- A Cook County judge made unwanted sexual advances toward a court reporter, made inappropriate sexual comments about a prosecutor and tried to kiss a police officer — a pattern of harassing behavior toward women, a state board that oversees judges said in a complaint Thursday.
The Judicial Inquiry Board charged that Judge Mauricio Araujo’s alleged conduct spanned from spring 2012 through fall 2018 and was directed “toward women with whom he has interacted in professional settings and in his official judicial capacity.”
Wait - from 2012? That was prior to #metoo, so it doesn't count?

This was every day with this idiot. There will be more. More officers, more court reporters, more Attorneys and now Deputies and Clerks are starting to speak out. Many have for years but no one did a thing.

These judges are screwing the public and crime victims, so why shouldn't they think they can abuse their employees with impunity too.
I am convinced that in order to be a judge in crook county you need to be of the highest ethical, moral and conscientious makeup!!! Understandable based on the fact that our politicians have a lot to say about who gets a bench and a robe and who does not!!!

Sadly, the non LEOs who can do something are working except at 50 hours plus a week to keep a roof over their heads, dealing with shitty commute, communist teachers and lines everywhere.
They are drop dead tired and too broke from too many taxes to stand. The others non LEOs are demonrats. They love it and are now visiting prisons listenimg to the lies.
Justice Burke will appoint him to a future vacancy.
It’s clear that the courts are out of control under Evans and Preckwinkle. They both need to go and take Foxx with them. Most of these judges do not deserve the position they have. Sick of what’s going on in Crook County.

Think about it. A judges salary relatively speaking is good. But compared to the salary of a top tier law firm it's not. The county is where you go after you get your degree from John Marshall junior college of law. If you got an ok phone call you become states attorney. If you know ed burke or the Daley family you become a judge. If you went to a real law school you go work for a good law firm and make more money.

Watch the 1st flr ..near judges elevator ,daley center count the early leavers...$200,000.. no pressure ...1-2 hr lunches....reason why alot stay into their 70s

How much did she pay for this coveted easy do nothing position? how many jobs did dart give in the 6 figure range for this media feeder to get this position? We have more questions than answers in the most corrupt county,city,state in the entire country. The feds are doing what again? standing down nicely!
