So the FOP and numerous suburban police chiefs held a press conference last week, expressing "No Confidence" in Crimesha actually prosecuting criminals. Numerous people in the media and professional agitator business immediately called it racist because there weren't any black police chiefs around - which disregards the fact that the people suffering most when criminals don't serve time is ::surprise!:: other minorities.

- It was a counter-point to the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police press conference on Thursday in which dozens of suburban police chiefs expressed “no confidence” in Foxx’s management of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office with the Jussie Smollett case being one point of concern.
There was a problem this morning though. Despite promises made to the media, no police chiefs showed up to support Foxx. Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. organized the event but offered no explanation for the African American police chiefs' absences.
So an event, that was touted as support for Crimesha had exactly ZERO of her supposed supporters attend.

Of course excuses were made, and Crimesha's people claimed there was a "private meeting" two hours before hand and you'll just have to believe that all the chiefs expressed unwavering support for someone who is making their jobs next-to-impossible by not charging and imprisoning criminals.

Second, that means that only one of two things happened.
Foxx tried to dictate an agenda to the police, and the police said hell no. (Good for them)

I have news for you. If you listen to the interview with Fran Speilman (someone please fix her teeth) , LL is completely standing behind Foxx because People are just not ready for the radical changes Foxx wants to make and dont understand her. 1st of all if Foxx in fact “recused” herself, she would have filed the appropriate motion with the judge. Foxx, who continues to blame the FOP for manipulating the media, in fact has manipulated the media and the citizens of Cook County in to believing she recused herself. She never officially recused herself.
2nd why didn’t she ask that a special prosecuter be appointed. She is the leader of her office, meaning a special prosecuter should have been brought in, if Foxx was truly recusing herself. To the contrary, Foxx had her 1st assistant go in front of the cameras, act as if he was leading the way (where has he been?), even though he reports directly to Foxx. Not much of a recusal.
Lastly the truly disheartening part of Cook County States Attorney Kim Foxx's circus show, is that when you have been caught or when things aren’t going your way, you pull out the race card. Whenever you want to eliminate someone from a dispute, problem, or conversation, you play the race card. You are doing this because I am black. Then to attempt to add legitimacy to your argument, you parade out a group of race baiters, who have made a career of playing the same race card. JJ, Jamal, and Bobby Rush, that is what your going to offer the citizens of Cook County to support your cause for upholding and prosecuting the laws of the State of Illinois?
Then Foxx says that goalpost where moved. Not sure what Foxx meant, unless she was referring to Changing the criminal statute in the State of Illinois. Such as increasing the minimum dollar amount of a felony retail theft, changing the amount of times that a offender needs to be convicted in order to upgrade a charge to a felony, failing to prosecute those who continually fail to obey the laws while operating a motor vehicle (like the offender in ISP Trpr. G. Ellis case, who if prosecuted according to the statute may not have been on the street, therefore unable to take the life of Trooper Ellis) , or continual reduction of charges to a lesser crime (including large quantities of narcotics, weapons, and carjacking charges) in order to secure a conviction (for the conviction stats that are paraded out at election time) and although the law may go away soon, it is currently on the books, because the citizens elected officials as their voices, who have not changed the laws, cannabis charges that police have been told do not bring to court or attempt to prosecute. I think those are enough examples of truly moving goal post.
As a tax payer of Cook County, to watch our elected prosecuter get up on a stage, surrounded by greedy racebaiers, who are looking to publicity and to line their pockets, and to offer nothing of substance as explanation for not doing the job she swore to do, other then throwing out the race card, is a insult to every hard working, tax paying, citizen of Cook County. If you have been a victim of a crime, where you watched the offender walk on charges, simply because Kim Foxx feels these charges are not worth prosecuting, you should be livid and feel victimized by the very elected official who took a oath to defend the citizens of Cook County. I think the guy in the other post's comment section nailed it, black chiefs don't like what Foxx is doing but they don't want to get caught up in the racial equivalent of MeToo so they're laying low. Can't say I blame them.
If you want to puke look at at the Cook County States attorney web site. The utter hypocrisy and lies by Foxx. It also reads like a campaign ad and should be taken down immediately as a conflict of interest. Thank God we can vote her out in 2020. Start looking for a job now Crimesha, your done.
