Tuesday Air Show
Seeing as how everything will end up canceled at some point, there's a "fly-over tribute" scheduled for today:
- The U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels will perform a flyover of Chicago on Tuesday, the Blue Angels announced on social media Sunday.
Known for participating in Chicago Air and Water shows, the pilot squadron’s surprise Tuesday flyover will honor front-line workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
“We salute and thank all healthcare workers, first responders and other essential personnel serving on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19,” a release said.
There's even a map at the link - and amusingly, the flyer says that you should observe the flyover from the "safety" of your quarantined home and under no circumstances should you attempt to find a decent vantage point to actually see the flyover.

They did a flyover in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago. My neighbors found good vantage points to watch and said it was very moving.
I see the blue angels everyday, they are all driving in police cars all over the city.
I WILL be going out to see it, maybe on the lake front if need be. NO FAT ASSED GOVERNOR has any authority at all over me and this includes the idiot mayor. I am a state of Illinois employee and i do not respect FAT ASS at all.

I’m tired of it and I’m telling people go to the parks, hang out and do what you have to do. Meet with friends, go drink and gather. I’m telling people as long as you’re on my beat I nor anyone in my district will enforce a single thing on my beat. I 19P all calls when it comes to being outside or social distancing. I have several parks on my beat and I don’t care. I’ve told everyone to spread the word and enjoy. I’m not enforcing a single thing and people are revolting more and more now and the people who in interact with are happy I’m not enforcing anything and encouraging people to come out. I’ve told them to rebel this governer and this mayors orders and they are. I don’t care if it’s the ghetto or the mag mile and I don’t care what race, I’m telling ALL people I interact with to do this and to rebel. It’s spreading. Open it up, you can’t stop us. When the people have the police on their side then you have nobody to enforce this.. unless of course you are over in the 011th district with the bootlicker supervisors who jump when the boss says to. Otherwise, many officers on my watch in my district are following suit and my sector sgt is on board also. Rebel people, don’t disperse these people and don’t enforce a thing.
And not to be outdone, Spritzgar, the Blimp, and Groot will be flying in a Real Blimp today that has a sign flashing O B E Y.

If we are lucky it will land right in the street between City Hall and the Thompson Center.
I have it on good authority that Groot stood on the belly of Goofenor Fatass and had a clear unobstructed view of the flyover. What was amazing is that in spite of sinking 7 inches into his massive stomach the tiny tot Dictator was still able to gander an excellent view. Most probably it would have supported Cowboy Brown as well. The glare from his dome quashed that idea as it would have blinded the residents of nearby high rises. PS: those 3 fucking morons constitute a mass gathering themselves. Fatass accounting for 8 1/2 - Brown 1 - Groot just barely 1/2.
I hope they don't fly closer than 6 feet apart over Chicago. Mayor Ass Clown will get her butt in a bunch and try to cite them!

Your statement is simple to the point where is exactly what many people feel, we live in a formally free country of United States of America which is quickly becoming full of little dictators and fat dictators like ours, and then we have our mayor who is disgraceful has no clue either, they are dictating to us what we are going to do if the people don’t stand up it will be just like Germany when Hitler rose to power, think it’s crazy sit home look out your windows! Keep your children at home as they keep paying and paying billions of dollars for all the city state county workers to stay home, not all the essential workers are working look at the teachers are not teaching all the money they are taking all the administrators why are they being paid? Will our property taxes double triple quadruple? The Democrats in Congress has proposed a $3 trillion bill yes 3 trillion money that will never be repaid to give more to the people that don’t wanna work they are literally buying votes for November, We had the greatest economy we’ve ever had in the history of the world the most jobs savings plans were doing great the Democrats couldn’t take it anymore they want America to never succeed, trump exposed so many of them as the thieves and liars they are along with their fake news media now this is what they’re going to do destroy us unless we destroy them.

You know this is not a "pukeable" PSA. I got 6 nurses in my family.
Some work with Covid-19 patients,
the rest are just nurses, working with regular sick patients.
They don't think of it as big deal,
it's just their job. Just like it is
no big deal being a cop or a
firefighter, it's just another job.
Hope you don't get sick and have to
get help from a nurse at immediate
care or a hospital, you might just
puke.
Enjoy hating the United States, the greatest country on the Earth, have a great day.

You're a clown. I have family that are nurses too. It does not justify the non-stop tv worship of the nurses.
Why?
Because the commercials are not about giving praise to the nurses. Its all about brain washing and programming. That tv is the most lethal weapon at the goat's disposal. It is very effective. Thats why its every commercial. Repeat repeat repeat the same damn slogans such as #alonetogether and #stayhomestaysafe.
The fact is the hospitals are not overrun and the nurses are not in any danger unless they have pre-existing illnesses and are 81 years old. ENOUGH!

I was at the lakefront at 31st street today. I was the only one with a pair to sit at the lakefront.
Approx 15 other citizens momentarily joined me until a white shirt bullhorned from his SUV that the lakefront was closed. The white shirt continued to state "this is not my rules, but the lakefront is closed. You can stand by your parked cars and watch the jets from the street but not on the lakefront."
The 15 people immediately all scurried back to their vehicles like good slaves and watched the jersey as they inhaled car exhaust from vehicles on LSD.
As for me, I stayed put.
What is the difference between the lakefront and the parking lot?
Nothing but 50 yards of grass. Its the same damn air and the damn people breathing it. But because of JB and Larri the lakefront is a magical area where the virus is super deadly.
We can't be on the lakefront because its a show of power. Its meant to break our will like we are dogs.
Ill be at 31st tomorrow and the day after that. These criminals have prevented me from earning a living so now my job is civil disobedience.
To their credit, the beat cops didn't make a noise. They know this is absolute bullshit. If that white shirt wants me off the lakefront tomorrow he will have to get out his SUV and physically remove me so he can tell his political owners, who got him the promotion, that he kept the lake free of a third-generation born and bred Chicagoan. The grandson of a CFD Battallion Chief. I'm not going to budge a damn inch. I'm done with this fat slob JB and that mental midget Larri.

On base when the Blues came through. The T-Birds; yawn, business as usual. Angels? EVERYONE is out in the parking lots or service roads watching. Those guys operate on the deck. Close enough to wave, and that's just when they fly in. Last time I remember the T-Birds trying CAS flying an O2 ended up scraping the deck, writing off an F16 and spending a couple months in the hospital. Only a putz would give a directive like 'stay indoors and listen to the best precision team the world has ever known'. A true eunuch

Veterans day is approaching.
But with 'rules' on social distancing preventing large groups, I hope this doesn't deter EVERYONE from showing respect and gratitude for fallen heroes.
Hoping for large crowds to honor them. They faced bigger hazards than a virus. They are owed that.
The veterans ignored the 'CLOSED BEACHES' sign on the Normandy beaches, as a tribute to them we should ignore the CLOSED BEACHES in Chicago.
And everywhere.
Went to Northwestern campus lakefront in Evanston to watch the Blue Angels. Came 30 minutes early to get a good spot. By the start time, the area was crowded with many ignoring the 6 foot rule, including senior citizens. Have to believe most of that crowd was from Evanston and are in the 71% backing the Gov's lockdown. Do as I say not as I do.
They flew directly over my house. I wish I would have known about it in advance so I could have seen the whole thing. Was just sitting here when I heard that distinctive approaching fighter jet sound. By the time I figured out what it was and ran outside, I got to see them disappear behind a tree, and then reappear maybe 15 seconds later. Very cool nonetheless.
I was out yesterday along the lakefront and didn’t budge an inch when the announcement was made that the lakefront is closed. I am not obeying any of fat asses orders at all. I am not a sheep, rather a sheepdog with a brain. I just laughed when everyone left at the announcement and I didn’t even have a face mask with.
Thanks Blue Angels and whoever had the idea to make this happen.
