That new law to let eligible high school students leave school for two hours to vote? We have the smartest readers in the world:
- Every single one of them could note by mail;
- Just about every high school is a polling place. Develop a way they could vote their precinct from their high school and they never have to leave the building.
Goodness forbid they get high, get robbed or get killed when they're supposed to be voting. Someone will be looking for some sort of payout.

Early voting allows for these “scholars” to vote for up to an entire month before Election Day, seems like a legit law

WE have 2 weeks of early voting!!!
And at early voting in many school you dont have to live in that precinct.
But the DEMS are really trying to rig the votes keep in mind that all the non citizens check the box for driver license and the instantly can vote.
On another note has anyone gotten a license with the new REAL ID ACT using the police station address? Since it is linked to voting now ...

Early voting is available for a couple of weeks beforehand.
Polls are open on voting day from 0600 to 1900
What idiots think it's a good move to have students OUT OF SCHOOL for two hours when they should be learning?
This is just a favor to the ACLU, this new law giving honor students two hours to rock the vote, to have the lawyers make work.
The two hour window will expand to a whole day off of school once the first lawsuit is filed that two hours is not enough and civil rights (somehow!) and blah blah blah two hours merely is not fair and is sexist and racist.
You have to be registered to vote and I bet most of the honor roll crowd who'd take their two hours free time every election day are not registered. Then comes the lawsuits that it is unconstitutional to ASK if the kids skipping for two hours are even registered (or eligible - think illegals in CPS who are students) to vote.
More money for the lawyers who need to sue in the name of feel good social justice. Then comes the ACLU fundraisers which tout all the lawsuits filed and won in the newest appeal for money. The wheel spins on...
Lastly, WHY THE FUCK ARE SOME 19 YEAR OLDS STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL!?
In the old days, your ass was graduated at age 17/18 and wound up in the military, or in college or started working at a job by the same age you could finally cast a ballot. What in the world happened?
What is next? 20 year olds taking summer school to finally get that high school diploma? Go for the GED at some point... No joke.

During early voting you can go to ANY of the voting locations.
I would bet that every thinking high school kid of age will take those two hours to vote, on the end of the school day. It is like taking free money. Why Not? Even if you don't vote you would be a fool for turning that down. The liberal democrats are all for feel good laws, ineffective, but sure sounds good

Raise voting age to 27, since that's when "kids" these days finally get kicked off of their parents' Obamacare. 18 was set in a time when most young men that age would join the military or workforce in short order, not ritually take on $100k of debt for a gender studies degree.
I don't know about Chicago, but where I live school lets out around 3:00 PM. Polls close at 7:00 PM.
For the benefit of all the CPS students who are incapable of figuring it out, you have FOUR HOURS AFTER school to go to a polling place.
Ahh! They have two hours before school. The polls close at what time? Well after school. Do these kids really know who or what they are voting for? They don't even know who their two US.Senators are, or how many US Representatives are in the House of Representatives, or what Impeachment means vs. removal from office. I even wonder how many of you know the answer to any of these questions. Civics/Government classes in most public run warehouses called schools isn't even taught anymore. Mind numb kids are coming out of high school not barley able to perform reading and math skills at a sixth grade level. And some adult mind numb politician is worried about letting kids out of school for two hours to vote? If you believe these kids will take the two hours to vote, you've got another thing coming.
