Retiree Honored

  • Armed carjackers targeted a senior citizen who says they picked the wrong guy. The retired police officer pulled his trigger first.

[..] “The first guy came running at me, combat style,” recalled Robert Olson. Olson says when he was confronted by three carjackers in Bridgeport last April, he fired back. The retired police officer says he managed to pull his trigger first, killing the suspect. “You don’t really think about what you did. You react to the situation and that’s what happened,” stated Olson.

Olson served the city for 40 years and was recognized as Officer of the Month by the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation.
Of course, this again shines a spotlight on Peoples Defense Attorney Kim Foxxx's refusal to charge the accomplices with Felony Murder in the death of the armed carjacker. There are dozens of assholes serving lengthy prison sentences for situations very similar to this and there's absolutely zero reason that the two survivors don't bear as much of the responsibility as the dead hoodrat.

Any bets on if they've continued with their life of crime?

Everyone wonders why criminals reoffend. Nothing happens.

Good for Robert Olson for having the courage in handling that incident. God bless him.

Continued with their life of crime AND continued to support Kim Foxx.

I’ve imagine these dinner table conversations on the south and west sides: “I love Kim Foxx - I’m going to vote for her. She let your uncle out of prison.” Of course, the relatives of imprisoned are the same ones being victimized by some others who got the same restorative justice treatment.

The assholes involved prolly jacked an honest citizens car already--- prolly one a handful given Chicago is almost if not a few percentage points away from being modern day Sodom

Not charged because they were juveniles. There are thousands of juveniles in jail currently, many serving hefty sentences. I have no idea what is fair or not, thankfully my kids will never be in this situation, but it is a nationwide problem unfortunately. I am glad the retired officer is alive. He should have killed all of them in my opinion.

Great job, great man happy that it turned out in favor of the good guys! Then we have this, thought "crime was down?" The Tribune going against the norms, rahm is going to be mad at his pet publication:

As the number of carjackings in Chicago rises, so has the number of juvenile suspects arrested for it
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-met-chicago-violence-carjackings-juveniles-20180611-story.html

And from this excerpt the pos thug justify it:
“I like driving around. I like going fast,” said the teen, speaking on condition of anonymity because he’s out on bail for a separate arrest in connection with auto theft. “I feel good being with my hands behind the wheel because I know how to drive, and I drive good.”

Then this stellar clearance rate:
However, since so few carjackings end in arrests — only about 9.5 percent of the 2018 cases — it’s difficult to know for certain how large a percentage of the overall problem juveniles make up.

* So in Chicago you have a 90.5 chance of getting away without any punishment! This would be the result of the failed court system headed by Timmy Evans, and the completely failing county system headed by Kimmy and Toni who would rather the criminals go free! But then again the failure is in our own detective bureau, if the bosses there were in private industry with these dismal results they would be thrown out on the street the next day.

Type this into your search engine is Chicago safe to visit? and you can see, most replies are from last year and they say downtown area is safe, that was until now! Where is Ryan at? Is he still telling the hoodrats that if they come downtown they will be arrested? The propaganda lie?

Pulled his trigger first? Why today that would be a violation of the "new" Use of Force coming out.

Albert Willis Jr. 31 of Hopkins Park was charged with murder and burglary (subsequently convicted of the lesser charge of burglary) and given a 22 year sentence after his accomplice in a burglary, Heather Todd 31 of Demotte was shot and killed by James Brown 65 of Beaverville while fleeing in a car after stealing items from the farmers shed. Brown was charged with involuntary manslaughter and was acquitted by a jury of his peers.

http://www.daily-journal.com/news/local/brown-acquitted-of-killing--year-old-woman/article_59fd7fe1-ce55-5b0a-afee-8fba3c9f212a.html

That is what a states attorney is supposed to do, although Willis was found guilty of the lesser charge and is now out on parole, having served only half his sentence, he was at least off the street for 11 years.

Politicians fear for safety as threats against Congress skyrocket

He should be honored by the CCSA for saving the courts big money and headaches.
Though the Public Defender isn’t too pleased.

Think about it...
This would have sent CCSA Office into a scattered, unprepared hot mess, plus that barrage of paperwork, continuances and referrals for the lowly ASA’s and that would be just for one alleged violent armed defendant, who would probably on home monitor and subsequent FTA warrant.
Judges watching the tee times being bumped up and not always having the ability to duck early on the best of days.
The other two alleged violent feral weren’t the only ones to dodge a bullet.
CCSA, they’re just not used to getting a credible victim/witness that will most likely appear in court, on time, every time the case is called.

So ultimately, by the time the entire case had finally made it to the end with a plea deal no doubt, the alleged violent armed would have already completed any sentencing typical to that of the average gun toting defendant, stamping that docket: Time Served.

And the reward should be incremental as related to the number of entries on the bad guy's sheet with a base of $500 and $100 more for each entry. The amount of the reward will always be a surprise for the recipient. Cha-ching!

Oh, come on.....

How blatant can you get and still think you can sell your shit?

Attempting to entice a retired officer to "...take out one of these thugs."?

And from the taxpayers coffers?

Sanctioned by this current feckless, posse of politician prostitutes? (Okay, I admit, that was redundant...)

No enticements for not retired law enforcement officers, nor never been a law enforcement officer Joe or Jane Citizen?

No honoring them?

Why not just suggest a bounty be paid on just the heads of these thugs?

Hey, that actually would be worthy of both an award and a reward!!!
