No Cash Bond - E.M.

  • Steven Seiler told police that, for about a month, he had noticed a bad smell coming from the bedroom of the Uptown apartment he shared with his wife, but he never bothered to look inside.

If he had, Cook County prosecutors said Friday, Seiler might have noticed a pile of blankets covering his wife’s body, which was naked save for a blue tarp, Assistant State’s Attorney Julia Ramirez said Friday.

Seiler said he didn’t find out his wife had died until he got a call from his daughter. The 60-year-old, however, was charged with concealing a death, implying that authorities believe he might have known sooner.

[...] On Friday, Judge David Navarro ordered Seiler released on electronic monitoring. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said Wilson had been dead for at least four days when her body was discovered by police. The office is awaiting the results of toxicology testing before issuing a ruling on how she died.
The original version of the story said "I-Bond," but the media makes corrections under the radar so Trump has a harder time catching them at the half-assed reporting (#fakenews) that is the new normal. But Cook County Courts, once again, are releasing anyone and everyone to keep the jail at "record lows" without even considering that (A) this guy may have murdered someone and (B) he appeared to have access to money for bail. Dart is still missing a few thousand prisoners on Electronic Monitoring.

Sheriff Tom Dart and State Senator Bill Cunningham have been personally responsible for countless rape, murders, robberies, car jackings, ect through Rocket Docket legislation .. They sold themselves to the devil. Blood is on their hands. Bill Cunningham spokesperson for sheriff sheahan said in 2002 that Sheriff Sheahan would rather put inmates in tents then release dangerous criminals onto the streets. That was when the jail population was at 13,000. Now Cunningham and Dart are seeking higher office and our literally flooding their own communities with criminals just for the sake of politics. Someone seriously needs to run against Cunningham next time. Unfortunately Dart will probably win again but has zero chance of going anywhere higher than Sheriff.

Something terrible has happened in the past 10 years. I got arrested for credit card shit, no bond. Seriously. 2001. Went to County, spent 6.5 months there, where the guards would yell, plead out or bond out. These were the days of the naked strip searches and let's just say certain guards were entertained by it. Now you mean to tell me, felons with new gun charges get i-bonds, you possibly kill someone you get one, you hit a cop in the face you get one. WTF man. Is this Bizarro world or what?

See a pattern, class?

This was the topic of tonight’s chalk talk with the recruits.

Thanks for posting this, SCC. More source material for the kids.

So he had a bad cold and couldn't smell a thing. Just holding ID and ring so she wouldn't lose them. Slept in other room so she could get her beauty sleep under tarp she favored over normal blankets. "All seems logical to me", judge dummy said when he let him out on electronics monitoring.

I blasted an email to about 30 Chicago reporters in regards to Dart's disastrous EM program in August. One from the Sun-times shockingly got back to me but it was a rather disappointing response. Cara Smith spokesman for Dart told the reporter that SCC and social media were exaggerating the claims of inmates AWOL from the program. Cara Smith said there was only 217 inmates currently missing from EM and for the year the number who violated EM was less than 600. Somehow the Editors at the Sun-times didn't think this was newsworthy... Cara Smith is a know liar so I'm sure her numbers were not accurate. However, even if they were, that meant 217 inmates charged with serious violent offense's were currently missing from Sheriff's custody. Dart openly brags about increasing EM by 800% since 2014. Many officers in the Sheriff's EM unit tell incredible tales on how many of these people have committed new violent offenses while wearing Dart's coveted bracelet. Where is the Chicago media? Where is John Kass? Why wont they even report when Dart hands out bracelets to murderers like the Ford Heights Woman who stabbed her boyfriend 64 times and one week later she was free wearing a Dart ankle tattoo. How is this not newsworthy?

Rotflmao! WTF did he think it was, a dead mouse. LOL

Might have noticed? Rotfl Stop it, you guys are cracking me up!

---> which was naked save for a blue tarp, Assistant State’s Attorney Julia Ramirez said Friday.

Wait a sec... I think I have it! -- The guy's wife was an Inuit (aka: Eskimo) and per their ancient tradition when they know they're dying they go off on their own on an Ice Flow, so they can die alone. Since there isn't any Ice Flows in Chicago, she went in her bedroom and covered herself up with the tarp and blankets.

See, it explains everything 'Mystery Death' solved. LOL.
_____________
Okay, come on, this story isn't real. It's a spoof, from the Onion or some website like that. It has to be, everyone involved seems to be a comedian based on what they said or did.

Like the Judge, letting this guy walk free. That's f--king hillarious.

The wife disappears for a month and you don't care, complain, or notify anyone? Sounds like End Stage Matrimony to me. Sometimes you just have to learn to let go. Let this marriage die with dignity, etc..

Considering how bad some of the buildings and apartments are - condition wise (I can't bring myself to say "maintained"), it might have been a better smell than what they normally have...

Still, you'd expect a Judge to say "Ummm, even if that were the case, this doesn't pass the smell test (pun intended) - bail denied. Next case!"...

But this being Crook County Bizzaro land - well, this is what we get... Why even have a fucking jail? Just close the damn thing, put up some condos (wiith the 10% affordable housing set aside libtards love), and move on...

Just give all the criminals exploding shock collars with remote controls. Cut it off - boom... misbehave - boom. Someone hacked it? Oops - boom. Things running low on batteries? boom. Pretty soon, no one wants to have one of those on because.... boom.

Wrapped up in a tarp for days and now awaiting toxicology studies (death investigation) sometime in March 2018, why pile on to sick and tied Special Ed’s Annual Murder tally?
Simple fact is the I-Bond deflects the heat off the seriousness of Chicago’s out of control violent crime and weak ability to prosecute.
Or could it be that there’s too many people of non-colour in DartJail?

Fundamentally Changed Justice.
Look to decrepit Uptown and who there is voting and electing things like PrickWanker, KimmJongFxxx and Teem Evans.
Hey if the dolt AlderStooge doesn’t care if a maniac is allowed to roam the Uptowns’ then it must be ok.

Y’all,
None of your business. Just keep doing your job locking these clowns up and making your overtime. It is not worth getting aggravated about given the nature of Crook County Courts. We have enough stress and shouldn’t have these judges make us more irritable than we already are as a profession.

Just my two cents

No wonder the bad guys don't care. Busted before noon, home for dinner by 5. Or more likely, robbing someone else by 5. This "catch and release" program isn't working out very well Kimmy. Maybe if you go down there and give them a stern talking-to before release, that might make a difference. Have Tommie boy order some pizza first. Don't forget, the boys like sausage on theirs.

Hmmmm...

This reminds us of that one "Check The Well Being" call
that just about every working Copper has had to answer
several times in their career...

Neighbor called about the elderly couple.
They reported seeing the old man off and on but not
the old lady.

It was late spring seguing into summer and the neighbor
thought it was odd that the old man was still wearing
winter clothing.

It was an old house... Masonry up to the basement windows
then frame/clapboard up to the attic. You know, one of
the many that went up circa the Great Chicago Fire.

Well... Old Man didn't want to let us in but we gently
"Bogarted" our way in.

She was still in bed.
Half skeletonized half mummified.

They had been married for over 60 years.
little old folks just trying to get by.

Momma probably got up at dawn and made Poppa
his egg, toast and coffee.

One day Momma just wouldn't wake up no matter
how Poppa begged, pleaded and cried.

Life... Ceased making sense to him on that day.

Somehow, he barely functioned from that day
until the day The Police made entry into the house.

Poor guy wasn't long for this world by that time.

Ya can't help but get a little misty-eyed
thinking about little people like that.

But this latest story?
Our Police Senses alert us to dude
being a stone-cold, first order jagoff.

Sympathy for The Policemen who had to go
poking around in the place to find what
was left of this woman.

The sight and smell echoes in your mind
for the rest of your life.

But hey, it's The Police who embody all
that's wrong with Chicago.

Right?

Police Like You Have No Friends.

The Indian Head Park sgt. shot his son because he watered down his vodka you fucking idiot. There was no investigation to be had, as is necessary to determine if this other guy murdered his wife or not. When they can prove he murdered his wife, the appropriate charges will be filed and I assure you he won’t be on EM.

Do the job more than part time, it’s obvious you are an Indian Head Park part timer/troll pretending you know how this works, when in fact you do not.

Cara Smith is obviously lying. One of my best friends used to run the EM program for Cook County. He pulled the pin a few years ago rather than put up with Darts bullshit. At that time he estimates that there were AT LEAST 500 inmates out on EM that the Sheriff had no idea where they were. I'm pretty sure it's become worse since my friend retired
