CCL Stops a Crime Again

  • The owner of a store in the East Garfield Park neighborhood shot a would-be robber Thursday morning on the West Side, according to police.

The 17-year-old boy tried to rob the store in the 200 block of North Kedzie at 10:46 a.m., according to Chicago Police.

The robbery was interrupted by the store owner, a 40-year-old man, who exchanged gunfire with the suspect, police said.

The teen was shot in the upper right shoulder and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said. He is in police custody, and was previously arrested for armed robbery on Nov. 28.
10:46 AM? Wasn't there school today?

Previously arrested for Armed Robbery? He made bail? And got another gun?

"17 year old boy"? How about "armed recidivist felon who shot at a store owner"?

Rahm al-Ghoul and the media shamelessly
strain and shit themselves in their effort to
curry favor with a failed community that
aids and abets a breathtakingly violent
demographic subset and actively engage
in an anti-public safety civil war against
those who desire to live in peace and safety
and The Police - as imperfect though they may
be, who embody a not insignificant portion
of that peace and safety deliberately made
scarce and hard to come by in this current era
in Chicago.

All because Rahm Emanuel is a nasty, vile and
craven, grasp-exceeding-reach wretch of a North Shore,
privileged bigot and classist who intentionally brought
ruin, violence and chaos to this city all because he
deliberately quashed timely release of the JVD/LMcD
video to spare himself the wrath of the black electorate.

Rahm the perennial go-to insider/lick-hitter and
"Mittel-Mensch" was ass out in how to keep the
Chicago Democratic Slave Plantation from
simultaneously going up in flames (he gives a shit)
and casting off the Democratic yoke (joyous day
if they ever did) in the face of an unexpected run off
election.

Rahm's true character, (actually his astounding lack of)
has been revealed, so all he has left is to pander to a
breathtakingly violent, politically empowered demographic
subset by mis-casting The Police as the sole source of
their problems, when the problem itself can be found in
the 5th floor suite of offices at 121 N. LaSalle St.

Amusing...
Everybody is all up their own ass about "all the money
you Cops are costing us."

Those monies paid out constitute in no small part
vile, venal and cynical politics to promote a "blame
The Police for all your problems" narration.

And no one in their righ mind would deny that The
Police need "fixing."

The very first step should be to peel away all the
bullshit that has been deliberately over-written on
The Police hard drive for the sake of Fuckery and
clout/race based based politics.

Restore Chicago Policing to it's pure and unmolested
state that's true to it's mission regardless of political
feelings that will be hurt.

The "reform" will nigh near take care of itself
as common sense seeks it's own level like
water and flood out the rats and misfits.

And certain cliques and constituencies will
wail disconsolately because their CPD "toy"
has been snatched from their grasp and set
upright.

The upright man will have his wrath yet...

Not a LEO, but have a brilliant idea. It's not the police that are the problem. It's the politians. Arrested on a felony and in less than a month doing it again! Its odd that the people who set up this "catch and release" scheme all have personal bodyguards. They feel safe! At least we finally have CCW in Illinois.

Yes there was. But **rumor has it** that the "Boy" only tried sticking up the grocery store because he's poor and needed Lab Fees for his 8th Period, Advanced Physics Course that afternoon.

As to that Nov 28th Armed Robbery arrest, that was just a big misunderstanding. He was trying to get change for a $50 dollar bill that a lady gave him for helping her cross the street with her groceries. But due to the "Boy's" speech impediment the person thought the "Boy" was trying to rob him.

OT...Taser, taser, taser!

JUST IN: Three Now-Former Deputies Indicted For Murder In Taser Death

"Former Deputies Rhett Scott, Michael Howell, and Lee Copeland have now been charged with felony murder, involuntary manslaughter, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, simple assault, and reckless conduct, according to WMAZ. Warrants have been issued for their arrest.

The charges stem from a Jul. 7 incident when a homeowner called 911 to report Martin, who suffered from schizophrenia, as a suspicious person after he asked the homeowner for water."

The video is very poor quality with no audio. The video seems to be the only evidence.

https://www.themaven.net/bluelivesmatter/news/just-in-three-now-former-deputies-indicted-for-murder-in-taser-death-qXqZa6WFyUOp8rzOy7xX2Q

Apparently, the officers intended to take the subject into custody as an arrest or a psychological patient. Every time an officer puts his hand on the subject pulls away.

The Grand Jury (States Att/prosecutor) thinks the subject should not have been tased.

Haven't we been trained to use the taser in this situation? Note, he was zapped on grass, not the street.

What should the officers have done?

If you let the schizophrenia walk away, anything the mental does after the POs let him go is on the officers.

This situation cannot be talked about without thanking former Governor Pat Quinn. That piece of shit raised the age for teens charged as adults from 17 back to 18. The reason was that too many people/folks of color were getting caught up in the racist oppressive criminal justice system ruining they're future. Not they're ruining their own future by engaging in criminal-anti-social behavior. Leaving us and society to deal with another year of savagery from the wayward youths. When your liberal and aren't getting the brunt of the beat downs/robberies etc... you can believe that you were looking out for Illinois best interests.

SCC, sorry to go off-topic, but this is very interesting to me for various reasons, and if it has already been brought up on this site, my apologies. But I do think it's very telling about the Mayor - again - for various reasons. The levels of hypocrisy here are disgusting, and it pretty much typifies who he really is. It's worth its own post, in this reader's humble opinion.

"Today, the brothers argue just as passionately about the role that environment and genetics played in the life of their sister, who in recent years has been on and off the welfare rolls that Rahm worked so hard to cut."

Yes, you read that right. Just like he encouraged Clinton to crack down on illegals, he pushed to end welfare. But wait, there's more:

"Intellectually, Shoshana developed normally - like her brothers, she graduated from New Trier, one of the most competitive high schools in the country - but she needed four operations and years of physical therapy to give her 85 percent use of her left side. She had a difficult adolescence, and today Marsha Emanuel, at the age of 63, is raising Shoshana's two illegitimate children. (None of the Emanuels will talk about Shoshana in detail, and she declined to be interviewed for this article.)"

Here is the link right here:

http://www.nytimes.com/1997/06/15/magazine/the-brothers-emanuel.html

I have to feel for the daughter, and I am not in any way making light of her situation. But I'll be damned, the Emanuel Brother's really do have their own little Jewish Kennedy thing going, along with their own Rosemary Kennedy. I feel sorry for her for not only what she endured as a child, but also for being part of those brothers.

Now, this is where it gets very interesting, an 18 year old named Tuvia Emanuel:

http://www.rrstar.com/article/20110815/News/308159880

Now see here:

http://mugshots.com/US-Counties/Illinois/Winnebago-County-IL/Tuvia-Emanuel.68908425.html

And now, to tie it all together, and what makes it truly interesting is this:

https://www.whitepages.com/name/Tuvia-Emanuel

Read the names associated with this man, who is now 24 years-old. Yes, that is Shoshana (Rahm's adopted sister) and Benjamin (Rahm's father). Which all ties back to the 1997 NYT article that says Shoshana's adopted parents (Benjamin and Marsha) were raising Shoshana's "illegitimate children."

So where is Uncle Rahm in this lost youth's life? Where is Rahm in his sister's life? Clearly, he can't be bothered, because he is busy, out courting voters. My hope is that this goes wider and gets into the brains of inner-city people of Black and Hispanic descent, because it should be at least one part of a pretty significant case for sinking this disgusting man.

They can expunge after felony conviction, too. You want to know why the armed carjackings are exploding??? This is one reason why.

Special thanks to the policeman at 31st and Michigan who wrote the military officer in full uniform all those tickets thank you for your service

12/22/2017 10:11:00 AM

I've never written a member of the military, but how about some personal responsibility for "all those tickets?" The uniform you wear shouldn't be seen as a free pass to drive like an asshole. Furthermore, when you're wearing that uniform, you represent whatever branch of the military you're in, so you should probably drive in a manner that doesn't give anyone a chance to write you "all those tickets." I've stopped members of the military, police officers, nurses, and other various people who were driving like complete fools, and then acted like I was doing something wrong for stopping them. Attitude goes a long way when you're stopped. You could easily earn a few tickets by driving like an asshole and then acting like an entitled prick when stopped. I've never personally written any of the above, despite the shitty attitudes I encountered. However, I wouldn't blame someone else if they did. When I'm pulled over, I always apologize, admit whatever violation I've committed, and hand over my license, on the off chance that the person stopping me plans on issuing a ticket. Professional courtesy works both ways. Demands and entitlement aren't part of it. I'm certain you know a few people in the military who are complete assholes, even some who despise the police. I know a few police officers who are total assholes. A uniform doesn't make you a great person who never deserves to be held accountable for things you do. Thanks for your service, and try to keep yourself from getting "all those tickets" by not committing "all those violations."

No, I didn't write you. I haven't been to traffic court in about 12 years now, and I don't plan on going anytime soon. I also never wrote any of the asshole cops, firefighters, nurses, or military personnel I've stopped, despite any shitty attitudes encountered. And before the whiny liberals chime in, I've given breaks to hundreds more "regular citizens" and even known criminals and gang members, so don't give me the "special treatment" and "above the law" speeches. You have to earn a ticket from me, and it takes a hell of a lot.

Can we refuse to take a taser? fop?

12/22/2017 12:19:00 AM

Read the orders. You don't need the FOP to answer that one.

To the person wanting the FOP to do everything for them,

Since I know you won't read the order, here's the relevant portion for you:

"Department members assigned to field duties that have been trained in the use of Taser devices will request the issuance of a Taser and will be required to carry the Taser. The Taser will be carried in an approved holster, on the support side. Members will ensure the Taser is carried in the approved holster to reduce the risk of damage to the Taser and cartridges. If there is an insufficient supply of Tasers, they will be issued at the station supervisor's discretion."

if you get a CCL get The Judge, shoots a .410 shotgun load. Has good shot spread and will be hard to miss with. Also very intimidating look.

I have the Judge that loads the 3” shells. Where exactly would you carry this concealed? It is enormous and weighs as much as a brick. It would be a poor choice for a CCL holder and is better for home or vehicle defense. Especially in the winter, when anyone unzipping jackets and peeling back layers of sweatshirts to access a weapon holstered on their belt would be dead before they had a chance to defend themselves. Winter is the time for an outside pocket weapon.

Don’t worry about the intimidating look. If you have to draw it, you’re probably going to use it in the non-law enforcement world of CCL. Ask someone shot by today’s superb .380 and 9mm ammo whether they care about whether the gun was intimidating or are more concerned with how a hot hollow point evicerated them.

This is outrageous. I think the courts should sentence this ruthless store-owner to at least 3 to 7.....days at an area shooting range of his choice, where he can receive one-on-one (finger) sensitivity training on trigger-pull weights, and some extra-special attention to working on shot-placement groups to center-mass, at no charge.

With a little extra time and practice I am sure he could help reduce the cost to society of having to hospitalize and rehabilitate the next hapless creature who makes his way into that store intent on making the free buck.

I think you forgot the biggest offenders, but am glad you don’t write some of the offenders. I too get aggravated, but do not write because I don’t want someone to suffer for the transgression of an idiot that I previously stopped.

yes, you are most likely right on this. That was one of the problems with the Daleys, no one of any character or quality ever ran against them, the machine and their money. Bobbie Rush? Mosby? America First Daley? Really? Chewy the socialist? Some pizza king who does not know his ass from a hole in ground, racists, cop haters, communists?

I looked at the Judge but it's a 5 shot. I bought the S&W Governor instead. I'm just used to having 6 rounds available. It sits on my nightstand. And one dog on either side of the bed.

You cannot lawfully carry "The Judge" concealed under ILCS. Be smart and don't get jammed up. A 9MM Luger, .40 S&W, or .45 ACP are more than adequate for personal protection if you know how to use them.

If you act professional,

You get the courtesy.

If, and I say, if, any candidate, for any elected office, anywhere in crook county or the city, is endorsed by POTUS, they get my vote.

I agree. The Judge and S&W Governor are bedside guns. Fun to shoot, but who the hell would want to carry all that weight. Even if it was legal i wouldn't. I carry a 9mm compact. I'm not looking for a firefight, just something of substance to defend myself with. Fire a 9mm up close and personal and let me know if and when the ringing in your ears stops! My compact 9 does have a bit more "kick" over a full sized 9, but that's the tradeoff for a concealable, compact carry gun. It's manageable with practice and patience. Too much attention is paid to what's cool or badass, and not what's practical.

Hey, just ask Det D McE at the JISC. She says M/1s are victimized and arrested by the mean policeeces more than anyone else. She will just let the kid go with no court and tell the parents how to contact COPA.

Thanks for the head up............
