He got a one million dollar grant for a technology center that was going to revitalize Englewood that failed but happened to lose all the records on what happened to the money. A bank sued him for $500,000.00 for back property taxes. The ethics commitee has investigated him for family members in questionable practices and misuse of campaign funds. He has received $32,630.00 in taxpayer funds. The list goes on and on too long to publish here. These "play rev-runs" (Jackson, Sharpton i.e.) certainly know how to game the system. How dare he, call out the FOP and Chicago Police officers. Foxx do your job and investigate this scumbag.

I wish we could all just unify and try to fight crime together like in the old days. Sure things were not perfect but todays climate is toxic, my soul is in distress and I can see how my partner's policing has changed for the worst.
I fear it may be to late to recover from this negative energy.

I thought justice is or should be meted out objectively, without any fear or favor, regardless of money, wealth, power, or identity; blind justice and impartiality.

I hear you and I've been there.
My suggestions: Stay off social media and this blog for a while. It only makes things worse. Pray. A lot. Turn off the TV. Stay away from toxic people. Turn off the phone when you need to. Open a book. Confide in a therapist or good friend. Go for a walk in the park with your dog. If you don't have a dog, visit the shelter. Listen to some good music. Spend time with friends.
All is not lost, but it takes some time to be able to walk away and forget. Your mental health takes some effort.
There are people out there that care. Strengthen your support system.
Hang in there and there will be a light at the end if the tunnel when you can leave and become human again. I promise.
