Poverty Crime Goes Nationwide!
- Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall drew the ire of citizens and law enforcement groups on Monday when she implied that society is to blame for forcing criminals who commit violent acts (video below).
“There are socioeconomic issues that are related to crime in individuals in this city,” Chief Hall said during a press conference discussing two recent homicides. “There are individuals in this city who have returned from prison who cannot find a job, who are not educated.”
“In those instances, those individuals are forced to commit violent acts,” the chief declared.
Ignorance like this doesn't just pop into existence. There are restricted blogs, twitter sites, online bulletin boards (JournoList to name one) that push the agendas like these. The fact that Chicago's mayor and Dallas's police chief come up with the same lib-tarded narrative within days indicative that these exist and are exploited by those unable to think for themselves to push the far left agenda.

There are plenty of low income people who don’t commit crimes.
So at this time it seems that people with a criminal mindset are running law enforcement.
The socioeconomic relations to crime are well-established. If you can get people good educations and jobs you will see a trend towards less crime. But no one is "forced" to knock over a liquor store. No one is "forced" to rape someone in a back alley. Maybe the chief thinks that all crime consists of people shoplifting bread loaves?

No one forced anyone to commit crimes. They did - they went to prison. While in Prison, they chose not to avail themselves of the library? Not my fucking problem, it's theirs. And going forward - stop letting people drop out of High School before they're 21. Stay there, work at it, GRADUATE or be entitled to nothing. In fact, if you turn 21 and haven't graduated, then you must get a GED. If you have neither, then the deal should be:

* No governmental assistance of any kind
* No ability to enter into contracts
* No leasing anything
* No ownership of titled property.
* No licenses of any kind, personal or professional.
* No bank accounts, no savings accounts, no credit cards.
* No one ought to be able to employ you. If they do so, the fine ought to be $100,000/day/employee to the employer, without any set-asides, abayances, reductions, etc. Pay it now or go out of business.
You want to be a slug? A non-productive part of society? Fuck you then. You get none of the benefits of participating in society. And if that drives you to crime, so be it. Go straight to prison and stay there.

Correct. And that would be the proper argument for them to make, but because they’re all pandering and they’re knowledge of any of this is only about twitter deep, they say dumb stuff like they do. There’s no doubt overall crime is higher in poorer neighborhoods, but there’s also plenty of law abiding people there too. You can give everyone who lives in 011 or 015 or 007 $85,000 a year no strings attached, and it will make things infinitely worse. Give a hype $85,000, and most will probably be dead in short order from overdosing. Giving uneducated, unstable, emotionally stunted, people with no moral compass free money doesn’t help them, it hurts them. As we’ve seen for generations in the ghettos. Went to Secretary of State office to get drivers license renewed with the bullshit gold star so we can use for travel throughout country starting September 2020, told you can’t fly without it unless you have a passport. Then find out home address must match even though I’m Cpd, and allowed by law to use station address, so was told in that case I can get regular license and will have to get a passport to fly anywhere then I see this :

So let’s think, emmm, what could the solution be, hmmm, I know! More government and more government handouts.
Maybe actual facts should be considered. After all, if they want to pick and choose their own metrics for crime, why can’t we join them? How about we compare the total number of people below the poverty line against the number of people in that same category that commit violent crime? Furthermore, how about we compare the number of people who legally own guns against the number who legally own guns and commit violent crimes with guns? I would even gladly welcome a subset of legal gun owners who are also NRA members against legal gun owners/NRA members who commit violent crimes. I suspect the answers to these questions will not fit their chosen narrative.
And who "forces" them, chief? Why aren't all the other unemployed people committing violent crimes? Is someone picking and choosing who to force into committing crimes? Why are they only forcing the black and brown ones to commit violent crime? Socioeconomic conditions decide to apply themselves to people based on race? Fucking stupid.

I'm pretty sure you can only use the station address on your vehicle registration. Your license still has to have your home address.
625 ILCS 5/6-106(a-5), "Application for license or instruction permit."
If the applicant for a driver's license is a judicial officer or a peace officer, the applicant may elect to have his or her office or work address listed on the license instead of the applicant's residence or mailing address. The Secretary of State shall adopt rules to implement this subsection (a-5). For the purposes of this subsection (a-5), "peace officer" means any person who by virtue of his or her office or public employment is vested by law with a duty to maintain public order or to make arrests for a violation of any penal statute of this State, whether that duty extends to all violations or is limited to specific violations.

Yes, that idea works to walk around safely at night on the streets in the poorest areas of West Virginia. Try doing that late at night. in the poorest areas of Chicago, which don't even compare to the poverty levels of WV.
