Nice Arrest

  • Chicago police said a search of a Skokie man’s house turned up an estimated 423 pounds of marijuana with a street value of more than $3 million.

In a release, police said David S. Gutierrez, 31, of the 4800 block of North Kirk Street in Skokie, has been charged with manufacturing or delivery of cannabis, a felony, as well as misdemeanor unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Gutierrez appeared before Judge Michael Clancy on Saturday afternoon for a hearing at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse, where he was ordered held on $100,000 bond. He must pay $10,000 to be released.

Police said tactical officers executing a search warrant at Gutierrez’s home on March 29 found the drugs, four handguns, a shotgun and an unspecified “large amount” of cash.
Too bad he couldn't have waited until weed is legalized across the Midwest. Might have saved himself a stay in County.

$10,000.00 is 0.333333% of the total street
value of $3 Million.
Judge must have went to Cooley Law School.
Mental midgets on criminal matters, but would
fail to blush on a simple will, power of atty.,
medical power of atty.
Lawyers are generally lazy and greedy. Some
are even criminals.

Funny, how almost a 100 years makes practically no difference whatsoever......

Too bad it is in Crook County, other counties would actually punish this fool. Nothing but the new age restorative social peace circle justice merry go round here - unless it is a policeman on trial; for him they will break out the guillotine in short order.

Hahahaha. A guy was just arrested in Lansing by Kane Co Police for a case that started in their county. He was caught with 80 pounds of weed and brought back to Kane Co for Bond Court. His bond was 5,000,000 (D). That guy is fighting to have his case heard in Cook County and not Kane.

He is just a low level expendable in that crew, gets to live free in the cartel house and takes the pinch if it comes and keeps his mouth shut. He will be bonded out and back in Mexico before the end of the month after a couple bail reduction hearings. Cartel doesnt wanna spend to much on this throwaway loser.

Very suprised at this low bond from judge Clancy. He’s a former ASA and married to a current ASA. I spoke to him just a couple years ago about the revolving door in the Cook County justice system, and he agreed as to how flawed it was. But then again I guess I should expect something like this from an Oak Park liberal..........what happened to you Mike?

Nice pinch and great success with the court time.

Here we have Dreamer who had dreams of living large, enjoying the capitalism.
Built his empire up from the ground one nickel at a time.
The city (and state) could benefit if they sold that weed, hiring FamiliaGooterrez as the exclusive peddler.
GMac stated in a WBBM interview* that cartels are using legal weed as a way to launder money and weed into the USA.
Not a surprise if you follow the money trail and business entities.

But just how safe is Gooterrez, in Cook County?
Somebody’s safe house was racked, weed and money was taken.
Gooterrez be getting his DartQuik I-Bond could be the best thing.
Guess if he makes it in the clear, he will have to move back to the big Section8 city.
Somewhere along Cicero Ave corridor.
Welcome back to Sanctuary.

Dream on.

*OT:
GMac was on just WBBM At Issue this morning.
He sounded impressive and qualified, didn’t offer up any bs like a run of the mill Democrat.
Crank Delimore was really pressing the community and race issue.
Little time given to expand on the Gmac platform.
At Issue will probably feature Vallas, Wilson and the others in weeks to come.
Rahm is predicted to avoid any one-on-one unless it’s on his terms.
Forget about him on a debate stage.
Give it a listen on the worldwide internets - wbbmnewsradio.com.

If they legalize weed in Illinois, and I suspect that if JB wins this November that will happen, many people with weed convictions on their record will get an expungment and people serving time for possessing weed will file for a release from prison. This is happening in Oregon,Washington and California.

=========
Do you not get that individual judges have very little leeway in how much bond is set at? There is a set of rules that determines what the bond is going to be and the judge has to follow that.

At one point almost every judge was an ASA early in their career. That’s no big deal being a former ASA. Then basically to become a judge you have to be slated by the Democratic Party. That’s when things begin to change
I’ve seen many ASA’s even a few supervisors get slated, get elected and then their views begin to change. My guess they are beholding and the Cook County court system doesn’t have the space to hold the arrestees. It’s all politics and currently the Cook county president wants the bonds lowered and more prisoners released pending trial. That was related to the chief judge who then passed that done to the judges. This should be no surprise

I see San Fransisco is thinking about allowing safe "shoot up" galleries. So the "opiate challenged" individual can inject dope without overdosing. Why stop on legalizing weed? Having worked in this shit hole for too long it's interesting to me how crack cocaine is taking a back seat to heroin. Marijuana & alcohol are the true gateway to hard drugs. Not opiate pills.

Funny (really sadly) that more people die of "legal" alcohol related deaths a year in American than from any other substance. I guess you want cannabis related deaths to join the parade.

Funny, how someone who, presumably, does not consider him/her self a "snowflake", is, somehow, saddened by the speculative cause of death and not by the absolute certainty that something will be the cause of all death.

This implies that this saddened someone values the quantity of not being dead is of greater value than the quality of being alive.

This also implies that this saddened someone deems the quality of being not prevented from choosing one's means of both living and dying is a quality of living less valuable than a greater quantity of not being dead, yet.

Seems this snowflake is dreading even the thought of inevitable death, by whatever means it occurs.

Quantity of life is finite.

Quality of living is each individual's to define, choose and act upon.

Delay death long enough and the cost will be yours to experience.

Avoid living to the quality you define and you may as well be dead.

Attempt to impose, by whatever means you choose, your definitions upon another, and you may well find reconsidering your choice to be condusive to extending your quantity of living to it's most lengthy, and miserable, lingering termination.
