The Birth of a Conservative?
It's amazing when they finally realize the system is failing them, this time in Flint, Michigan:
- A Southwestern High School teacher says her car was stolen from the school parking lot by a student and is accusing the school district and police of not doing anything.
[Special Education teacher Mary] Toth says on August 13th the student was supposed to be helping her clean her classroom. She says she left her purse in the classroom when she stepped out. She says when she returned, she later discovered that money and keys were stolen from her purse.
She says the student then stole her 2015 Chevy Malibu from the back parking lot. She says minutes after her car was stolen, she looked at surveillance video with four other administrators and they all identified the student. But nearly one month later, her car has yet to be returned and she says charges have not been filed. She says days after this happened the student was also back in school.
Not only is the kid back in school, he still has the car! And she's still paying for the car!!!
- “I’m outraged by the fact that I’ve made $700 worth of payments on my car and a thief is driving my car,” she says.
And just when you think it couldn't get any better, the thief is using the car....in crimes!
- Toth says it was spotted on surveillance video tied to a shoplifting incident at a Flint Save-A-Lot. We reached out to the store to get the surveillance video. An employee confirmed the incident but says Flint Police have to release the security video.
Anyone want to bet on her previous voting habits? And whether or not they might change? We're going out on a limb here and guessing, "No." The disconnect in people is an amazing thing.

So at what point did this teacher CALL THE POLICE? Or did she do what every good leftist “educator” does and listen to the administration, not call the police, not pursue getting her car back and just wait for the little hoodlum to decide he’s had enough fun? Of course, this is the same teacher who left her purse out where the hoodlums could get at it and get her keys and money. When I was working my purse was locked in a drawer all day - and I didn’t work with teenagers!

Teachers are never too old to learn. Some of them wise up after enough bullshit. Enough classroom theft. Enough lunchroom brawls. Enough spitting, threatening, and funnin'. They wise up and go to the charters or Catholic schools.

As a retired former CPD and a former resident of Chicago I can tell you the answer is they won't. I just had a conversation with a friend who still lives in Chicago, is a Democrat and detests President Trump. I asked this person about all the new license plate fees, the gas tax increases, the state income tax raise proposals etc floated by Pritzger. The answer was shocking to me when they said that they would like to see more taxes to make Illinois a better place. They said they would be willing to delay their retirement to pay for increases and love the idea of the state and city being a sanctuary place for illegals and would pay more taxes to support that agenda. Liberals are nuts and things will never change.

Exactly like Chicago lead parallels, wonder lori how much lead is really in the water? went to that beach in Gary by the BP plant people rave about, the water was warm and the workers there said BP paid for the beach to be redone as they are "good neighbors," hmm wonder what is being discharged into our lake Michigan drinkink water? Whenever teachers are in the news it always brings to mind the video of the kindergarten teacher leading her young charges in song, “mmmmm mmmmm mmmmmm, Barack Hussein Obama.” You wanted it, you got it.
The student obviously needs the car more so than she does. Under today's rules he needs it and therefore he did not commit a crime.... Remember, if you have it you must relinquish it to the have nots....
She knows who has her car, she has not reported it stolen, she apparently has made no furtive movement to get the car back, therefore she is liable for damages caused by whoever is driving the car...Her insurance company will not cover ANY costs etc.....

I have a cousin in Houston who this happened to, the student took her car keys from her drawer and went on a joyride. The police caught the student, but they were back in school the next day.

This story is a lovely example of the pimping of the Special Education programs that go on in the CPS. So he is labeled a “special education” student, but he is smart enough to go into his teachers purse and steal her car? For decades, CPS has been mis-diagnosing children so they can get Social Security benefits they don’t deserve, and that they stay on forever. Thanks to the hood rats in the government being sympathetic to “the cause.” Social Security Disability in Chicago has become another welfare program for the able bodied. The current Administration should take a page from Reagan and knock everybody (who is not legitimately profoundly disabled) off Social Security. Let them re-apply and have to prove they deserve their check. I guarantee most would be too lazy to even bother. Start with all the ASTHMA cases (yes, there are people collecting Social Security disability checks for Asthma, a completely manageable health condtion) and then drug test them. Positive for Marijuana? Sorry, you’re not managing your “disease” properly. Buh bye.

Years ago a mechanic who worked on fleet maintenance in a shop behind a CPS
high school would park his car on the street.He began to notice his car was moved
every day.One day he came to work but did not punch in.He stood in a window and watched his car.Sure enough out come four students who jump in his car and begin to drive away.He stopped them and it turns out the cherub's got a key and skipped school to go joy riding, but they returned the car every day.The cars owner felt relief because it was driving him nuts.
Ms. Toth is just experiencing her “white privilege”... Plus, leaving her purse unsecured with a student (especially in that kind of school) is felony stupidity. I hope she learned a lesson - that “under-privileged youth” have different feelings about personal property than she does.
From what I’ve heard about the Flint PD, they’re too busy chasing down murderers and robbers to fret about a car stolen from someone who left their purse alone with a student. As soon as they can cut someone loose from chalk-outline detail, they’ll get onto her car theft.

The teacher Mary Toth did file a police report which you can see in the video interview with her and it’s worth watching; she doesn’t sound like a progressive moonbat. The Flint PD told the TV station they’d look into it and get back but didn’t. To me the Flint school administration and PD are much more worthy of condemnation and mockery than the victim teacher.
