The Final Nail in the Coffin

Get a clue boys and girls - your continued employment is at stake:
  • A long-stalled ordinance paving the way for civilian police oversight will pass the City Council in February or March — before Mayor Lori Lightfoot chooses a permanent replacement for fired CPD Supt. Eddie Johnson, an influential alderman predicted Thursday.

Ald. Chris Taliaferro (29th), chairman of the City Council’s Committee on Public Safety, said negotiators for the Grassroots Alliance for Police Accountability and the mayor’s office are closing in on an agreement that includes at least a partially-elected board with policy-making authority shared with the Chicago Police Department.

“I see movement on this. I’m hopeful that we’ll bring in February or March a final version that can be voted on by this committee,” said Taliaferro, a former Chicago Police officer.

Taliaferro spoke Thursday after the latest in a seemingly-endless string of “subject matter hearings” on the vexing issue of civilian police review.
Guess who's going to be elected? Assholes like Lemonhead or Jamal.

And guess what attitudes they're going to bring with them?

We are done last one out please turn off the lights if you’re working police officer being proactive at all you are totally utterly out of your mind don’t forget they will open up all the cases before they take their overpaid rip off the taxpayer position given to them by the leftist democratic anti-police party then over here we have this and why not;

Miami PD suspends white officer who begins identifying as ‘black’
http://www.theamericanmirror.com/miami-pd-suspends-white-officer-who-begins-identifying-as-black-male/

This should be acceptable just like some days if you feel like a woman you can walk into the women’s bathroom, if you feel like a man and you’re a woman you walked into the men’s bathroom men in the women’s bathroom, this is total democratic inspired liberal thinking. Many people talk about the Bible how everything is written in the Bible which it is people say that the crazy people say Jesus is coming soon, they just might be correct. The country the world is on tilt where the rights of the ones were once called the crazies are considered normal, and the rights of the people, Who are once were normal and I’ll being trampled on. Law-enforcement is being totally bastardized throughout the country especially in the city of Chicago and other democratic cities why is this happening no one really can say however being a police officer you have to watch everything you do so you’re able to keep your assets that’s your family and keep yourself out of jail.

In the story it says that the man identifies as a black male, it would be like on the Chicago Police Department where we have people wearing white shirts with gold badges feeling like they are in charge, which they really are not they are just wearing the uniform of the Chicago Police Department thinking it’s Halloween because that’s what they are in costume.

OT. Be vary wary of the “training” taking place at the academy right now with the University of Chicago. You will sit at a table with u of C staff who are supposed to inform you that you are about to be part of a university study. You can opt out but then some sergeant will inform you that you still have to do the training part. At least that’s what they told me. The U of C are not our friends and if you want to be part of a study by all means otherwise you can opt out and they can not use you in their study. Don’t be intimidated by their staff who will try to bully you into participating by giving you a green consent form and rushing you through the process. Ask as many questions as possible before you participate and remember when you agree you have just agreed to be a part of some experiment with a university that has never shown an affinity for law enforcement.

This is why I won’t do proactive police work anymore. I only have 3 years on and I am finally listening to what veterans had told me from the beginning, just answer your jobs and back each other up that’s it. I can not risk my career for it anymore. I wished I would of listened from day one. Then I wouldn’t stress about mistakes I made in the past from being proactive and I just hope and pray that I don’t get fired for them. To me they are not fireable mistakes but with this anti police climate and copa who knows. I love being a Chicago police officer and I still love going to work!! Also Since I hardly stop anyone anymore and I just answer my jobs and back each other up I have less stress. The anti police anti American politicians are ruining this profession and country!

I’m not advocating it: just saying
For one weekend they should just have all of the police stay in the station and only respond from the station to jobs. Watch and see how fast the same anti police politicians and anti police citizen will cry and say police weren’t doing enough and etc.

Or for one weekend have no police and let copa, politicians and all of the other anti police groups play the police and lets see how fast they will be calling for the real police to be there.

It’s sad and would be unfortunate for the citizens but not until the federal government Let’s police strike nothing is going to get better in this country for us. This anti police climate is all over the USA. Not as much in republican ran states and cities but the democratic ran states and cites. Look at Texas majority of the major cities are ran by democrats and they have there bullshit anti police going on also.

Fran Spielman, like all other reporters, is incapable of writing a news report - it has to be turned into an editorial. She begins this right off the bat with the term "long-stalled ordinance". Ordinances are either approved or not based on their merits. No particular ordinance has a God-given destiny of approval - deciding that is part of a political process. It's childish for a reporter to view an ordinance she happens to agree with as a vehicle that's experienced mechanical failure that needs to be repaired so it can reach its rightful destination. This is a microcosmic example of the complete corruption of news reporting by juvenile bias.

Instead, policy would be written by the department and “reviewed and voted on” by the civilian commission." -- slum-times.

And the committee spokesfool, seer, sayer, soothsayer Ald Tellaferio’...will vote YES? His prediction is more of a promise. Any input of Grassroots will likely be merely suggestions and actual policy change will come solely on Council...if it makes a difference with boners like tellaferrio.

It was only a matter of time. GrootFoot proposed community group input from the historic get go, by bringing in interim Beck to concur and act as her sham-wow pitchman to placate the terrified taxpayer victims. Ceeze’Fire 2.0 and Tito Handyman will again see his pockets fill’t again. And of course many other new grassroots alliance offshoots will form more miracle social justice worker farms all harvesting taxpayer money.
For the record, Cease Fire started around 20 years ago and has done nothing but get city state fed money, exemptions and 501(c) write offs Crime is just as uncontrolled as when they didn’t exist.

There just one way to end this.
What’s imperative is the removal of the Trilogy of Terror; mayor, the state’s attorney and the county board president.
With unrelenting crime, one would think an intelligent electorate could overcome this historic firsts trio.

The 1st and 16th will be unaffected unless unbridled proactivity interferes.

I know it’s different but kids on this job still want to have fun. Just like you and I wanted to have fun. So, let them have their fun. It in NO way effects me or you. When we were young we did TONs of dumb stuff that I’m sure in the 70s and 80s the vets prob said was “dumb”. How we are in 2020.. same thing. When kids in the 90s and early 2000s were working I was saying it’s not the same department... think about that for a second. I was thinking that in the 90s!!!! It’s a cycle. Let the kids have the same fun we had or what they s as “fun” even though it’s not even close to what we did. Too many DESK SGTS especially are grumpy wet blankets who are lazy and hide it by saying don’t do anything. Mannn, that would drive me to being in 5 a day just to make that desk sgts day hell.

Fathead understood how to be a mayor’s bitch and followed the agenda like a good Democrat. The Liberal puppetmasterbaters will keep their promise to protect him. They have to if they hope to similarly control the next Super. Part of that deal, I’m sure, is for him to evaporate from the scene once finished. The civilian accountability BS is just something the liberals manufactured to take the public’s (weak minded fools) mind off of the methods used to re-tool.

Funny Chris Taliaferro AKA Blancy as known by some in 025!!!!! Taliaferro used to handle all of his family law practice cases in the basement of 025 in the sgts office. I know cause I used him, I mean who wouldn’t!!!!! Mediocre service at a discounted rate and you could always make an appointment while at work. I wonder how ethical that is Chris being payed as a sergeant of the police and billing your underlings all while on the City’s dime. That would be a great store, alderman standing up to the police who once pillaged the public coffers. No need to worry folks by the looks of Blancy health issues will catch up with him sooner than later.

Here’s one worth looking into:

The other Johnson in charge of the academy, has ordered that at no time will recruits be placed in front, lean and rest. It’s too hard on them. Also, there’s no incentive at all to keep the new recruits fit. They can stay as fat as when they start and blow the fuck up to the fatasses that are currently floating around the districts! It’s always been like that, but holy fuck! There’s more of them and they look like stuffed sausages much sooner!

1/24/2020 11:41:00 AM

What qualification does Johnson have to run the academy? Clout? He is a street officer that has no experience in training. Cannot discipline recruits, lower the standards and the result? Poorly trained recruits. Sad

In 2015, Taliaferro succeeded Alderman Deborah Graham, who replaced convicted Alderman Ike Carruthers.

Graham, a Former State Representative, was mentored by Carruthers, whose organization she abandoned for Harmon's, with an eye on Davis' Congressional seat.

Thus, Davis and Carruthers supported Taliaferro over Graham, who displeased Austinites with more scuzzy businesses, which Galewoodians didn't want.

Doing what they do best. They usually average about one a day. 23 so far this year. But Chicago is at 29 homicides for the year so far. So perhaps this will be the year for an upturn. And the communities demand more police in their areas. But who did they vote for, if they even bothered to vote at all. So all in all I could care less. https://chamspage.blogspot.com/

Mike Underwood we get it, you hate women. I'm sure in your day they knew their place and didn't meddle in the affairs of real men like you. So your handler Donahue made you stop posting your sexist, insane rants on Facebook because it made you look like the spiteful jackass that you are. So now you come on the blog and post anonymously, yea real tough guy shit. Sorry that us women folk aren't willing to let the likes of you and Donahue compromise our pensions by supporting a progressive politician like Martwick. See Mikey, if you had actually done your homework, you'd know that Martwick has been pushing the "progressive income tax" which will allow the State Constitution to be opened up, allowing a backdoor to these politicians to change the wording of our pension clause. The fact that you truly believe that some political hack, who's never even been in a union, will take better care of our pension than someone who is going to collect, just goes to show how out of touch you and the rest of the Donahue regime really is. No we don't back losers, we back our own, something you obviously know nothing about. You don't deserve, nor are you qualified to represent the men and women who do this job everyday. See honey, you're the loser in this scenario. Hopefully after March 5th, when you're voted out, you can actually go enjoy your retirement up in Park Ridge and leave all this Big City business to the people who actually live here and protect it.

They backed him because he was a police officer. How did that work? Situation sound familiar? Few north siders crying because a sgt didn’t get fully Endorsed? Where is all the uproar on this Johncat?

SCC where is your main post on this? You posted an email that tore into a group of trustees who voted with information in regards to the O’Toole/Martwick endorsement. This is a perfect example why you don’t blanket endorse someone just because they are/where the police.

1/24/2020 07:59:00 AM

Donahue just accept it, your time has come to an end, let go. At least this guy waited till he got your endorsement before he wanted to stick it in our ass. Meanwhile you guys grip a guy who cheered when his best friend filed false complaints against a bunch of coppers, false complaints that you guys still haven't held anyone accountable for. Yea, so the Dirty Dozen that supported John Arenas best friend all have to go. SCC please remember to post the 12 again when the ballots come out. Thank you

What a fucking joke. Fuck this place. I’d like to see these recruits go through any other academy in the state and see them flunk out left and right. Not only can’t they run a half a block of walk a flight of stairs, they don’t know how to ask for names, dobs, phone numbers etc on jobs, let alone conduct a traffic stop or a field interview. Unbelievable. Why isn’t the education and training division taken seriously at this department??? At the same time we have ftos who don’t know the law, don’t teach basic patrol procedures and make their ppos lay low so they don’t have to stay late. Meanwhile the fto gets a slip for “daily observation reports” which most ftos take 20 seconds to fill out and don’t actually care about the development of the ppo.
