- According to City of Chicago data, under the age of fifty, 238 people have died from Covid-19 to date.
According to Hey Jackass, 438 homicides (shot, stabbed, strangled, other) this year to date in Chicago. 8 of those were self defense by civilians and/or police.
And according to Hey Jackass, on average about 97% of all homicides victims are under the age of 55. Doing that math, and taking out the self defense homicides, we can say about 417 homicides victims were under the age of 55.
417 - 238 = 179
Stop and think about that for a min. In Chicago 179 MORE people died from homicide YTD than Covid-19. (Great city there Groot). That's right, we can be certain more people under the age of 55 are will die from homicides than Covid-19 in Chicago. This of course is something we will NEVER hear from Groot or the media.
End of year bet - how many more people (or folks) will have died in homicides than from COVID?

Those under 50 probably already where acutely sick such as severe as asthma. COVID-19 is wayyyyyy overblown. Unless you are really old or sickly, you’ll be fine if you get it. Just don’t give it to grandma.

So statistically you are way more likely to be shot to death than to die of Covid 19 in Chicago. And if you factor in that 60% of the deaths occur in nursing homes, the public at large should be losing their minds more over a armed criminal than a virus.
But the real question is how many actually died of Covid or did they die from something else and test positive for Covid. There is a huge difference between those. I would be willing to bet that the number which actually died of Covid is significantly less which makes the difference between Covid deaths and homicides even more dramatic...

My daughter attends a Catholic elementary school in the suburbs, although we live in Chicago. Both she and her teachers were engaged in online instruction 5 days a week. For at least 3 hours a day. That’s every weekday. We have no chromebooks or free internet provided to us. How is it that she manages at least 15 hours of schoolwork during this COVID farce and CPS can’t get more than half of its students or teachers to log on 3 or more times a week?

Not sure what you are getting at Covid deaths are low because of extraordinary measures to slow down the spread. Even with all that has been done in Chicago like shutting down and wearing masks. Shit Show in Milwaukee for the security of DNC convention next month is starting. Local suburban and other PD's who initially pledged to support Milwaukee PD for security of the Democratic convention. They now are declining to provide support to MPD due to their city council and mayor will not authorize use of tear gas and pepper spray to quell the mob. Its unsafe to place officers in potential danger not to have tools necessary for protection of lives and property.
