ICE "Manipulated" CPD
- Seven Chicagoans are being detained by federal authorities after back-to-back immigration operations this week, and city officials are slamming U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for attempting to drag Chicago officers into their operations.
Ald. Raymond Lopez (15th) said federal officers called 911 for backup during an immigration stop on Tuesday in Back of the Yards, leading Chicago police to the scene.
Under Chicago’s Welcoming City ordinance, police and other city employees are prohibited from asking a person about their immigration status or turning undocumented immigrants over to federal agents, but the 911 call essentially tricked CPD into responding, Lopez said.
“This was a bait call to get CPD out there,” Lopez said. “Unfortunately, CPD was manipulated by ICE.”
Well, these are law enforcement officers. And they are enforcing federal law. And if that means CPD has to make sure they do their job without interference from the rabble, well then the rabble better stay out of the way of the federal officers.
The usual suspects are outraged that someone actual cares about border security and the rule of law, demanding some mayoral executive orders to prevent CPD from assisting ICE, which as it turns out, we haven't been. We've had a visible presence to deter overreaction, maintain the peace and all that.

Just so you know CR numbers were already pulled today on the officers who just responded to help. The numbers were direct from city hall. Not just any officer who had a role but any officer who was even on scene. Unbelievable.
After what Groot said/tweeted about purposely interfering with Federal Law Enforcement when illegal aliens are arrested, she ought to be arrested, charged with felony obstruction of justice for assisting so many illegal aliens, and put into jail w/o bail because she's a threat to the community, and having been out of town every weekend - she's a flight risk too. Chicago politicians are doing a great disservice to the public by lying about these arrests and creating another false narrative. First, the individuals arrested are here illegally AND COMMITTING CRIMES! Who wouldn’t want them out??? Tis' a shame all 911 calls are directly answered by officers on their tour of duty (goes to the personal cell right?) and there is no 911 trained operator and dispatcher present in the process. So easy to manipulate the cops.
Now... There is media silence about the tricks gang members use such a phoning in 911 calls about shots fired in locales miles away from a place they then intent to commit a shooting or other crime at. Sanctuary polices are hurting those very people that they are trying to shield.
1. ICE jail access = ICE not going into the communities to pick up the criminals.
2. If the state allowed detention centers to be built in Illinois = Family members would not have to travel out of state to see their family members that have been picked up and detained.

If the City can by mayoral whim disregard Federal laws by declaring Chicago a sanctuary city, why do I have to obey the residency ordinance?
When new police officers are sworn in, taking their oath of office, in which they swear to "support, uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States and the state of Illinois and enforce all of its laws" are they given a list of laws that they are specifically not allowed to enforce? And what population segment against which those laws are not to be used?
Violation of a city ordinance. Now that is serious stuff. I’d take a felony any day over a violation of a city ordinance. Is there even bail for such heinous crime. I heard they even have special paperwork to process these crimes “non-traffic summons”. Very scary.

Either they’ll take a notification or shitcans them, they can do nothing or keep the notification particulars for follow up - which usually is depended on the arrestees criminal sanctuary history and felony arrest, maybe pay a visit to either the crib or the court.
Report those Felony arrests and every iota of info from license plates, phones, addresses to grocery store receipts that can establish a locale pattern.

ICE Deportation Officers have to speak Spanish- it is part of their training (same for Border Patrol).
It was an assist LE call. Plain and simple. The agent was 99. Numerous officers answered and one happened to be Hispanic. There was no ruse. No police enforcement action other than backing up a 99 unit and ensuring the individuals stopped knew they were being stopped by a Homeland Security agent who did not speak Spanish well.

Another reason to question the competency of the supervisor making flat out statements by this example. For those supervisors who understand police operations and have been part of the tip of the spear, please pull the dullards off to the side and privately tutor these fools.
The blue shirts follow legal orders (written and oral) and policies. Its clear the Mayor is inept, lacks clarity and understanding of the matter and is vindictive regarding any support to ICE. She is blinded by her bias and overwhelmed by revenge to the point of endangering federal officers lives.
One must stop and question the mental capacity to issue such orders, endanger peoples lives and cause further chaos within the Department. Lorie is overwhelmed with the hot mess Rahm hid from the public and now she and the city is stuck in insurmountable public debt. Add to her plate the myriad of shit storms associated with another crumbling Democratic city (her city) it must be making her delirious and feebleminded. Her public hatred of ICE is evidence of more instability in Lori's public life.
Remember Lori hates the "hate groups"; but now she is the city's "Chief Public Hater".
