Well This is Awkward
- A man who recently worked for an organization dedicated to nonviolence is facing an attempted first-degree murder charge after being identified as the alleged gunman in a shooting last year in West Garfield Park.
Cornelius Moss, 30, who lives in the West Side neighborhood, allegedly shot a 24-year-old man while the younger man was stopped at a red light Oct. 16 in the 400 block of South Kostner, according to Cook County prosecutors.
Prosecutors said surveillance video from a nearby BP gas station showed Moss retrieving a gun from his own car before walking up to the other man’s car and firing multiple times.

These organizations which are dedicated to non-violence are made up of “former” gang members who have all been miraculously converted into fine, upstanding citizens. Or, maybe, the millions of dollars given to these organizations are thinly veiled payouts to the street gangs who get out the vote in their neighborhoods for machine candidates. He supports nonviolence for other people, not himself. It's almost as if the average criminal has no restraint and acts on impulse. Zero ability to see future events unfold, just acts in the 'now'.
If it feels good, do it.
Cornelius Moss? Sounds Asian. All of these anti-violence organizations are the same. They're made up of gang members, fake reverends, mothers of dead gang members, and old liberal morons. Nothing they do actually has any effect on gun violence, yet they keep making money to "stop the violence." It's all complete nonsense. And then things like this happen. What a surprise! Stop the violence, don't shoot, think of the children, etc., unless someone pisses you off or is a member of a rival gang. Then you can take it upon yourself to commit acts of violence, including murder, because you just meant that everyone else should give up their guns.
Did he work for the “Interruptors”? Well, shooting someone does tend to interrupt whatever they were doing before getting shot.
He fell off the wagon of his twelve step program.

Any of his supposed employers confirm that he recently worked for their outfits?
They have an obligation to hire or recruit a few from the community, but a substantial amount of the 501c revenues they collect go to the CEO, directors salaries and administrative staff. He was likely a day labor, come-and-go as you like, temp.
The real story is the ineffective and deceptive practices these tax evading organizations get away with.
Corndog Moss arrest will only delay the retaliation for a few weeks at most.
Monday’s Accountability Meeting (MAM) will be interesting...if L-L Shortshanks is back from the LA donor campaign trail.

Everyone in the city: please stay fetal. Let da Mayor respond to call, patrol the streets and run errands for everyday citizens. Socialism in effect.

Same story everywhere - here in Portland, Oregon, the head of the “community” anti-gun-violence organization had to bail out her teen-age grandson after he shot three people at a community street fair.
She was so busy preaching to other people how to keep their kids and grandkids out of trouble that she forgot her own family, I guess. The grandson’s mom was in prison for shooting somebody and the boy’s father was dead from a gang-shooting. I guess grandma is an expert on keeping kids out of gangs.
Oh darn I hate it when that happens. Was so close to a cure for cancer and now this.
Reminds me of that downstate gun grabber, Mom's Demand Action leader that shot the guy who beat up her son and paralyzed him. They couldn't get her name off their paperwork fast enough. Just more hypocrisy.

Those “peace” organizations are just another money grab for the “community”. It’s just another form of welfare handouts. As for the workers for this organization, none are reformed, just there for the free $$$ and business as usual.
Strange how much this happens. It's almost as if the entire 'violence interruption' model is a scam that puts money into the hands of criminals after giving everyone else a skim on the way there.
