At last report, Dart can't find nearly 500 inmates currently out on bond. That number may or may not have changed slightly in the intervening months, but the fact is that multiple times a week, a convicted felon is released on either an I-Bond or EM and multiple other times a week, that felon is arrested again, occasionally for another felony.
Any arrest is a violation of Bail Bond and requires an appearance before a judge, but then the judges just tack on another I-Bond.
We've been pointing this out for years, so a quick hundred bucks to the Chaplains from Kass is only fair. MAybe he can get some traction where we couldn't since all the heavy lifting is done.

With the prison population cut in half, do we have half the budget for the sheriff's office jail? No it continues to increase.

FLSA = Fair Labor Standard Act...You can only work so many hours in a week, Anything worked over that amount has to be paid at a Higher Rate per the FLSA. So if you exceed the maximum hours in a week that your allowed to work the remaining hours will be under FLSA $$$$

I do believe that when Alvarez was states attorney, felons out on EM who cut their ankle bracelets off were charged with escape. I am not sure what Foxx is doing about this, but I would put my money on " nothing". Then, add in the fact that the handfull of deputies that check these EM felons are overworked and some of the rest are lying on the visits and falsifying records.
