More Misconduct?
Who is running the Academy? This is permitted by members of your command now?
- [the officer] who works at the academy who last week refused to stop for the police in 007 then led them onto the expressway where he continued then eventually stopped. He refused to show his police ID. Refused to show a DL and insurance and bordered on a threat to the officer as the stop ended. A CR number was generated but the high up bosses are already saying that it should just go away and more than likely just a misunderstanding.. after all, he is connected I hear from the rumor folks. This is the kind of guy we want in the academy having contact with and potentially training our recruits?? I hear, but not sure that the entire thing is caught on body camera. If we are seeking transparency then this one needs to stay alive and not be swept under the rug if it’s a true incident.
Oh, it's the un-indicted Johnson twin in charge. So he's no stranger to corruption, "merit" and covering up connected misbehavior. We wonder what would happen if the mayor found out. Is she really a "reformer"?

There is a very anti police, very militant copper in the Police Marine unit who does the same thing and when he is stopped claims the race card and pulls it out. Won a big money suit about 8-10 years ago for discrimination and is worse then ever. A real hater.

You can't just FOIA a BWC camera. There are very few exceptions allowing BWC FOIA requests and someone just committing a crime isn't one of them.

Either way bad day or not you’ve got act correct and at least show your DL and insurance. I can understand, a lot of us get stressed, running late etc and the slightest thing can just blow up and we temporarily snapped.. heck, I’ve done it. Not giving the guy a pass but don’t forget there are two sides to every story and we don’t know why this guy was acting in the way he was.

So a friend at IAD says a CL number came in on an unidentified Captain who was accused of sexual assault by a young lady who showed up at the hospital. The Captain and his (alleged) victim are grad students together at SXU. Area North and IAD are investigating.

Doesn't your academy have on-site auditors per the terms of the consent decree? This incident seems relevant to answering the federal question of CPD accountability.
Spt johnson came into current SGT training and said the next SGT test first part will be September and second part in February
Any bets as to "what would happen if the mayor found out?"

I worked in IAD for a few years. Complaint investigations files would go straight to the department advocate and then right to the superintendent.Few others were allowed to read the files. The investigations, for the most part were buried. Sometimes the gold star was demoted a rank, but no one was suspended or fired and I mean some of these files were indictable crimes.

The academy has ALWAYS been the place to assign or detail kizzazzz politicos, girl and boyfriends, sons, daughters and play babies, zuckazzes of all types....all incompetent, without credentials, and lazy. A lot of them even think that because they are there that they really know how to train and teach. And you wonder why PPOs are dummer than sh*t? Look at who is running the place.... Prime example is the assistant director of R&D who disappeared for DAYS when assigned to 124. Lied about being a teacher when really a Park District day camp worker. Auntie Anita covered it all.

Notice how police reformer/restorative justice advocate Supt Eddie Johnson has been notably silent of the misconduct of Kenneth and Kevin Johnson. Kevin has a lot of dirt on him.
What's going on with the pay for promotion scandals? The NOBLE -Eugene Williams cheating scandals? The Ron Watts/Fred Waller team hiding out in Area South? The Captain alleged to have sexually assaulted a college classmate? The lieutenant /suburban police chief who's on leave of absence following serious allegations of on/off duty misconduct?

Many scandals swept under at the Academy...They have one P.O. MH that is a known serial sexual harasser of recruits. Finally gets caught sexually harassing a female recruit with too many witnesses to deny it. Is given the gift of 5 Days with no objection from him then has been moved around different Academy sections to hide him. The standing order is that he is not allowed to instruct recruits so they hide him at one of the Areas where he still comes in to contact with the same recruits from the Academy. He also can only work days per same order. (Apparently one SGT had the nerve to put him on 1st Watch where he needed help and was told to back off, days only for him pal). They have been desperate to find him a skill so that they can keep hiding him and justify him being at the Academy. He's been ghost pay-rolling for close to two years now. Apparently he's in the same Fraternity as several Exempts. None of the Supervisors want him but they will not reassign him like they should have. Another Instructor female this time starts dating a recruit of hers (completely against direct order policy for instructors). The recruits girlfriend finds out and commits suicide. Academy stonewalls the girls family of the incident. Instructor then gets promoted to SGT. Zero tolerance Eddie J zero tolerance right unless they are a Frat bother...Oh and there is another serial sexual harasser in the wings that's being protected. So If I were those cops that just got caught up getting fired or charged with sex crimes all they need to do is point at where they learned it...The Academy
