The ratio of persons killed to persons shot seems to be improving:
- Six people are dead and at least 11 others have been injured in shootings across the city of Chicago so far this weekend, according to Chicago police.
The only question now is will the weekend totals top thirty?

We need a "Internet Homicide" unit. We are getting more of these homicides from "social media beefs". Where is the gang unit on this? So much of this bullshit is over some rap diss video where the rapper isn't even a gang member. Here's a new law, make it a Class 2 felony for rap producers to be held accountable. Enough is enough.
But, but shooting are down. Killings not so much last weekend will be mantra on Monday accountability meeting.
The more the merrier considering most if not all will be those that do the dirt in the first place. If you are under 18 you need to be home before 10. If you are over 18 you need to be home in bed resting up so that you can do a good job at work. Never happen but I thought y'all needed a laugh.

In the meantime, US citizens born and raised in the Community are being murdered by the hundreds and maimed by the thousands in our neighborhoods annually by Dude, Inc. Mass shootings incidents (four or more shot in one incident) occur routinely. The impish, bug eyed and frustrated Mayor talks tough, holds reckoning and accountability meetings and lectures all who listened about social justice and getting even for ills brought on by her predecessors (Daley & Rahm).
The bottom line is you are better off being an illegal immigrant in Sanctuary City than a US Citizen living in fear of being murdered or victimized in the Community. Sanctuary City gets the tax money and City Hall protection while the Community gets Mr. Chalky and bleeds out on the street. Another bloody weekend is shaping up in the Community and on Monday City Hall and Special Ed will tell us once again "crime is down".

Interesting point. Funny how the tech companies can easily delete posts and users who are anti-semetic, but lack the capability to remove these active threats of violence. Sometimes I feel like the tech companies and the rap moguls are working in cahoots to make the inner city more violent. They profit off of weaponizing these youths, all while donating huge sums for ' Restorative Justice'.
They play both sides, selling them beats headphones while agitating and condoning violence.
More kills mean less money paid out to let the "kill again," remain and go out seeking retribution causing innocents to be hit! SCC-Partially OT: Recently i was approached by an attorney seeking signatures for his judicial candidate's petition. Prior to signing, i asked what his position was on Circuit Court Chief Judge Evans. He steadfastly refused to answer on the grounds that " judicial candidates may not discuss politics. ". I then asked him what his position on I Bonds/Electronic Monitoring for repeat gun offenders. A gain, he refused to answer. I then informed the aspiring jurist that descisions such as low bonds or EM. for recedivists have real consequences for future victims and are germane topics for an informed voter. If candidates won't confront the Prickwrinkle/Foxx/Evans agenda - they don't deserve law enforcement's vote. I urge al SCC readers to ask similar questions when they encounter candidates and if the candidate won't discuss these crucial issues - refuse to sign their petition. And definitely refuse to vote for him/her if they get on the ballot. This is the only way to change an absurd policy that has created a spineless judiciary.

I do believe that the adult trauma services available through the emergency department at U of C may be improving outcomes for people with gunshot wounds but I don't have any hard data at this time.

Democrats advanced a new measure this week to encourage states to pass “red flag” laws. These so-called extreme risk protection orders authorize removing guns and ammunition from individuals deemed as dangerous by some anonymous, unaccountable person, but it would not include the ready-made lists of gang members.
Republicans tried to add an amendment including known gang members, but the Democrats will not permit the inclusion of gang databases. It’s odd since gangs are the ones causing most of the so-called gun violence.
They would agree to include the names of white supremacists, but not other terror groups.
The House Judiciary rejected any effort by Republicans to include gang databases since they are worried about people mistakenly taken for a gang member. They brought up the ‘no-fly, no-buy’ list which was filled with inaccuracies, but Rep. Ken Buck, a Colorado Republican, who hoped to amend the measure to include gang databases, reminded the Democrats the restrictions for placing someone on a gang database are much tougher than the no-fly list.

I went to an event called "Dragonman's Annual Machinegun Shoot." (Youtube)They had every type of weapon that you could possibly want to shoot. Crew served machineguns up to .50 cal, Full auto suppressed subs, .338 suppressed sniper rifles, exploding targets, and a "Mad Minute" to wrap things up. They had an actual menu of the weapons you could shoot.But,in all that funnin', nobody was shot. I know. Crazy, huh? There wasn't even an unkind word. Weird, huh?
