Another Bloody Weekend
- Nine people were killed and at least 29 others were wounded in weekend shootings in Chicago.
Those numbers rose to ten dead and thirty wounded per HeyJackass.com.
And Sunday? Don't get us started about Sunday:
- Four people were killed and at least 18 others were wounded Sunday in shootings across the city.
Half of the victims were shot within the first four hours of the day, which began at 12:01 a.m.
A mass shooting early Sunday killed one person and wounded five others the West Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side. About 1:10 a.m., people were gathered outside in the 6400 block of South Eberhart when someone fired shots from inside a passing vehicle, according to Chicago Police.
Sunday probably outdid more than half the other weekends in a typical year. But remember - police are the problem. Once we fix them, rainbows will be everywhere.
And on a side note, This weekend surpassed 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014 in terms of planned funerals. Shootings were down slightly, but the accuracy was far higher.

I do ha w to say, the shootings may be down, but the percentage of deaths is up. 9 and 29 is a better % than the 9 and 59 weekends we’ve seen in weekends past. The self cleaning oven is getting more efficient.

When I joined CPD 32 years ago it was a very proud, fairly well run department. The overwhelming majority of citizens respected and appreciated us back then too.
Neither of those are the case anymore.

No coverage in the media but one of the deadly shootings in 7 was a CCL carrier defending himself. Luckily the citizen won the gun battle and survived being shot at and robbed.
From now on, every killing that could have been prevented with non-fetal policing will now be known as a "fetality."

So correct, rahms detail when you go over the budget cost 2.8 millions a year at the low end, plus fuel estimate for all his gas hogging xl vehicles is $55,000, plus new vehicle costs every year another $150,000. This pay could easily reduced but all the coppers on that detail are promoted without any test to sergeants pay rate,and 3 get commanders pay rate and vehicles to take home! The worst part is that also get that huge pension dip, draining the pension even more!
The black communities are where most of the bloodshed is happening, the "children" cannot even go outside without worrying about be shot and/or shot dead! While rahm being raised on the north shore and having no idea what violence is,as a matter of fact how many black and brown kids did he interact with in his exclusive high school? Hey SCC - Sunday's 23 (22 total shot, 4 fatally + 1 dismemberment) was the highest daily tally since August 20th, 2017 which racked up a record 36. In all, last year saw 20 days with counts of 20 or greater with most occurring between now and Labor Day weekend.

Saw the video. The Sgt chased him for a block. Question why didn’t he just drive that block and get to him quicker. His car was parked because the video camera filmed him running the block
