DePaul is turning out some real gems these days.
Catholic higher education. The American Council of Bishops is the biggest Federal contractor engaged in the resettlement of refugees. Keep in mind that most of them are not even Christian, yet they not only bring them here, put pants on their bare naked asses, feed them, house them and move them to the front of the line for all social services, but they are getting thousands and thousands of dollars from the Federal government. So to recap, the Catholic hierarchy is actively replacing you and your family with foreigners who have no intention of ever going to church, WHY!!!!! For the money, and the power they will share once you are either eliminated or irrelevant. And You are almost irrelevant now.

DePaul used to be a great school for working class kids. No nonsense; work hard and make something of yourself and everyone is lifted as a result.
What happened to Christian education, even at places like DePaul? Well, pretty much they got the malicious leftist disease that is ruining other schools.
So much for Catholic leadership -- at a time when it is most needed.

DePaul University boasts itself as being the biggest catholic university in America and yet it's churning out graduates like this Marxist infidel. My daughter is a current senior at DePaul and she says it is so virulently leftist that it makes Berkeley and Univ of Wisconsin-Madison look like Falwell's Liberty Univ or Wheaton college.

As a Depaul graduate (late 70's undergrad, law, early 80's), I'm embarassed but not surprised. My faculty law school profs were professional educators who never actually practiced law, unless you want to count Barbados or New Guinea. I wised up my second year and took classes taught by actual judges and practitioners.

The weak and powerless go there and imagine that they will somehow turn a 500k student debt incurred while pursuing a feel-good degree will translating into living in a big house on the hill. A wise man warned about educating peasants, since they become difficult to govern. That was in the China of the 4th Century BC, which shows there is nothing new under the sun. The laziness of the failed intellectual is boundless, and these are once again the enemies of society. Tools of the rich and aspiring commissars, they are either at our feet or throats. The sooner DePaul, and places like it can be defunded, the better.
