Convicted Felons Released

THIS is what GoogleMe should be doing all the time:
  • “As of this afternoon, 11 of the 19 individuals arrested on gun charges over the weekend by #ChicagoPolice are already out on the street. 7 of the individuals were previously convicted felons and 6 had prior gun offenses in their backgrounds.”
The linked article is the CWB blog pointing out numerous instances of Cook County courts releasing felons on I-bonds or low bail amounts despite their tendency to ignore the conditions of said bond. The fact that a blog has to do this is pretty sad.

This should be Exhibit A in any critique of crime and disorder problems and should be Job #1 of any real Police Superintendent (and his media people) looking to defend the job his Department does in spite of Crimesha's / Dart's / Evan's efforts to bail out every criminal under the sun.

I enjoy pointing to arrest I had which asshole was cooking meth, the cook went bad and blew up on him, the hotel room he was at turn to shit. 2 days later detectives when to the hospital he was getting his wounds doctored let him out 30 minutes prior. Asshole catches a cab driven by a pensioner trying to make ends meet. When he lands at his final destination, he precedes to lay an ass beating on the old man... lucky for the old man some younger guys intervened. Long story short, asshole gets 3 years and parole in 1 year. I looked up asshole the other day and he has gained 60 pounds since November. Eating well off the tax payer. But seriously, that is the kinda people democrats want around honest people. Shit, retire today and get an assbeating a few months down the road. No enjoying your pension in the later years.

What is the explanation of releasing a convicted felon with a gun violation back onto the streets, we need more people shot and killed? OK so these multiple arrests of felons, when they finally reach trials are they getting extended time in prison or are they just being put on double secret probation by the people and folks states attorneys and judges??? IF THEY ARE BEING PUT OUT ON THE STREET WHY DOESNT THE FUCKING STATE LEGISLATURE TAKE SOME TIME OUT FROM RAISING FUCKING TAXES AND DO SOME FUCKING THING FOR A CHANGE! democRATS fucking every voter one at a time over and over and over = illannoy

The fact that, during now exmayor rimjob and now current mayor tweedle dee, these things are so blatant, merely indicates that no improvements, aka the stemming of the slaughterings, are now possible.

Taxpayers who did not even attempt to vote in the first round, when it mattered, have fucked themselves into this.

Did not matter the shill showering in that first shot election.

Turnout was shit, as usual.

Only result was the one on one runoff between asshole and dumbass.

Dumbass being least shitty, but, still crapola.

One of the “victims” from the double murder at North Ave/Lasalle the other day was out on parole.

I believe BOTH of the offenders from the mother murder that had the video released were on parole.

If you check the Majors for victims- many are out on parole.
When arrests are made for violent crimes (murder, agg/batt, vehicle hijacking, UUW), a vast majority are on parole at the time of the incident.

CPD identifies the individuals driving the violence in this city, and does their best to hold them accountable.
They are released back to the streets without serving their sentence, only to re-offend again, or to become victims themselves.

Something has to be done, and a light needs to be shined on this “early release” nonsense.

And Paul Manafort a 70 year old man was sent to prison for non violent white collar crimes and is going to be sent to the notorious Rikers Island NYC and placed in solitary. And in the story from Duluth,Mn. a man is arrested in a heroin raid who is from Chicago out on bond for murder. Who is the bigger threat to the public. According to the Democrats Manafort is.

He is going public about how violent gun offenders and violent offenders, in general, are being placed on EM or I-bonds. I think they all realize what a shit show crime enabling environment they have created and now they are trying to find the best way to save face. Its very easy. Bring back appropriate bonds and let the police be the police without fear of getting stripped for doing our jobs. Let their be consequences for criminal activity and things will magically calm down a bit.

The democratic machine is powerful in this state, as everyone should know. There is very little disagreement between agencies. How many times have you seen the police superintendent say anything against the prosecutors or judges or sheriff or even city hall? You will see those things happen in other cities, but never in this town. Now you can add the racial angle, where it isa very bad thing for one black person in power to criticize another in power. You have seen this in the people who have come to the defense of Kim Foxx and Preckwinkle.

Why don’t some of the arresting officers toss a quiet phone call into the BATF when you catch a felon in possession of a firearm? They have a 90 plus percent conviction rate for this. Some local ATF agent would love the collar, the local Fed Prosecutor gets a slam dunk conviction, and Feral Dirtbag goes to Club Fed for 5 years of hard time.

Don’t do it through official channels. Just pick up a cell phone and toss in a call. Let ATF Agent know when and where the Court appearance is and let nature take its course.

Thank you so much for linking to one of THE best Crime in Wrigleyville and Boystown blogs.

http://www.cwbchicago.com/2019/06/repeat-gun-offender-free-on-bail-for.html

This one blog shows the personal tragedy side of Chicago's slide in to criminal anarchy and terrible corrupt, pro criminal one party Dem rule.

Joseph Stalin is in my opinion the dominant political figure of the 20th century, his very cynical, extremely powerful personal/wold view is presented in Orwell's 1984.

Stalin was brutally honest in what works and doesn't work in reporting terrible deaths/murders:

"In the days when Stalin was Commissar of Munitions, a meeting was held of the highest ranking Commissars, and the principal matter for discussion was the famine then prevalent in the Ukraine. One official arose and made a speech about this tragedy — the tragedy of having millions of people dying of hunger. He began to enumerate death figures … Stalin interrupted him to say: “If only one man dies of hunger, that is a tragedy. If millions die, that’s only statistics.”

“If only one man dies of hunger, that is a tragedy. If millions die, that’s only statistics.”

We - the honest minority left behind in increasingly criminal anarchy Chicago can quote statistics like those done on "Hey Jack Ass" - we can try to convince those in Conservative Inc in other states, Washington to please, PLEASE intervene because our statistics accurately report the horrible statistics that Chicago has 3,000 plus annual shootings and ~ 600 annual murders and ~ 88% of murderers get away with their murders. These are terrible statistics, but they do not reach the hearts and minds of important people who can made a difference.

So instead we need to report the TRUE individual crime stories that make the issue personal.

Political consultant Lee Atwater erased a 20 % deficit in the polls to elect George Bush Sr. over MA Governor Mike Dukakis by feature the one individual crime and punishment story of Willie Horton (of course Bush Sr abandoned the crime issue when he was President).

The Willie Horton Crime and non punishment story was personal. One individual crime tragedy.

The Antawan Smith story of a habitual Chicago violent gun criminal is personal. Our leftist, BlackLivesMatter system let Antawan Smith out of jail, whereupon he proceeded to murder someone. That's reality in Chicago - we need to spread this/these personal crime stories.

I respond:

Yes, Absolutely! This is called "Doxing" - publishing the name and personal information of a political enemy. The most extremist Leftists (Antifa, BlackLiesMatter, Media Matters, SPLC) do this all the time and it is very effective. The goal is to ruin a political opponents personal life, get them fired from their job, get their friends and family to disown them..

I think you are referencing the time when the Fake News Media published the home address/neighborhood of (innocent) Officer Wilson in Ferguson MO to tip off local Leftist/Black mobs to attack Officer Wilson's home, attack his family.

I took this personally and noted the names of the #*$&# Chicago based reporters who did this doxing and I doxed them, printed their names and their personal home address. I included strict instructions not to do anything violent or illegal, but it was OK to put the word out to local police, neighbors what terrible people lived in their neighborhood. These reporters and really the rest of the Fake News, mainstream media backed off harassing Officer Wilson and his family (other people besides me were doxing these as* hop* reporters.

OK, so doxing does work - we have to learn the very effective, down and dirty tactics of the worst Leftists in our City/State/Country. Being all nice and conservative, or falling for Right wing gun fantasies - that doesn't work

Key word there for the aviation guys is, “unarmed”. And it’s not that he was charged for not doing more, he was charged for doing absolutely nothing. Like, at all. The only way he could’ve done less is if he happened to be sleeping at the time. Since columbine, country wide procedure is go in, don’t wait for swat. I feel bad for the guy, but I can’t blame the parents and everyone else who are mad at him either. Bad situation he was in an incredibly tough spot, and he fucked up royally.

Making every effort to tax, document and hold accountable every law abiding citizen yet the violent armed feral are left alone without any burden but a few hours of inconvenience.

Mighty quiet on the Cook County front on a whole. The Swollette Fed case should be coming up too.
Dart planted his foot in the take-over ambition. Who knows, there maybe a light at the end of the lawless tunnel.
But it could be just a ruse, a spoiler distraction in case a real law and order candidate pops up.
Nobody likes Dart, another white Dem or two and a low white plurality turnout ensures a Foxxx re-election.

CWB is doing the truth and some don’t like that. You would think the area it serves would be reading it.
As for the GigglyYearling, he isn’t allowed to post felons on the Dept feed, it’s against SpecialEd’s house rules.

I recall back in the ‘90’s the District tried to rehash the old “perp walk” from decades gone by, to bring the felony arrestee into the roll call room to get the beat car aquatinted with repeat offender.
It was quickly eliminated (again) because it created a negative bias. Can’t name names or post images that highlight disparity.

Felons are people too, some even vote or can influence votes.

You talk big little lady but you own all the murders in Chicago. Ed and the Mutts are just following your guidance and direction. You talk about accountability of others but not yourself. The equation is Crime equals money The more crime there is the more they can cry about it and Beg for money for funding this program and that program. The democratic way has always been if there’s a problem you need to throw money at it The only way to do that is to raise taxes The money always seems to disappear yet the taxes keep going up and no problems are solved But the legislators voted in a raise for themselves It must be a reward for all their hard work in making sure that the jails are empty and all these repeat offenders are free on the street to keep committing more crimes And that is a police problem apparently Until criminals are actually held accountable for their actions the situation is only going to get worse But apparently accountability only goes one way The police officers are the only ones that are held accountable for everything they do there are no consequences for committing crime anymore The justice system is no longer a deterrent for crime

You obviously don’t deal with the states attorney office. They won’t charge slam dunk UUW cases yet you want all these gang banger murders solved? The clearance rate is what is because we are one of the only departments with the felony review process as strict as it is. Witnesses have to voluntarily come into the station and wait around for 6-8 hours so a states attorney can make 10 calls to their boss and then make a decision. Don’t have 3+ cooperating witnesses with little criminal background ? No murder charges. You can have all the video and circumstantial evidence you want, end of the day, ASAs don’t know how to take a case to trial without the witnesses. As for Agg Batt and robbery, if the victim won’t prosecute, no case.

Everyone wants to hate on the detectives, but like most things in this city, not everything is solely the polices fault.

OT: municipalities are moving to encrypted radio transmissions. Once that happens, we'll never get the current truth as the brass will totally hide everything. FOIA requests will take months

Thoughts?

What is going on with a retrial for Jackie Wilson. It has been one year since Judge William Hooks ordered his release.

I agree with just about everything said in these posts. But, one issue remains; the very low solve rate for murder in this town. And, what is the arrest rate for agg battery? Robbery? There needs to be an independent investigation of the detective division by outside sources to include interviews with detectives, the supervisory structure, how supervisors and commanders are assigned and what qualifications are looked at. Stop the political gamesmenship and cronyism and racial politics. Fix this.

If victims and witnesses won't cooperate, what do you suggest detectives do? You can't bring charges if the person shot won't prosecute.

Hey superhero when’s the last time you cleared a case. I use to think like you. You are obviously a civilian. After I made detective I saw the huge uphill battle it takes to clear a case. Think about this DNA evidence takes 18 months or so to get back. You want police to run in and charge people with crimes before evidence is back? That is just one obstacle.

An effort to get Manafort to flip or make something up on Trump

although I think this former deputy is a coward, what the government did to him will never stand in the long run. A Florida jury might convict him, but surely it will be dismissed in the appeals process. Police officers have never been held to a legal standing to protect anyone, at anytime. That is a department standard, not a legal one. But, his legal costs will bankrupt him..

I think two things. 1 he was afraid 2 He did not know what to do and was waiting for help. Waiting for help and securing the perimeter used to be our policy. Legally charged way over the line.

To the writer that thinks an outside investigation into detectives for failing to make arrests for violent crimes;

When the victims (usually gangbangers too) and their neighbors refuse to cooperate with law enforcement, what would you suggest the officers do?

If you make an arrest and subpoena witnesses and their memories are absent of the events, what would you suggest they do?

If you have the solution, you could get wealthy by teaching the folks how it’s done.

For now, hopefully they just keep killing each other and not CPD and innocent people.

On another note; why in the world would anyone oppose abortion? These thugs that reproduce will just keep filling cities with potential criminal cockroaches.

There is usually a poll for everything, what is the likelihood that the catered to time and again criminals, are actually going to vote?
Look at the last few elections, the total voter turnout is way below historic levels. Why cater to the mutts and fuck everyone else?
I just don’t understand it. ;)

Remember these judges next election. Remember them well. If you see their names on the ballot, don't hesitate to vote against them.

Madam Mayor, I hope you or one of your senior advisors read this. Toni Preckwinkle and her lackey Kim Foxx and the pro-criminal anti-victim anti-police policies that they have ushered in constitute the biggest obstacle standing between you and success. You will be held accountable by the people when crime seems to go on unabated. Yet the number one driver behind that trend is the Preckwinkle/Foxx agenda. Armed habitual criminals being released on $1000 bond on a gun case only to go out and murder someone??? And now the guy is being held "no bond". What was Judge John Lyke thinking? What's his response: "opps, my bad"??? He is simply following the orders handed to him from Chief Judge Evans and Chief Judge Evans is following the directives of Toni Preckwinkle and Anne Burke and Kim Foxx. It's absurd.

And trust me Madam Mayor, neither Preckwinkle, Foxx or Anne Burke are the least bit interested in seeing you succeed. They would both love to see you fail so that you'd be pushed out for one of their dem party fellow hacks. I hope you are seeing this and that you use your considerable power to eliminate the pro-criminal nonsense that has taken hold in this city and this county.

There's a commentary in today's Trib written by PD Amy Campanelli supporting Kim Foxx and trumpeting Foxx as a savior of the criminal justice system. If that doesn't raise a red flag for CC voters, I don't know what will. And ever notice how the contrived Kim Foxx propaganda always hits the media on days that either R Kelly or Smollett have issues up in court (and thus she presumably might get some bad press that she might want to front)??

Glad you can hear - but people who report said crimes, and share that truth, will no longer have visibility the real amount of crime.

In this slimy state, county and city, that's really bad. We all know they lie and cover up, except to hurt PO's, then only a partial cover up to ensure their assess are protected.

If you leak an un-encrypted transmission, you're head's on a post. With the current transparency, at least we can really see the truth without putting PO's in further danger of high legal fees, and JVD treatment.

While it's a horrible thing to have every word recorded, wouldn't you rather those who actually support LEO's have some real knowledge? If nothing else, for our own safety of where to avoid?
