What Took So Long?

  • The deaths of a husband and wife, both 90, whose West Garfield Park apartment burned in February, have been ruled homicides, officials announced this week.

Aldonia White, a returned [do they mean retired? - SCC] nurse, died of multiple blunt force injuries from an assault with a contributing cause of death listed as heart disease, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said Friday.

Her husband, Lewis White, a veteran, died of inhalation of products of combustion due to an apartment fire with heart disease also a contributing cause. Both deaths were ruled homicides, the office said.

The fatal blaze on the second floor of a two-flat in the 4000 block of West Wilcox Street appeared to have erupted in more than one place, Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford said at the time of the blaze, which started about 3:10 a.m. Feb. 6.
Four-and-a-half months to determine blunt force injuries? What kind of operation are they running over there at the ME's office? So a murderer or murderers have had a walk for almost half the year with the investigation itself stalled? Unmoved?

And now HeyJackass.com has to go back and re-calculate all their numbers.

Does NOT surprise me. Nothing surprises me about Chicago anymore.

Next case. (and we ALL know there will be another one)

We don't want the ME's office to be overworked. They have to have time off for political rallies and marches etc.

With a 13% homicide clearance rate, which includes police involved shootings, homicide/suicide and CCW Self defense, does it really matter? And let's not blame the detectives for a second (I'm not one). The assault on law enforcement arguably hit the detectives first, with the false narrative of the ironically named "Innocence Project" of the lying Northwestern University professor and a complicit media. Detectives would have to be out of their minds to do anything to further these investigations. The Fox will assume you are a lying racist and look to put you in jail and free the offender.

We had this one down as a “death investigation”. It’s now +2 in the homicide column. Now maybe the ME could do something about the other dozen or so other suspicious deadly fires we’ve noted over the years.

Well, they deal with the dead, so, might be they figure, what's the hurry?

Wonder if any from that department will comment here.

A lot of the determination in an Arson Case rest with an Arson Detective. Through his/her expertise in determining the cause of he fire, they write the report classifying it as Arson or Accidental. That report is given to the Homicide Unit and that's what generates and drives the investigation. You don't need to wait for the ME's report to start investigating a determined Arson. All you need is the Cause and Origin Report and if it determines there was an Arson and there were injuries or deaths, the Homicide boy's run with the ball. Why I'm I even bothering with the explanation, we have a 14% Clear-Up Rate and that about sums it up.

All cop humor aside- sure is a disgrace when two people, in their 90s, have their lives ended in such a brutal horrific manner.....
What kind of HUMAN does this? All this liberal uproar about police- police reform, police corruption, blah blah......but the numbers show that the genocide of black lives is being done by black lives.......and not one outcry from the folks who pretend to care......

The Morgue is going through another managerial metamorphosis, again under the political management of “We Broke-Need Taxes” Toenail PrickWanker.
Reputations are being tarnished for the sake of Rahm/Special Ed’s dead numbers game. just plain old politics that brings more shame into that office and the usual excuses for more money for protected incompetents.
Nice paying gig I guess, but some don’t realize they have to tolerate elected officials dictating what’s a homicide and what’s undetermined vs. accidental. Murder Capital has to have a scapegoat ME besides just always blaming police for outrageous uncontrollable sanctuary social justice fueled death totals.

Getting back to B &A and Area Homicide, CFD Office of Fire Investigations has the primary role or component in determining origins, means and cause of the arsons. We follow up the death investigation with their findings, obvious spectulations aren’t allowed in Cook Co. We just take the blame for the death, not anyone in or affiliated with the Cook County Office of Restorative Justice, the ultimate and exalted emancipator.

What took so long?
Rahm’s public relation minions have weighed the possibilities as usual;
- Will this incident cast a shadow one the re-Election campaign, with the community, if we hide the facts until March 2019?
- Is there a serial community arsonist at large and the police are doing little to find the culprit?
- Has Toenail PrickWanker given her full support for our re-election campaign yet, if not can we them?

There are a million reasons that the determination was delayed. They don't rule a homicide until everything they are waiting for is in. This is poor reporting.

All the violence, seniors kids being kilt, but we have the new "Tommy house of jams" right next to "Tommy hot n quick felony pizza"

Cook County inmates call new jail recording studio 'a blessing'; officials hope it reduces recidivism
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-met-county-jail-recording-studio-opens-20180621-story.html
Morris, who’s spent more than a year behind bars awaiting trial on an attempted murder charge, said he’s grateful to be learning the technical aspects of sound engineering, even if he regrets that it took a stint in jail for this opportunity.

“It’s a blessing,” said Morris of the freshly painted 33-by-25-foot cinder block storage room, the result of fundraising efforts by local musician Antony Ablan.

So attempt murder, hey why not start a band, will Tommy since the jail is low of felons as they are being allowed out to prowl the streets and cause more murder and mayhem, will Tommy sell tickets and open it up for the democrats to jam out? We could have the MC being Tommy himself,Kimberly,Toni,Rahm with special appearances by the "50" stooges!

OT:

“The new officers are being hired as part of the CPD’s plan to add nearly 1,000 cops to the police force, according to Emanuel’s office. More than 2,400 CPD members have been hired or promoted as part of the department’s hiring plan, which started last year. That includes 1,600 new recruits, 77 lieutenants, 214 sergeants, 370 detectives and 213 field training officers who have entered the police training academy.”

Sometime next year, after hopefully helping daughter Jessica win election as the 30th Ward alderman, U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., who is not seeking another term this November, will move to Puerto Rico to redouble his efforts to rebuild the hurricane-devastated island.
“I was born in Chicago. I love Chicago. Chicago and I, we have a bond there. But I have to go back home. I have to go back to my other home. I have to go back there and rebuild that island,” Gutierrez told me Saturday.

Bet he is scared and cowardly of what will happen with his cheating ass! Maybe a federal investigation will finally take him down!Or could he be moving to get his share from the lying mayor there who got many millions thanks to President Trump that is unaccounted for?

Rep. Luis Gutierrez moving from Chicago to Puerto Rico next year

But first got to put his little girl in position who has zero experience just like her daddy who caused so many problems:
Gutierrez told me his first priority is electing daughter Jessica, who is challenging an incumbent, Ald. Ariel Reboyas (30th), an ally of Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

In every Perry F-ing Mason book I've read, credit is given by the author to a Harvard Medical School pathology professor. Dr. Paul Brouardel said: "If the law has made you a witness, remain a man of science: you have no victim to avenge, no guilty or innocent person to ruin or save. You must bear testimony within the limits of science." The ME's Office has very capable doctors on staff. I go back to the days of Dr. Stein and every chief ME since. They've all been criticized for various things, but refused to bow to political pressure or influences by attorneys. They remained fact-finders in the name of science.
