It’s amazing watching the CPS truck pull up in front of my neighbors house and deliver food for the students from Durkin School in Ashburn. The house the food delivered to, a neighbors nightmare, now using our tax dollars, getting free food, a house that comes home with groceries daily. When is this City going to learn.

Homeland security units for state and cook county have existed for many years. They should have done better planning and preparedness. But looking at it, politics comes into play with these units. They utilize federal funds from grants for questionable projects that do not include stockpiling supplies. Got to spend the money within the timelines provided. And they need approval on what they are authorized to buy. They all need to rethink of how these funds are appropriated and spent.

A few days ago Pritzker said he was trying to protect first responders and medical personnel Immediately after channel 7 news did a sort where the CEO of Hart Scaffner and Marx said he has an empty factory in DesPlaines that can produce 250,000 a week protective masks and gowns that are approve for use. Problem is for over two weeks he has made numerous calls to the state to get approval and is being ignored. Said he is frustrated with the state response to his offer to produce them. JB has a chance to get all this equipment and they won’t rerun CEO’s calls
We know Rahm gave that Sanctuary ID program $1million solids to start up leading into the election year, and now into its second year there’s no telling how much that sub-department of the Clerks Office allots for that wasteful, unnecessary and pandering program that probably nobody is using - except they welcomed illegal.
When I dug a little into the 2020 City budget and found the Mayors Office budget of $10 mil and COPA’s $13 mil to spend on non essentiality. I could not find the Clerks City Key ID budget or the office that manages the failed project.

The first thing I thought about when this virus went out of control, was how many were illegals. You can see by looking at the corona virus maps that most are sanctuary cities and states. Cuomo was giving the illegals free drivers licenses. Lori hasn't done anything for the police but as some mentioned CPS is delivering lunches and she's great at bashing Trump every chance she gets. The liberals want a one party system and the middle class, meaning us, will be picking up the tab. Lori seemed like the better choice when she was campaigning but turned out to be another hack. Another question the mayor just canceled school for the rest of the year why are teachers still getting paid like this should they be on unemployment maybe to save the taxpayers money? They’re saying at least 1/3 of people are not working right now why are we paying the full salary and full benefits it’s ridiculous! If there’s nothing for them to do they should be laid off enough of it. They need to seek unemployment insurance like everybody else when is enough enough billions waste it again mayor another failure of your administration.

The Governor is still whining about the federal government saying they did not get all of the medical supplies that they requested. Could it be the federal government is also supplying 49 other states, two of which are inundated with many more case than Illinois. Time for the reporters to ask our politicians who dropped the ball here in Illinois on why our stockpiles were not kept up. They also did a lot of self congratulations to each other that would make you puke. The reporters were very orderly and polite in asking questions not like the national reporters who keep screaming at the President and his staff with arrogant accusing questions and talking over their answers.

Says the state and city have been stockpiling PPE kits and are now handing them out. BS.!There was no stockpile and the only reason you were able to get kits out was because your staff was able to cut deals. he even goes as far as saying that he was able to cut a deal in front of the Federal government, for supplies. Gee.......maybe that's why you didn't get everything you cried for......you jumped to the front of the line beating out the Federal govt. Not everyone in the city services has their PPE kits yet.
Says the President only gave him a small fraction of what he asked for. No, the President was able to allocate to Illinois proportionally based upon assisting 49 other states, jackass.
It is YOUR responsibility as governor to ensure the people of the state are properly protected and assets are stockpiled in the event of an emergency. Don't be inadequate and then blame a man who has taken the leadership role in a national crisis for yous shortcomings. Does this mean that myself & a bunch of co-workers can sue Dr. Arwady & the Mayor? Because I’m pretty sure we all had it January & early February before it blew up in the media. Never heard a peep about it from anyone in city. Stayed home as long as I could but nowhere near 2 weeks recommended by CDC & another reason we have the stupidest medical procedure. Get sick, must report to medical section (infecting who knows how many just sitting there). God knows how many people were infected prior to it being what it is now.
