As exemplified by the above case, graft and corruption are so tightly woven into the political fabric of the city that they're taken for granted. News of another alderman being hauled off in handcuffs raises no more alarm than that of the Cubs falling short in a pennant race. One simply comes to expect these things.
Another thing one comes to expect in Chicago is crime. The website HeyJackass.com informs us that as of this writing there have been 439 homicides in the city and 2,349 people shot, for an average of one and half killings and eight shootings per day. Are these the values Superintendent Johnson seeks to protect from President Trump’s influence?

I wrote the president a letter about my case with the VA and send paperwork about incompetence with the VA, a month ago. I got a letter back saying Mr “Jesus H. Christ”.. we got this taken care of. Don’t worry. Literal that quick of a letter. 3 days ago I got letter saying I am getting 100% compensation from the VA.
My injury is a bunch of brain aneurysms on the side of my head... when I deployed to Iraq I was IED and as of 2017 I could not do the job anymore due to headaches, light sensitivity, double vision and blurred vision.

Nice article by Mr. Dunphy, whom is actually a very good writer. A little over a week ago, Chicago Tribune columnist, and all around beat off, Eric Zorn wrote an article after Kevin Graham and our police union gave Special Ed a no confidence vote. Hipster Zorn said that it backfired and Graham made Ed into a superhero in the same vain as Batman and Superman. He even wrote something along the lines that Ed might as well be wearing a cape.
Well, since then we have had the POTUS lambasting Ed. I guess in Eric's comic book fantasy world Special Ed is as powerful as Thanos now. With a few exceptions like Kass, most of the reporters in this town are morons that may only be slightly smarter then the CPD command staff. They fancy themselves as intellectual heavyweights, but in reality they are clueless. Zorn especially comes off as a water boy for City Hall. His superhero power consists of him being able to write painfully uninformed articles that cause people to suffer brain damage after reading them.
Ed one big insurmountable problem you have with all this is your own guys think your a phony, dumb, Political hack, asshole. Except for maybe the assholes at IAD who will all get management promotions, or test sheets, for protecting your clout heavies.

The surgery was a couple of years ago, not last month.
