Fed Up in Philly?

  • Teachers in Pennsylvania’s capital city are asking for support after a series of violent altercations with students has led to multiple resignations.

The Harrisburg Education Association says at least 45 teachers have resigned since July and October. Association President Jody Barksdale says more have resigned since then.

Speaking at a school board meeting Monday evening, first-grade teacher Amanda Sheaffer says she has been hit and kicked by her students.
So the "no punishment - increased violence" isn't unique to Chicago, St. Louis, Ferguson and Baltimore. Suspiciously though, it seems isolated only to certain communities. We're hoping for a study one day soon.

You don't need a study of the trouble if you follow the "old" justice depts logic. According to obama's people, 1/3 black 1/3 mexican and 1/3 white are causing the problems.

Since the head of the Chicago Teacher's Union want to align herself and her union with the BLM and other people who don't like the police, let her handle this on her own without any police assistance.

(OT) so you have a handful of goofs doing this nonsense:

Protest on Mag Mile during Black Friday targets police conduct

http://www.fox32chicago.com/news/local/protesters-gather-on-mag-mile-during-black-friday-to-hit-police-conduct

Then this elected morons comment:
Alderman Carlos Rosa, who was among the protesters, said the city of Chicago is spending $95 million for a new shooting range for law enforcement, but can't implement measures that increase oversight of police.

So the idiot doesn't know the money is for a new academy not just a shooting range! Great research alder goof and spreading the McDonald's lying false narrative!

I agree SCC. But how about taking it one step further. How about a study showing how many politicians in these cities actually send their devil spawn to public schools?

Too bad.

Chicago Teachers Union can fix it themselves.

They hate the police.

Remember, you are not their bouncers or disciplinarians.

They will turn on you in a heartbeat.

So what did you expect going to inner city school. They are only in school for free breakfast and lunch, and in some instances dinner. I thought those meals were covered in all the link payments. Guess not that money goes for the diner things in life (courtesy of selling link cards for cash), drugs, nails, booze and clubbing. The kids are just cramping that life style so they are left on their own. Mandatory sterilization after 2 out of wed lock children would be a start. Then take money away for any more than 2 dependents. Either way fewer mouth for legitimate society to house and feed. You or your Children arrested on drug charges there goes your section 8 housing. Enough is enough.

Okay, lets conduct a study and see why there is so much violence in these schools. Now the study is done and I think you can bet your ass its poverty, lack of jobs, availability of guns, institutionalized racism, the Republicans, the economy, etc. etc. etc., everything except future liberal democrat voters and community activists.

OT

I thought that the LSM and Barry and his group said that these officers were guilty and needed to go to jail for a long time and fired.

They got NOTHING.. but Freddies fam got to wins the ghetto lottery

BALTIMORE — The last of six Baltimore police officers involved in the 2015 arrest of a young black man who died from a spinal cord injury he sustained in a police van won't face a disciplinary hearing after the police commissioner decided not to proceed.
Sgt. Alicia White was scheduled to face a trial board and possible termination on Dec. 5 related to Freddie Gray's arrest and van transport.

But Wednesday night, Commissioner Kevin Davis dismissed the scheduled administrative hearing. White will face no further administrative actions, police spokesman T.J. Smith said in an email.
White's attorney told The Baltimore Sun that White was "grateful" for the decision.
"She has always maintained her innocence from the very beginning," Tony Garcia said.
Davis' decision came less than a week after a police disciplinary board cleared Lt. Brian Rice, the highest-ranking officer involved in the Gray arrest. The same three-member panel, made up of law enforcers, recently found the police van's driver not guilty.
The evidence and allegations against White are the same as the previous two hearings, and Davis did not feel another hearing would be in good faith, Smith said.
"We look forward to continuing the many reform efforts underway that will ensure the BPD is serving our city in a manner consistent with the expectations of our residents," Smith said.
The death of the 25-year-old Gray set off Baltimore's worst riots in decades and led to a federal investigation into allegations of police abuse. Baltimore and the Justice Department entered into a reform agreement after a scathing report by the federal agency outlined widespread misconduct and abuse within the city's police department.
Rice and other officers also were acquitted of criminal charges in Gray's arrest and death.

Both the president and the vice-president of the Chicago teachers union are stone cold socialist. Remember when Fergusson Missouri went up for grabs the Chicago teachers union send several bus loads of teachers down there to protest. they also send down dozens of pizza for the protestor to eat. I know several teachers and believe me the ones I know, hate both the president and the vice-president of the union. the problem is that they are white and are the minorities in the union.

1st grader punches me if I were a teacher? I'd grab the little shit by the back of his neck and duct tape him to the wall for a few hours. Take him down and tell him to apologize. If he didn't, I'd put him up there for a few more hours. Still doesn't apologize? Time for the Mace.

Paddles kept these little fools in line decades ago - paddles w/holes kept the bigger fools in line. Only took one whistling WHACK to set their ass on fire for the rest of the day and make them rethink their idiocy.

But you know, libtards, and now you have 1st graders punching and terrorizing teachers. I say "fuck that shit" - time for the adults to retake the asylum. Every teacher ought to carry a paddle, wear it on their belt. Dye it with red food coloring - spread rumors about some kid that really got a beating. Butt cheeks will clench up all over the school and the shitshow will end.

Parental involvement is non-existent in those neighborhoods - so teachers "in loco parentis" need to handle it.

Long way from a new thing. A long time age a friend of ours “wanted to make a difference” so she took up teaching in a “transitional school” in a disadvantaged neighborhood. She’s a tough cookie but about a month into her first term one of her fifth graders decided it was time to dance on his desk. The girls in the class dug it the most. She took the kid to the principals office where the principal told her to take him back to class and not make a fuss. If she wanted tenure. Later that day while wrapping up her day the kids mom showed up with a butcher knife and aquatinted teach with ghetto reality. She quit the next day.

There was a scene from the old 1970's horror flick "Carrie" when the female gym teacher punished all the girls from gym class who pulled a nasty prank on Carrie. They were serving detention in gym class and made to do calisthenics for an hour when the self-centered, hot popular blond of the group decides she doesn't have to do it anymore, she marches up to the teacher and tells her to shove the remaining 10-15 min "up her ass" refusing to finish the detention. The teacher hauls off and smacks the blond across the face, then kicks her out of the class. I remember a time when you wouldn't dare even think of saying that to a teacher, let alone hit them. And I remember a few kids getting put in there place through some physical force by a teacher or two when I was in school. Everyone knew who the trouble makers were and when it happened to them, the rest of us just knew they deserved it. And we also knew that if we acted like they did it would happen to us, so most of us behaved ourselves. That was before everyone decided that every kid in school now is a little angel and could do no wrong. Probably a big reason why we have more generations of lazy fuck-ups who cry foul whenever faced with responsibility or go ape shit having to answer to an authority figure.

I live in PA and I saw something on this in the New York Post at https://nypost.com/2017/11/21/dozens-of-teachers-terrorized-by-out-of-control-students-flee-school-district/
I was immediately struck by the fact that the it appeared from the photo front and center to be a group of Amish who were perpetrating all this violence! Only after viewing the caption which credits the picture from "Shutterstock" that it was only a stock, but very misleading photograph.
Why are we constantly barraged with misleading photos? This is only happening in the larger cities Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and the outlier Harrisburg from this story originated. In the rest of our Commonwealth where Obama told us we "cling to our guns and Bibles" things are still fine.

Simplest solution would be to offer them all at puberty the option to get sterilized in exchange for money. Even if we paid them 250K each it would be cheaper than paying to feed, clothe, house, heat, educate and eventually incarcerate their offspring and offspring's offspring. Anybody who has ever had feral cats learns this lesson VERY quickly.

Limiting(for life) welfare and foodstamps and all other programs to the number of children you have when first enrolling would help too: fine, we'll pay for the two kids you already have, but pop out any more at any time in the rest of your existence and its on your dime, no ours.
