Just a tiny little bit:
- Slum Times - A 20-year-old woman was charged with spitting on an off-duty Chicago Police officer outside a City Council meeting last month where demonstrators rallying against the construction of a new police training academy clashed with members of the Fraternal Order of Police who were staging their own protest.
On May 23, Penny Hawthorne walked up to the officer and started yelling “vulgarities” at him, according to Chicago Police. She continued the tirade while walking alongside him and then spat on his left cheek.
The Tribune fesses up to being the employer of dear ol' Dad:

realistically it is a single incident. Filing multiple complaints about it just gives them a reason to ignore the complains because they can legitimately claim there is a coordinated effort to file multiple complaints about the same incident. one complaint is all it takes, and is probably far better than 50 complaints about the same thing. either they will take it serious or they won't. or they may have no policy about discipling students for things that happen outside of the school.

ChiTown Sue and the people of her ilk rely on filming in public buildings where the public is allowed to walk. That is on the sidewalk of a any public building and inside main floor areas of most public buildings, not in court houses. They hav been arrested before and I am not aware of any adjudication in their favor. A police parking lot for department and officer's personal vehicles is not a public area where the public is permitted. She can and should be arrested for trespassing. Hopefully there are signs posted of no trespassing. When officers attempt to film her with their personal cell phones Sue threatens them with a FOIA request for their cell phones. Let her file it. She will not get the contents of you personal cell phone because you are not using if for your job. Sue is an ahole and is rude and swears at officers, insults them and calls them names. I wonder when the department is going to protect its officers by walling off most of the desk area and putting up bullet resistant glass on the desk.

Special Ed and Triccio do not get along. They haven't since he was Chief of OCD and dumped one of Big Head Eds buddies. Triccio was put in there purposely by rahm to be a thorn in Eds side. The hope was that Ed would leave. Triccio gets a morning call every morning at 0700 from Rahm to discuss the last 24 hrs.
