Profiting Off the Dead
So not only was no one ever found resposible for chopping up a 2-year-old child, now someone is looking to profit from it:
- A man who was acquitted in the heinous murder of a toddler whose dismembered body was found in the Garfield Park Lagoon is suing the city of Chicago.
Kamel Harris, 45, filed the lawsuit Monday in Cook County Circuit Court, accusing the city of a malicious prosecution that led to him being behind bars for more than two years while he awaited trial.
A jury cleared Harris of all charges last year.
Harris said his ties to the case caused him to lose custody of his daughter and son and that he continues to have a difficult time finding work because of the accusations against him, according to the suit.
For some reason, the article doesn't name the law firm retained, and let's just say we have an awfully difficult time believing this guy is representing himself.

Just because he wasn't convicted, that doesn't mean he didn't do it. The verdict was "not guilty," it wasn't "innocent." Huge difference.
The amount of time he waits behind bars isn't the Chicago police dept's call, but I guess arresting someone in good faith doesn't mean anything anymore.
No convention money, no airport revenue, no sales tax dollars flowing into our coffers, but the city will reward this human being with a 10 million dollar prize.

The legalized bribery committed by these law firms is played out as follows: the law firm makes a donation to the mayor, alderman, any politician, etc. The law firm then sues the city on some bullshit case involving anything but mostly police conduct. The city then pays out hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars to said law firm. City then claims they would have paid more in legal fees and wants to save the taxpayers money. Bullshit!
The cycle then repeats itself. After Trump wins again in November the FBI should take a hard look at this scam.
A friend was recently juror on a "CPD-inflicted wrongful death" settlement trial here in Chicago. She says jurors were selected on basis of "not using social media" (she doesn't), and that no background info was provided on said "CPD victim" (felon, long criminal conviction record, gang-banger, etc). Family got $1 million payment. My very lady-like church-going white friend felt intimidated by gang-banger's "family and friends" presence in court, concerned they were tracking HER, overtly thug-like behavior tolerated by judge in courtroom. She folded within a day of jury deliberation, despite her preference to deny any award.

Lawyers are truly bottom feeders. This degenerate of course needed a public defender for the criminal trial. There is a moral, professional & Constitutional obligation to represent the accused, no matter how morally reprehensible they are. But when it comes to something like a civil suit, all these greasy lawyers see is dollar signs for themselves. Any prosecution of this man was based on this absurd story he came up with & no evidence to support his defense. The clear evidence is a child’s body was not just dumped but mutilated & thrown like trash into the lagoon.

As opposed to the two years he would have spent standing on a street corner drinking his 40 ounce bottle of malt liquor? He was probably healthier when he got out of jail than he has been since he was seventeen years old. Screw you, you liberal piece of snowflake garbage. He fucking killed that kid, cut him into pieces, bagged the pieces and weighted them down before he threw this poor innocent kids body into the lagoon. But just like everything else the LCD does in life, he fucked up and didn't weigh the bags down enough. I worked that case. I pulled pieces of that kids body out of the lagoon. I still think about it. Only in Cook County with pieces of shit like you sitting on a jury can an asshole like this be acquitted. If I got a terminal cancer tomorrow morning, I'd pull a Jack Ruby on this piece of shit. I hope if you ever have a kid, nothing like this ever happens, but you probably struggle with your own gender identity so you'll never reproduce anyways. The jury effectively gets to decide what good faith is. They obviously did not buy it.
By and large the public has lost faith in the criminal justice system as it has become more and more about getting convictions by any means as opposed to a search for the truth.

There are truly morons out there. They eat up this shit like it’s “art” because these fools don’t own the property. Here’s an idea for any asshole who likes looking at this shit, why don’t you invite the taggers (without any consult or direction from you or notice of when it will occur) and let these vandals Tag your most valuable assets: your house, your car, the inside of your apartment, your clothing,, your big screen tv, etc. Problem solved. The tagger can express himself and you can enjoy his “art” up close & personal and save others millions in costs to clean it up.
