Remember, Police Are the Problem
- The father of a 5-year-old boy who accidentally shot himself in the hand in the city's South Chicago neighborhood has been arrested. This is the second time Kavan Collins has suffered a gunshot wound in his short life.
The child was in his dad's bedroom in their home in the 8100-block of South Coles Avenue just before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, when police said he found the gun under a mattress and shot himself in the index finger.
Kavan was rushed to Comer Children's Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
His dad was taken into custody and will face charges, including child endangerment and a gun charge, police said. He also has a criminal history with the CPD.
Last year, the kid got shot in the jaw while out with Mom. Hopefully the parents aren't trying to one-up each other by getting junior wounded in their "care."

Case dismissed--- he is just a dad trying to prevent himself and his family become statistics in the Chicago genocide holocaust- and no, I don't know the meaning of genocide or holocaust.
It is my civic duty to document and report the tragic man-made disaster that has occurred at the Grand/Central police station, otherwise known as the 025th District Indian Burial Ground. The main power generator for the station is about to be cut off, so I have very little time left to communicate before we completely lose all electricity.
An alien behemoth, known only as Escamerit, has obliterated almost all human police life as we know it in 025. This thing, this Escamerit, it thrives on....it needs....accolades and pension bumps. It's entire life force feeds on comp stat numbers. Promoted beyond its mental capacity, it's too stupid to learn about anything else in life or how to provide competent leadership. We knew things had taken a turn for the worst when he started devouring not only patrolmen, but also fellow white shirts as well, regardless if they had clout or not.
Downtown is embarrassed. They want to act like they had no part in creating this abomination. As dumb as this clouted monstrosity is, Escamerit knows he is isn't going to get promoted anymore. His goal now is to drive out every person he can from the district, then freeze himself inside the radio room. He wants another police department to come along, thaw him out, and be stupid enough to promote him again. It looks like we are going to have to heat things up a bit.
Do not despair though, for all is not yet lost. A resistance group has gathered and they have just mounted a counter-attack! Made up of various mad hatters, drunks, fools, and freed gang tac slaves, this surly crew has taken none too lightly to being awoken from their slumber by Escamerit. Armed with muskets and Vietnam War era flame throwers, they have managed to coral this ungodly Quadruple-Merit, Quota sucking leech into the CAPS office. For some reason, Escamerit seems to draw his power from that particular location.
Myself and Tony the janitor have barricaded ourselves upstairs in the old Area 5. As we watch the firefight from down below us, I can't help but feel that I'm witnessing the most important battle to take place for all mankind. The heavens tremble, and lord help me, I can hear the ghost of Iron Joe Curtin laughing as fiery timbers light up the sky in an explosion of ecstasy. There's not many of us left. OT: I watched the news yesterday and saw another example of incompetence by an attorney who is representing one of our own in a case that could land him in jail for the better part of his life. When is this guy or the FOP going to wake up and seek new counsel? His freedom is at stake here. He needs an experienced professional to defend him.
For years I've wondered why "poor" families on welfare with little hope of success stay in Chicago with it's high crime and awful weather rather then moving to a warmer climate at a lower cost and crime rate.
Then a social worker explained to me that between Chicago, Crook County an the state of Illinois our welfare class here is entitled to taxpayer funded "benefits" unmatched anywhere else in America.
Truly a modern version of slavery except now government is the new "master' and instead of work in the homes and fields all the new "master" expects in return now for feeding, clothing an housing their new generation of slaves is votes.
And of course this is all provided by the sweat and labor of actual productive citizens that pay the taxes which support this system.
Future generations will look back at the well intentioned "great society" programs and the government dependance they've breed with shame and horror.
Kim Foxx will find negligence on the police. It was their fault, allowing all these guns on the street.

Then in a year or so his kid will again get daddy's gun, but this time kill himself or someone else and the do-gooders will scream, 'How did he get a gun?' And Special Ed will spew stupid shit about 'Lax Gun Laws', while Tiny Dancer blames the NRA and Pres Trump.

This is so sad. The saddest part of my job is seeing how innocent children are born in to this world in bad circumstances. I was one of them. My dad was locked up and my mom was a drug addict. My grand parents rescued me. If it weren't for them I would probably have chosen the wrong path in life.

If COPA calls you for an interrogation as an accused member, can you body cam the entire event? That might aid help because then you'll at least have the record to review prior to any further statements.

Just got the FOP magazine and 10 cops (9 in September 2017 alone) retired with 22 years or less on the job.
It's a real thing. People are jumping ship. I'll have my 20 in a year and I'm gone. What a fucked up time we are living in. People are re-starting their lives in their 40s and 50s and finding new jobs because of the current state of affairs.

All paths lead to the grave.
It is what we choose to do while traveling them that defines each as to who you are.
Credit given to others, while gracious and humble, omits the quality possessed, by the chooser, who chooses to appreciate, by choosing to value, the qualities so worthy of being valued.
Many are given abundant example of valuable qualities and still find them of no value to their chosen nature.

This is another crazy fucked-up thing the Department did to minimize a Detective position. They took the Kiddy Police and gave them Detective Stars. Just a quick story, a Juvenile Officer all his life and suddenly he's a Detective with the badge and retires. I was at a police thing in Florida and this guy was walking around with his Detective Star on this belt and telling anyone who would listen, about being a Detective in a Tactical Youth Task Force. He went on to say his unit was only assigned to the most dangerous gangs in the City. When he saw me, he got quiet and took leave when I started laughing. Tactical Youth Task Force?? Where the fuck did he come up it that one, it just amazes me, these people with movies going on in their heads. The never ending BS, WTF.

Yep and then they put them in SVU. Actually most of the youth officers had taken the detective test and passed and were high on the list. At detectives school you were given one of three choices. Detective, hands or youth. A few times no one choice youth so they sent the ones with least seniority to youth. You could turn it down and wait for the next detectives class but you risked having the lust torn down before you were made. Premise in the academy was that all detectives were cross trained in the 3 pisitions

Um, don't think so. Those "future generations" will be asking, "Where's MY share" and voting for Bernie Sanders' heir apparent. The Great Society programs created the permanent underclass that powers illegal immigration, the welfare state and the Democrat party's survival and have for almost 50 years. There's no reason to believe anyone will wise up any time soon.
