This is an extremely hard year to get thru for the Chicago Police Department with all the tragedies, but ad an organization such as ours we will be able to endure and continue. Please remember that if things seem overwhelming for you that you need to talk with someone, whether it is a friend, family member or one of the outlets we have available.This does not show weakness or failure.
As I sat with my happy healthy family and opened presents I couldn’t help but get misty eyed to think of the families of the Brothers we lost this year and the harsh and numbing reality that their Loved Ones were stolen from them in 2018. Remember them in your prayers and cherish your family and your work family.
Please Lord comfort those family and friends who lost their loved ones who bravely gave their lives while serving the public. We will forever be grateful. God bless all of you.

Had a moment of perspective last night. I thought of leaving our Christmas eve gathering before midnight and missing my kids opening their gifts to get some shut eye before I had to push a beat car in the mmorning. I paused and thought to myself how I would be dishonoring the memory of our recently fallen brothers by missing this precious moment just for extra sleep. Of course, I stayed and recorded their smiles and excitement. Priceless!!!I know that it's difficult for some of us to do but try to put family first and the rest of your life will fall pretty much in line. I'm sitting in that beat car now and that sleep isn't being missed much but our fallen brothers sure are. Stay safe and Merry Christmas to all. God bless all of you.

Many coppers are sitting at call back because of him. As I write this I to am at call back based on false allegations that he approved from ipra.. till this day there are coppers at call back because of him. Too all the neighborhood that coppers live in please do not elect him as mayor. I don't want to see any officer go through what I had to go through.

A man who finds himself suddenly single is very lucky to find an educated, attractive, personable and younger woman from a good family to cast her lot with him. Whether or not he succeeds in his quest for Mayor, he had good fortune smile on him when she agreed to give him a chance. He is one lucky New Yawker.

Yea your right about that. That’s one thing I’ve never seen on the CPD , a boss or a po leave his wife for a younger woman. But I guess it was bound to happen. You say think about that, if you are CPD you see it everyday. I bet you are going to say in the future a po is going to leave their spouse for their partner
