A warm Friday, rapid cooling for the weekend - and still, 25 people manage to get shot before the weekend is over:
- Shootings across Chicago since Friday evening have killed one person and wounded at least 24 others.
On Friday evening, eight people were shot between 5 p.m. and midnight, including two women caught in a triple shooting in Englewood on the South Side.
The weekend’s lone homicide happened Saturday night, ending a day when 12 other people were wounded in shootings.
It could be the last double digit weekend of 2018.

FOID holders can transport firearms in their vehicles but the firearm needs to be in a box and unloaded etc etc. Wouldn't be surprising if COPA "investigators" were in fact granted the privilage to carry on-duty. Eitherway, we can enforce the UUW statute but the final approval of the arrest report will never go through the WOL as phone calls will be made before you click the submit button.... Fast forward few weeks and next thing you know you're called into COPA in regards to a G.O. violation which was discovered on your BWC recording from a year ago. Pick your battles youngin'. Blinders on.
OT: Word on the street is that a PO was arrested in a suburb for a DUI and fighting with the pole lease possibly high on some nasty stuff. Not clear if it was a PPO or not but got stripped immediately.

Have you seen and heard some of these PPOs? Children who's view of the world comes from snapchat and memes. At this point we'd be better off with no police. I hope one tries to defend itself on here. Maybe it can get lecture us about community or Trump.

The FOID transport in a vehicle thing. The statute says "box or container" and legal precedent has ruled the glove box or console are both legal containers . Illinois Supreme Court ruled on that.
