"Progressive" Body Count
One of the NYPD police unions is putting the blame for particular murders right where it belongs - on the mayor's doorstep:
- The New York City Sergeants Benevolent Association (SBA), a police union representing the city’s active and retired sergeants, blamed Mayor Bill de Blasio for the death of a 92-year-old woman.
A 92-year-old woman, Maria Fuentes, was sexually assaulted and murdered on the streets of NYC earlier in January. The man suspected of killing her, Reeaz Khan, is an illegal alien who had been arrested by the New York Police Department in November 2019, but was released and never handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) because of the city’s strict sanctuary policy.
The SBA on Sunday said Fuentes would still be alive if the city’s police force had been allowed to comply with ICE’s immigration detainer request, and declared that her death was on de Blasio.
And seeing as how Cook County is one of the top three counties to ignore/disregard ICE detainer requests, it's only a matter of time before something similar, or worse, happens here. We have the same "progressive" assholes in charge ignoring Federal law.

This is a law suit waiting to happen. Unfortunately someone has to die or be so grievously injured that the state, county, and city will be forced to stop the practice.
How is it possible for a city or state to ignore federal law without having to face the feds in federal court? Its time, hell it should have been done when the first person or city or state decided to challenge federal law. Send a few enablers to federal jail and watch the rest crap there undies trying to right things. This is still America not some third world country that these progressives are trying to change it into. Stop this BS before it gets any worse.

Will probably have the same result as the Kate Steinle murder case in San Fran, where an assemblage of 12 total morons found the six time deported asshole not guilty.
Then the CA Appeals Court reversed this guys conviction for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

I love the part where he is picked up in Chicago after both a conviction and deportation and.....nothing happens.
It is unknown at this time if any released illegal aliens have murdered anyone in Cook County. But, I would say the odds are very good that this has occured. For one, you won't get any help from the media and with a low clearance rate.
The only problem I have with the idea of ICE coming in for illegals is that some victims are illegals, and I think if someone is working , and trying, they should be allowed to stay. But these illegal immigrants who commit violent crimes, should be shipped back, and or k prisoned.

I don’t understand why the attorney general hasn’t addressed this problem? Or why it hasn’t been brought before the Supreme Court? Did a lower court rule on this? And was it challenged?

the NYPD has refuted those claims, saying it never received an ICE detainer following Khan’s arrest.
The NYPD said it will honor ICE detainers only if “the person has been convicted of a violent or serious crime within five years of the arrest,” if immigration officials present “a warrant is issued by a federal judge,” or the person is on the “terror watch list.”

Hmmm, I’m not sure but I seem to recall a friend who recently was murdered by an illegal immigrant. I forget if it was Humboldt or Albany Park areas. Within the past few years if I remember correctly, but I may be remembering something incorrectly.
No one is above the law, So say all these shit bird Democrats in Crook County. I hope the Fed's get their heads out of their asses and start enforcing the LAW! And lock these people up. You can start with the Mayor and the Sheriff.
