006 Scandal
- A Chicago police officer is under investigation for allegations he sexually assaulted a suspect in police custody, a department spokesman said Tuesday.
The male officer, who is assigned to the South Side’s Gresham patrol district, was accused of sexually assaulting the male suspect at an area hospital, said Anthony [Googleme], the spokesman.
He said the allegation was reported to Chicago police Sunday evening. The officer was on duty at the time.
The officer has been relieved of his police powers and placed on paid desk duty while the investigation takes place...
You do know that someone in custody can't consent to anything like that, right? A thousand other places to get your freak on (the Kissing Bandit would have been happy to supply you with a list), but you decide to try your luck with a prisoner in a hospital. You've got a real brain trust operating in your skull, don't you?

Obviously, the department needs to be held accountable and drastic changes in policy need to be made to prevent crimes like this from ever happening again. From now on, all prisoner hospital details will be done by Sgts only. They must maintain radio contact with the Lt every 2.5 minutes. No exceptions!

Guys don’t rush to judgement until all the facts are in at trial - after all The illustrious Sgt. Herman of the 006th district had his case miraculously overturned many years later on appeal and he successfully sued his accuser. And everybody under the sun had some sort of commentary on Sgt. Herman who was promoted before the merit process was even thought of. Now you may call the relief given to Sgt. Herman M/2 privilege but the fact of the matter is all of the facts are not in and until then this PO is considered innocent. Who knows what video coverage may show.

To take away the attention from this scandal, along with the Area Gang fiasco, Ed asked for some ideas. The Commander of 025 suggested each district starts its own softball team to play all against each other for charity. Fancy uniforms will be bought and new equipment.
Some of the names being kicked around are: 017 Arena's Albany Assholes, 025 Grand/Central Merits, 014 Wicker Park Pussy Willows, 012 The Bubbleheads, 011 Harrison Bullet Dodgers, 023 Boys Town Beach Balls, and the 006th District Booty Burglars. A contest will be held similar to the design your own squad car from last year to get input on uniform colors and other team names.

Anyhow, I am really beginning to think that watering down the standard of new hire is actually a way to speed up federal over sight. As long as we have dumb people that will make dumb decisions, it’s easier to make way for civilian (monday night qb) over sight and federal consent decree. The perfecr example would be Oakland PD. Currently in 006, the information I have received is as follows: Copper on days woth 10 years on was on a hospital detail and watching a guy in custody for a gay domestic. The copper locks himself in the bathroom with the arrestee, sucks his D, sucks his toes and to top it all off eats his ass. After the arrestee blew his load on superBLOW Sunday, the guy put a beef in. LT calls the copper down to the office and the guy says if his dna is anywhere on this guys dick it is because he sneezed on it. There is body cam footage of the copper deleting pictures of the act he just performed right in front of the body cam. God bless America.

I'll take that bet. Do you honestly think the cop who decides to eat a prisoner's asshole will turn on his body cam to document it, just because he's supposed to? You're dumber than he is. You won't be turning on your camera in the hospital. Don't worry. In general, you can assume any cop who willingly decides to commit a crime, particularly sexual assault, won't worry too much about the general orders regarding body cam rules.

This is some of the dumbest shit I've read on here. If a citywide unit "asks for a strange favor," you say no. If anyone leaves cash and drugs behind on their scene, call them back because they forgot something. You don't inventory someone else's shit, and any white shirt who orders you to do so is a fucking moron. As for taking your own "piks" and getting names, I'm sure the citywide units will pose for your pictures and give you their names before abandoning drugs and cash at their scene. I mean, why wouldn't they want to help you violate general orders by snapping your own pictures like a fucking clown? And, if they're up to no good, or working with the feds, I'm sure they'll be happy to let you photograph them and get their names. Please never spread your idiotic rumors on here or anywhere, and for God's sake, please never give advice again.

If you came on in the mid 90s in your mid 30's you could go now with almost free health care and a pension. If you want to work on this dept.past 63 you seriously have been short changed,but not the way you think.

My wife just got out of a meeting with the Lt and mayors office at HQ, they are disbanding the whole 6th District. Also putting everyone in uniform, bc these no good phone call babies in 006 need to push a beat car like me. I'm so bitter and angry I need the whole department to do what I do. It's a done deal just like GEU. The order will be out on Monday.
