Nice Job Guys
- Early Friday morning, two Chicago police officers jumped into action to save a man from a burning car.
The smashed up Jeep was stretching over the Stevenson Expressway on Pulaski with a driver trapped inside.
The public needs more stories like these, which happen almost daily.

Gino you make your mother proud! God rest her soul. Kudos to you and your partner
They rescued someone from a jeep?? Then it was probably a guy who works 06 car. Lmao
In all seriousness, great job.
Outstanding job by both officers. Chicago’s Finest!
Proud of you guys. You will not hear of the asshole mayor and her new lacky say a word. Sure the media never did the story. Fuck all these hating LE pricks.
Great job officers.
Forgot to mention the fact that the guy was probably driving like an asshole!
Thanks for saving an asshole!
wake up people, the police do good things everyday in this shithole city.civilian.
Fabulous we can always count on our local heroes! Well done Officers Very well done!
You can't count that. It happened on the expressway. State Police get the credit.
Just kidding. Nicely done Officers.
Congrats officers for a job well done.
The mainstream media is under orders to suppress positive police stories and focus on the negatives.
Google me can stop send department emails about what good praises coppers are getting at 2am. I don’t need any inspiration to be proactive police again . It ain’t gonna happen ! Focus on your market the Joe and Jane Q Citizen.
Yes Great Job Officers! Now how about more stories about Police Officers arresting catylitic converter thieves wearing ski masks in blacked out Challenger with White Sox plates and Police apprehend crew of 5 dickweeds cruising around in dark colored Cherokee robbing Michigan Ave businesses? How about Police arrest punk fucks robbing people day after day in lake shore park while using a white jeep believe to be stolen days ago. These would be good stories too.
Great job guys. You are heroes.
Note to Sean Lewis, the reporter who wrote the article: “stretching” is not the verb to use in this context. How does one stretch a car. How about dangling, partially suspended or overhanging? I hope you don’t have a degree in journalism. If so ask your college for a refund.
Great job by two of CPD's finest. Thanks for caring enough to put your lives at risk.
Wonder how many members of the "community", and Social Justice types would have done the same?
"Nice job!"
Unfortunately the SCC site is probably the place that you'll hear those well deserved sentiments the most.
We appreciate and take care of our own.
Stay Safe.
It doesn’t fit the liberal media’s anti-police agenda, these stories are usually buried, unless it is a very slow news day
The pearl clutching little girl on 5 would be hard pressed in acknowledging such heroic efforts by these officer's. Doesn't fit her narrative of the police. Besides she's too busy beating up Beck to stop the record rash of killings as of New Years. Mr. Chalky came out fast this year.
Great work officers! Gee....I can't seem to find the newspaper article about that.
B O R I N G.
The only people that care about first responder rescues are......other first responders.
The public couldn’t care less....”that’s what I pay taxes for.”
The media couldn’t care less.....”where’s the scandal? where’s the sizzle?”
A personal want ad in the newspaper uses more ink.
God bless you both
Gino we are all very proud of you.
