Interesting, but not a big surprise. The United States is ranked near the top of all countries for murder, but when you deduct three or four cities, with the most strict gun laws, (all democrat controlled ironically) the U.S. murder rate plunges towards the bottom of the list.
It only shows when the Police are allowed to do their jobs, and the court system does theirs, as well as the prison systems, citizens in the U.S. are safer. But that is too hard for liberals to understand.

Had the TV on this morning, CBS 2 local at 11:OO hrs.came on before I could change the channel. The first story was the Prince of England was engaged to be married,then came a story on the Chicago warm weather with a full story showing people walking around in light jackets.
Anybody notice that the local news is feel good stories and 06 minute segments about the latest farmers market at the Daley center,sports,weather and that's all folks ?
One might think that this is the happiest feel good city in the world and there is no crime. I do notice that they never run out of stories about a Cop who pissed in an alley while in uniform in 1963 and is now being exhumed from the cemetery to be investigated for official misconduct.
