer: No.
A written statement that Daley gave to a grand jury regarding the investigation must remain under lock and key because grand-jury secrecy trumps the public’s right to know what Daley said, a new ruling from the court states.
The statement Daley crafted four years ago came as he and other Daley family members were being interviewed by lawyers working under attorney Dan K. Webb, the court-appointed special prosecutor who ended up putting Daley nephew Richard J. “RJ” Vanecko in jail for throwing a punch that caused David Koschman’s death in 2004.
This will be like the JFK files - released long after anyone who might end up being even remotely responsible is dead, buried and forgotten. We will be leaving detailed instructions in our will for significant dates and locations of graves to piss on over the next century.

Daley helped elect all the judges. If that were anyone else they would print what was said along with there name all known addresses and all their relations.

Daley must have never used email or phone. Kwame Kilpatrick got 28 years federal time for far less than the Daley crime family did in one year. Look it up. I had to read the book Boss by Mike Royko in school. Daley followed that book like a damn blueprint. The main character in the movie Pursuit of Happyness himself said once Daley left office he was leaving Chicago. And sure enough, he did. The business leaders knew that whenever they needed something Daley did it for them. Period. Citizens be damned. Now we get people bitching and moaning when he is gone, but during the reign of mismanagement and terror he won elections by landslide.
Freedom of Information Act...unless you live in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Then, the laws do t seem to apply.

The Chief Judge had no problem releasing Grand Jury testimony in the Jon Burge case. Their point was that the public's right to know outweighed the Grand Juries secrecy rules. Of course in the Daley Crime Family Syndicate normal rules don't apply.
Scum Times reporter Dan M. at least had the balls to report that Daley family connected Judges refused to release information related to former Mayor Daley. All we can do is hope that the (?) Better Government Association will continue this fight and appeal this ruling. Of course in the corrupt State of Illinois the chance of getting away from the sphere of the corrupt Daley's is probably impossible.
The fall out from this case keeps raining on this city like a rain of raw sewage.
Who got punished here, for a murder and a juiced cover up? NOBODY.
Every clout lackey walked away untouched.

Say what you will about the Sun Times. Much of it justified. But their guys Fusco and Novak were the ONLY reason any of this saw the light of day. They got death threats. Without them Richie Vanecko wouldn't have spent all those horrible 60 days in jail for killing a kid, running away, and lying about it for four years. Scum.
Fuck shortshanks. Once he is on his death bead they will indict him like they did all the rest.

Well let me tell you a little secret just in case you didn't know it was his son Patrick who did the killing of David Koshman not RJ fanatical.
This is how we know that daley is dirtier than a New Orleans whore the day after Mardi Gras.
Hmm, so far 3 more people have died as a result of punches thrown yet not one peep from the media. No one is going to jail over these because everyone knows these are bar fights. Other then Daly's nephew name one person who's gone to prison for a similar crime. The dept got a black eye and good people lost their jobs for no reason.
Just as a pray that these sob's that cheated on the Lt's & Sgt' tests get theirs, some how some way. Dirty MF's....
Hizzoner probably answered questions in front of the Grand Jury the same way he responded to other inquiries: I don't know and I don't remember.
If you wanna know why it won't be released, just repeat that Daley is King and you're a commoner. Remember dat. Keep feeding the meters.

She wasn't paying attention or she would have won. Do you think that Richard J. Daley would have lost an election like that? Hillary thought she had it all wrapped up, didn't go where she needed to go, and Trump out hustled her.

This department f@cks with FOIA requests all the time. They defy the time limits, non-communicative and blames some other source as to why they can't fulfill the request. Don't let that "transparency " rhetoric fool you, you would never know the DOJ investigated the CPD, business as usual.

The lies and deceit just caught up with him, along with the connected hacks who did the Mayor's bidding and swept
Vanecko's name far away from the incident.

And they don't. And every Det. knows this. Vanecko got charged BECAUSE he was Daley's nephew. Show me ONE, JUST ONE case with similar facts and the offender getting charged. SHow me ONE.

Did other cases have missing files , calls to mayor ,commander of mayors detail ,chief of detectives ,crook county states attorney , ops, commander of area 3 detective division ,area 3 deputy chief
