Peace Loving Rappers Arrested

  • In court this afternoon, prosecutors said that the accused men were in a limousine and their driver informed police that some of his passengers were armed. Cops kept the limo under observation and pulled it over near State and Roosevelt around 8:30 p.m. according to a CPD source, not 10:30 p.m. as previously stated in a police press release.

Prosecutors said a gun was found under the seat where Deavonte Kimble was sitting. Another gun was allegedly found inside a gym bag that was in the limo’s front seat with Marchello Walton, according to charges.

These three guns were recovered from rapper G Herbo's limousine on Thursday evening, police said. Herbert “G Herbo” Wright was seated in the rear seat and cops said they saw him put a handgun into a seat pocket. Attorneys for the men said all three are in the music industry. Wright, who is based in Chicago, has worked with Chance the Rapper, Common, and Nicki Minaj, among others.
Their music promotes peace, love and understanding among the "community"

Why no protests in front of county? Where are the demands that they have the book thrown at them? Isn’t what “stronger” gun laws will do? Isn’t that what people are calling for? Or are they just confused as to why the west side schools staged a walkout on Friday?

Did G Herbo ever work with UnCommon the Rapper?

UnCommon was born unto married parents and he grew up in a house where his parents both lived. He is 28 years old with no children out of wedlock. He has a college degree and has never done illegal drugs. Also, he has never been arrested and he regularly attends church services. Oh, and his music is uplifting and without foul or misogynistic language. He's a rare one.

Hmmm.... Just curious who these people, along with those name-dropped associates, affiliate with politically. My guess is the DNC, But how could they explain the guns and be good Democrats at the same time? I mean, one cannot support politicians (democrats) that categorically oppose the 2nd Amendment and also carry guns, right? The talking heads on TV imply that everything the liberals demand is how one paved the road to perfection. Yet they ignore the rules the desire when it comes to themselves, and on the bigger picture, ignore actual failures like Venezuela when it comes to policy they want to impose on their inferiors. Go Fuck Yourselves.

Gun laws don't apply to the protected political class. It's their job to spread chaos and mayhem so the misinformed lead by the ill intentioned demand gun confiscation in a fit of self righteous indignation.

To the goof talking about “UnCommon” the rapper, check your facts, and your lyrics.

He’s found a niche, but make no mistake- still much ado about nothing.
Just a guy who likes to play the clean cut role, and yell about the problems in his community (basically being oppressed by the man), without using his platform to push towards a solution.

And I love when people feel like it’s sonething special to grow up in a house with both of your parents, and have no children out of wedlock at the age of 28. Yep, that’s a huge feat, can I get a round of applause for him?
Almost sounds like most of the coppers who went to catholic high schools, but you don’t hear them asking for a cookie......

To the goof talking about the goof talking about "UnCommon" the rapper...you may have just ranted about fiction and satire. And cut the whole Catholic school bit. I work with a ton of people who grew up Catholic and/or went to Catholic school and they generally don't know a thing that was taught outside their classes for first communion. I went to a public school and have been associated with far too many people from Rice, Rita, De La Salle, Leo and Marian to see merit in your staunch support of Catholic school.

RE: UnCommon the Rapper, original comment at 2/24/2018 12:42:00 AM.

the original comment is satirical in nature.

it is not an anti-Common comment.

there was no mention of Catholic schools.

UnCommon is fictional and very uncommon, similar to a unicorn.

reading comprehension is a skill.

and to the goofs talking about the goofs talking about the goofs talking about the goofs. You're all goofs!
