Lori Reviews VIP Limo
Just an amusing aside. Seems back in 2017, the mayor-to-be had a less than stellar experience with VIP Limousine and wrote to yelp! about it.
More amusingly, the owner/operator wrote a pretty scathing reply, pointing out the limo driver was professional, on camera, and the company provided upgrades free of charge.
Wonder if Lightgroot is going to sic the license and business inspectors on him?

WOW! What a bitch. It appears as if she lied as well, because the company is confident that the driver never left his car to "piss" due to cameras confirming this.
A few years ago before she was running for Mayor I saw her being interviewed on one of the news channels for her “expertise” on something. She had a blazer on that looked like it had been balled up on the floor of her closet since the 70’s, and when the camera panned out she had raggedy ass jeans on with gym shoes! At the time I thought what an unprofessional slob. Now she’s the Mayor of the City of Chicago. Pitiful.

What no DNA on toilet seat? Credit card denied is the real story here, all the rest is he said she said. Guess I am not surprised about the credit denial as she is a Democrat and they have that annoying tendency to spend more than they earn. But the credit card company should be taken to task for not understanding that the overspending is a mental illness and needs to be accommodated.

Wow, that wasn’t even two years ago......her tenure as Mayor should be interesting.
Hope VIP is from the suburbs as the owner who responded will get a lot of city flack. Hope he documents it and uses it against her. This might turn into a popcorn event since he had the balls to stand up to her. LOL.
Has CPD gotten any orders to crack down on a certain LIMO service recently? If not those orders will be forthcoming. If and when they do and any CPD officer that responds in a positive manner should rot in hell.
Willing to bet that all approximate city inspectors will be paying many visits to a VIP limos. Not good idea to pies on the queens throne.
As an English teacher I would give that review a grade do D.

I wonder how she ever got through law school. Her writing is characterized by incomplete sentences, fragments of sentences, mispellings, inappropriate use of socially unacceptable words, and verb tenses that do not agree. Maybe she got a Merit Diploma.

I have to admit, that is an awesome review! If things happened the way she said they happened then why would you talk sit about her?!? I’d be pissed as hell too if this jerk behaved this way with my daughter. Anyone who has a daughter would understand. If she got some words misspelled then so what. Like none of us has ever written something out in anger or frustration and totally messed up our grammar. I get that she’s the new mayor and should be “perfect” in our eyes but she’s only human. Just like we all are. We make mistakes. Grow up people.

I guess when Leftfoot writes Yelp reviews, she doesn't get the "heavy editing" assistance she got in college, and it certainly shows.
Hilarious!
Even if things happened exactly as she claims, the fact that she - a powerful politician in Chicago - felt the need to put in a bad Yelp review speaks VOLUMES about her lack of perspective. A few words to friends and aides would have done FAR more damage to the business, and a quiet call to the owner would probably have gotten the driver fired, but wouldn’t have satisfied her need to publicly humiliate the poor driver.
Worse yet, her Yelp review includes a clear - but not very flattering - picture of her face, which instantly outs “Lori L” as the (at the time) future mayor of Chicago. Here’s a tip for the new mayor: when you’re in a position of power, it is always better to praise publicly and punish privately - that makes you look like a generous and merciful leader. Lashing out at a near-minimum-wage limo driver makes you look petty and vindictive.
CPD had better prepare for some scathing Yelp reviews in the near future....

If you’re going to post on this blog, do your homework and know what you’re talking about. If you read the ENTIRE review you would have seen the company’s response to her review. Just like all Social Justice Warriors, her version of events were fabricated and there’s video to prove it. Glad I don’t live in Chicago, because she’s a classless moron who is going to be a hunk of steaming stinking funk as Mayor.

Except there is video that disproves her statements. So why assume it happened as she stated? As far as her writing, I can't believe you let that go. Is that what you say to your kids when they do poor work in school? Sure no one is perfect but this isn't just one error either, it's a complete mess. Today it's common to see gross errors from so called professional journalists and they don't even correct it when it's pointed out to them. But that's OK too, according to some. No accountability is OK and that's what you are saying with your post. She is suppose to be a professional, she has an advanced degree and writing something simple like this should be very easy for her. This looks like a young kid wrote it. Or perhaps she was highly intoxicated. Still I think she could have gone back and edited her review when she sobered up. Proof your work, paragraph. It's just common sense. So angry you make a fool of yourself? If she can't control her anger while writing a Yelp review she has no business being mayor or being in a professional position. A smart middle schooler could have done much better than this. It's a reflection back on the person writing the piece. She has her name and photo on her profile and this makes her look stupid in a myriad of ways. Then she didn't respond back to the well written response. Why? That made her look even worse.
And just like that, there is the moniker.
