1,100?

We've seen a couple of disturbing numbers in the comment sections regarding cops on the Medical Roll

  • One commentator says there are currently 1,100+ officers out sick
  • Another comment says it's closer to 1,500

We're thinking the 1,500 number might be total cases since the outbreak began, but we've no proof either way. The Department releasing numbers of sick officers stopped shortly before Halloween when Groot and Brownie approved the Super-Spreader Bus and Training Events that have decimated the Department and show no signs of letting up for at least a projected two weeks.

Someone has the real numbers somewhere.

On The Wire just hit COVID-19. It gives you officers that had it, recovered, and awaiting results. Don't have exact numbers but as of November 13, 1,500+ had it, 1,100+ recovered and 300+ pending results.

If you hit the medical, you are guaranteed two weeks off. You can call 100 times a day for two weeks to clear and no one answers the phone. Fuck it, thats on them. Doesn't help that they have 3 people working with this many people on the medical.

Hit the medical.
Tell em you got a fever, head ache, stomach ache, throwing up,
Even if you aren't positive for c-19, you could be a false negative.
You may have the old flu, or a stomach ulcer, or food poisoning.
Hit the medical! Follow the rules, Go to your doc, get a note.
Take care of #1...YOU.

The media should be all over this story. The numbers are unbelievable. The media doesn’t have to search too hard to find the direct cause of all the sick cops. Cops are also worn out making for weakened immune systems.

Well, the moral of the story is....when you have radical, rioter scum that wreck the city, you squash them like a bug and throw them in prison for 10 years. That way, you won't have to worry about cramming officers on a bus and spreading a disease later down the line during a pandemic. You dumb liberal city democrats starting to get the message yet? Probably not because you are retarded and corrupt.

You're welcome.

I’m assuming the entire medical section is on the medical too.

Have you ever tried calling them? Or waited for them to return a call? Or had them try to approve anything?
Following the orders for medical roll usage is absolutely impossible when dealing with the people down there.

I know they are busy, but talk about inefficient and ghost assignments!
Nothing but a headache trying to deal with them.

You heard it here first. Fop and the city met the other day. A financial
Package is pretty much done. Medical going up to the same percent as the Sgt, which is about 4 percent which was expected. 55 and out insurance cost will also follow suit of what the sgts got. Raise.. drumroll.... 8.75 percent over 5 years with retro and a 750 dollar hazard pay (taxable) for covid which the FOP wanted. That’s it. In turn, the city will take off any changes to the contract regarding discipline. 8.75 percent is a hard pill to swallow but it’s something in this economy and no changes to discipline is the biggest thing here. Guys cant get days off after having their rdos/holidays cancelled repeatedly. Med. only option. Look at the inside non bid desk, caps, sdsc and mission/tact crews front office, broom closet etc before you hit the guys on medical playing it safe. Teachers got a raise and can hide anywhere but their place of employment. I'm all for remote policing. If its not safe to have public school, how we get go go to training in an in-person setting? No union representation so medical is only route. Only gonna get worse around holidays. But who am I? Some dumbsheet blueshirt for life.

I’m sure that the number of officers on the medical roll has nothing to do with the complete demoralization and demonization of the Chicago Police Department. It has nothing to do with our mayor and state’s attorney favoring criminals over police and threatening to jail police for doing their jobs. It has nothing to do with the city’s push to hire a group of snowflakes and thugs to “be the change.” The skyrocketing crime rates, likewise, have nothing to do with our news media and politicians blaming police for society’s sordid array of problems. This is just a temporary problem that will soon resolve itself and is nothing to worry about.

The numbers are hidden in the Covid-19 information bar at the top of the screen. I will send you a screenshot when I get to work. It was 1555 on Thursday and jumped 100 or so by Friday. It also has how many returned to work and that was about 1200. So the 1555 was a currently sick number. Give me an hour.

There is something in play here with all the new COVID restrictions. I predict there will be some sort of 3 week shut down that will start this week and take us into december 8 or so. Thanksgiving and Black Friday will be in play, decimating small business. Something is also brewing with the election and all these democratic governors and mayors are figuring out their spin so Biden wins. The Dominion voting fraud will has put the Democrats on the defensive and their strategy is to just run out the clock, similar to the Biden campaign. Sydney Powell scares the life out of them and she is pissed and on the war path. A lot of big Democrats have gone silent because they are in the crosshairs of this investigations which involves Democrats but also some Republicans. This is an awful scandal for our country but we will recover from it - but only with an investigation. It you don't investigate, the stain of corruption will never leave 73 million Americans.

Very much on topic..I voluntarily went into a suggested EAP 6 week program for help with the tragic loss of my son. I completed the program and was released full duty without any exceptions. I went to the medical section to be released and was told told that Humane resources would call to make an appointment. My appointment came and I was stripped immediately! Direct order to take a psychological and duty fitness tests.im forced medical! I never want to discourage any officer seeking help, but be very aware of EAP And especially the city! Remember I voluntarily asked for help,no mandate, I went 6 weeks as a full duty officer, now I can't carry a gun!

I really hope that you’re a troll. Between property tax increases and health insurance increases, this wouldn’t even keep up, this is basically a pay cut. I’m not unrealistic, but this economy was so strong for so long, and we end up with this? Yes, I recognize the value of keeping protections that are written into our contract, but this is underwhelming. Just send this thing to an arbiter.

STop that stupid consent decree super spreader training!
IF the training area does not have people spread apart 6 feet and the room is crowded
notify the merit SGT who you will notice disappears from the room.

Fans do not help if anybody reads studies!!! it actually speed the spread of virus.

You dont see open window? you screwed.

You dont see cleaning supplies that merit SGT should be asked for and supply them.

Ask for a mask that the city must supply.

take photo if the merit SGT become LAZY and incompetent.(also right down the name officer you aint a civilian).

Notify your unit that the work conditions are unsafe and return to the unit /use your radio for event number. Complete an unsafe work condition report.

get ready for your units white shirts to get upset because the LT's in charge of classes will be pissed. print up piks you took.

Stay healthy and smart.

I don't have specific knowledge, but this sounds right.

Your mayor last night said 1/18 in Chicago has an active infection right now, so that's above 5% of Chicagoans as a whole. Its easily believable that 10% or more of officers would be.

For weeks now, IL has been posting new infection rates of ~1/1000 residents each day. It makes sense that its concentrated in Chicago, and after a week or two or three that adds up.

Illinois uses Dominion software. Brief summary of what took place. Massive global fraud, coordinated with CCP, Covid, Dominion, world domination, One World Order. Yes, no, maybe.

Scytl Secure Electronic Voting, S.A. started as a cryptography outfit in Barcelona, Spain back in 2001. Even it’s name comes from ‘scytale’ the ancient Greek octagon code stick used to convey secret battle plans.

They ‘innovated’ Hugo Chavez’s win in Venezuela and Nicholas Maduro’s presidency, a 2018 US midterm to take over the House of Representatives, and almost made sleepy Joe Biden president of the U.S
Now they steal elections—but they don’t make the money.

The ‘fronts’, political hacks and Globalist owners of Dominion, Smartmatic and others selling the elections by ‘fixing’ them reap the big bucks.

Scytl are the hacker kids in the back, working for the criminals—it’s the Merkels, Soroses, Pelosis, Feinsteins, Clintons, etc. the usual world-class criminals with strong ties to the CCP—who ran the scam.

Scytl just switches the votes in the system from their paymasters’ choice of loser to his/her choice of winner—and deletes votes if the opponent happens to be winning ‘bigly’, just as we documented last week Trump was doing on election night.

It appears that there has never been such a landslide win in U.S. history—which is why the fraud turned so blatant around 4 a.m. the day after the election—by law—had ended.

The Democrats trucked hundreds of thousands of freshly made ballots—marked only for Biden with no down-ballot votes—into Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania to provide physical cover for the Scytl vote switch already plugged into the data—via the servers in Germany.

And by doing their dirty work outside the U.S., they thought they were jurisdictionally protected if the Dominion/Smartmatic fraud ‘fronts’ were ever detected.

In fact, they bankrupted Scytl in late 2019 and moved the critical servers to Frankfurt, Germany just before the 2020 Trump re-election to put them under Angela Merkel’s protection.

Spain was too weak and couldn’t protect the secrets. The Globalist Frau Merkel, was the most formidable Globalist, so she was ‘the man’—and oddly, the first world leader to call on Trump to ‘concede’ the election he had just won by a landslide.

Very telling, no? And how was Frau Angie so sure of Biden’s win while the votes were still being counted—and in some States—still being illegally fabricated as ‘cover’ for the digital switch?

Has anybody else noticed the similarities between the election fiasco and every attempt by the Democrats over the last 4 years to frame Trump, everything they do is slap happy, I believe they are so arrogant, they believe they do not have to cross the tees and dot the I's, if you look at everything from the Russian collusion hoax to the senior Trump advisor who was an anonymous contributor to CNN and all of the usual propaganda outlets, the moron turned out to be basically the tea boy.

The problem they have with the election cheating is to many idiots are in on the scam, all with very big mouths and a camera, when you look at the resources thrown against Trump over the 4 years, all the law enforcement agencies, the tax office and any one else who thinks they can make money out of a scam, they have not been able to pin anything on him, he is either the cleanest President in US history or is far smarter than all of his enemies combined.

the fraud is just another extension of Orange Man bad, the complete government is rotten to the core and is structured around enriching people who play the game with out any threat of punishment if found out. the FBI and DOJ must be full of inept institutionalized vegetable or there main skill is enriching themselves.

Wouldn't surprise me any. If the reports of forced gatherings scc has talked about are true, the nature of the virus makes it almost certain that large numbers of cops would be infected because short of testing every cop regularly there is really no way to tell who has it.

The cynical side of me says they are hoping infection provides immunity so getting as many cops infected as fast as possible will lead to some kind of cop herd immunity.

The problem is that cops that have it and don't know will be spreading it to family members and others they have close contact with.

But they are going to need every cop they can find when the shtf. So it may be deemed better to get them sick now rather than later so they can be available to guard groot's new years Eve party.

If this is true & there's no change regarding discipline, that's huge!
I cannot underestimate how important this is.
If the city got their way with discipline, it'd be a nightmare!

The training is ridiculous, it needs to be postponed till the spring or summer. Everyone is on top of each other in these classes. Desks and tables are not spread out and probably two thirds of the people in the classes are not wearing masks and supervisors are not telling people to wear the masks. Additionally all the canceled days off and cramming everyone on buses and vans 2 weeks ago has resulted in numerous positive Covid 19 cases. Not to mention the complete waste of taxpayer money for that stunt (when absolutely NOTHING happened). Anyone that can get out of this department needs to do it now. This place is only going to get worse. If you can retire, RETIRE! If you're young, find another job or go to a better department than CPD.

To the person who stated that this is a major win regarding the contract you are an absolute fool. 8.75 minus 2.5 for medical increase means we are getting a 5.25 increase over 5 years. How in the fuck is that a major win. Union just had big wins in Illinois labor board regarding discipline, therefore most of cities demands have already been decided out of contract. If this is in fact the correct numbers we need to vote out all of our union leadership as we had an offer of 10% that was refused by the union.

I’ve been to the retirement seminar. It would be better if Zoomed in. The media room at 35th street is too large and packed with people that were either talking, chewing, coughing and sneezing and made most of the presentation both difficult to hear and see when put up on the big screen. And this was before the Covid world. Change it what’s the big deal? Officers will get more from the Zoom setting. Now this shit with us getting sicker by the day. The only reason we’re all packed into buses is because our mayor let shit get out of control in the first place. It makes little sense for to be packed into these modern day slave ships. We have absolutely no control over things when on that bus. Isn’t our job description of being under control what we always have to be whether it’s in our training our speech our look, our testifying? It’s absolutely everything and everywhere in our profession. But that’s just it we’re not considered professional. Groot has made that abundantly clear. And this thing wants something bigger and better than us at say a national level? A sick joke is what she is!

I went on the medical on the 2nd of Nov. because I was exposed to two people who tested positive. I notified my Sgt. and he said if you want to come to work see you tonight and if you want to stay home I'll put you down for CU. I said put me on the medical because I'm not coming in to possibly spread it if I have it. I was able to get tested on 4 Nov. and the test was positive, and they told me to quarantine for 14 days which would be until the 18th of Nov. The medical section told me 10 days and call back to clear which would have been the 14th but I still don't feel anywhere near 100% and still have congestion , headaches and cannot smell or taste . So guess what , I'm not going back until I feel better. I have no other medical issues and have had milder symptoms but make no mistake , 10 days is not enough ! Take all the time you need because they don't care about you or your family !

I’ll take that any day. Raises are as follows. July 1 2017 0.5%; Jan 1 2018, 1 %; Jan 2019, 2%; Jan 20, 2 %; Jan 2021, 1.5 %; Jan 2022, 1.75%. Give them nothing. Take and use every benefit and advantage available to you. For nearly nine months the little shit has exposed us to the dangers of the Wuhan Red Death by failing to provide PPE, creating a dangerous and continuing situations forcing officers to gather in crowded classrooms, busses, roll calls and other unsafe facilities (Homan). Her vindictive decisions, as implemented by the Dummy from Dallas, endangered officers lives and in several instances loss of life. In the meantime 706 murders and over 3700 shooting victims go unnoticed by Groot, Brown and the Pravda media.

The bass mouth looking mayor deserves nothing but scorn and criticism. The dwarf is ruining the city in every possible way. Ummmm...if this is true then it would destroy any last hope we have in our FOP. We elected John to put an end to capitulating to the city and to fight for us. The poster would be correct, it’s a huge win for the city not the police. This would be the worst contract in FOPs history. Everyone else got 10% or more. If this is the city’s offer then we should go to arbitration. Otherwise we’re better off with Dean Angelo again

COVID DEATH RATES

"By Sep 19, the United States had recorded 198,589 COVID-19–related deaths, for a death rate of 0.06%, higher than countries with low and moderate coronavirus death rates but similar to those with high death rates.

[That is "six one-hundredths of one percent."]

"For example, the death rate in Australia, considered a low-mortality country, was 0.003%, while Canada, a moderate-mortality country, had a 0.02% death rate.

On the high-mortality end of the spectrum, Italy's COVID-19 death rate was 0.06%, while Belgium's was 0.09% throughout the pandemic."

https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-perspective/2020/10/us-leads-19-nations-covid-19-all-cause-death-rates

Here, a mayor refutes the numbers game at some length -

"Heart disease was the leading cause with 647,457 (.20% of the total population). Cancer was next with 599,108 (.18% of the total population). Third was accidents with 169,936 (.05% of the total population). Do we shut down our economy, lockdown our citizens, spread hyperbole and fear because .05% of the population dies from accidents every year?"

https://www.cashmerevalleyrecord.com/columnists/rock-island-mayor-blasts-fake-pandemic

From what I have seen, social distancing, wearing masks, and disinfecting touch surfaces are all good ideas; if anyone has caused militant resistance to these ideas, it's the politicians like Lightfoot and Pritzker, "preaching water while drinking wine" - setting the original Bad Example.

Saw the post on the contract. Pro or con I honestly believe they don’t want a cops pay to top $100,000. With that pay increase just under 20 years gets you aprox $97,500 per year base pay. I’ll bet they freeze the pay there for the next ten years. The police hating dregs that run thing can’t stomach seeing a cop make $100K or more.

Know the bosses make well over $100k but I don’t think a street cop will ever top $100k. They’ll tell us to fuck off and take it or leave it.

And if no contact after six months go to arbitration immediately. No reason we should wait 4 years to settle the contact.

We have another major bombshell for you here, regarding the 2020 election. Despite the intense, malicious censorship of Big Tech, we’re really becoming known for in-depth analysis and research of current events, so thank you for your support as we continue to fight for the very survival of America, our constitutional republic.

This story begins with the little-known executive order signed into existence on September 12, 2018, by President Donald J. Trump. That order, available at Whitehouse.gov, is entitled, “Executive Order on Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election.”

In that executive order, which almost no one has covered since the day it was signed, President Trump declares a national emergency. That emergency is still in play to this day, and the 2020 election was conducted under this state of emergency, which is a crucial point to understand what’s coming next.

“Unauthorized accessing of election infrastructure”

In the EO, the President also states that people and organizations located, in part, outside the United States are known to be able to, “interfere in or undermine public confidence in United States elections, including through the unauthorized accessing of election and campaign infrastructure or the covert distribution of propaganda and disinformation.”

If you’re starting to see how this ties in to CNN, the NY Times, the Washington Post and MSNBC, you’re not alone. All those organizations, as you’ll soon see, have been caught under this emergency declaration of “foreign interference” in U.S. elections, aided by complicit corporations on U.S. soil.

The EO further states that this foreign interference in U.S. elections, “constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States.”

Why is this relevant to anything we’re seeing right now with the massive election fraud carried out by the Democrats and the deep state? Because Dominion Voting Systems is a Canadian company. And Scytl is run out of Spain.

That’s right. Dominion is a foreign-owned company, which makes Dominion-based election theft a “foreign interference issue.”

Scytl, by the way, is connected to George Soros and the Democrats, and according to TGP (see below), “Bill Gates also own stock in Scytl.”

Dominion is Canadian, Scytl is from Spain; both represent “foreign interference” in US elections… with data routed through servers in Germany

Another voting machine company called Scytl — also widely used in US elections — is located in Spain. As Great Game India reports:

In other words, the EO covers every person who has been corrupted or compromised by communist China. And that includes at least 80% of Democrat lawmakers, by our estimates, including Senators Feinstein and Schiff.

This election may not be over yet. Dominion voting systems, which is Canadanian owned, served located in Germany, falls under The Executive Order on Imposing Certain Sanctions in the event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election - signed by Trump in 2018. Trump knew this was going to happen well in advance and the Democrats got sloppy with this election because they believed their fraudulent polls. By stopping the ballot counting, they were exposed and if there are still enough honest people in the CIA, FBI, etc., this could easily overturn the election.

Take a look at the link below, this could be huge:

I’ll take that any day. Raises are as follows. July 1 2017 0.5%; Jan 1 2018, 1 %; Jan 2019, 2%; Jan 20, 2 %; Jan 2021, 1.5 %; Jan 2022, 1.75%. City sees it as a win on over all Pay finally slowing down our increases which they have wanted for years and saving a bundle on the retro payout which they are currently getting interest on. This came From a guy who was at the table.. they have another meeting where they are putting pen to paper at the end of this week. I consider this a MAJOR win for us. Remember, it’s not all about money.

11/16/2020 12:46:00 AM

False. JCat released a statement about this lie. First red flag was there’s no way Lightfoot is giving in on restructuring discipline. Second is, this would be the worst deal in FOP history. The $750 COVID money isn’t worth giving up annual percentages . Dumb

To the poster who mentioned the contract. You stated the city is getting interest on the money they have for the retro. What interest? Have you looked at the Fed interest rates? How about the interest rates for CDs? The one year government took a big jump in the last week or so--.68% to >.78%. 10,000,000 invested in a one year bond now would give the city a whole $7,800 after one year. The variable rates on money markets which you can readily withdraw are less than .10% on average. I have no idea what the city gets on money market type deposits but even if it is .20% they are making 2,000 on the 10,000,000 .

INTEL: US Military Raided Scytl Servers In Germany For Evidence After Vote Switching Scandal.

According to intelligence sources US Military raided voting machine company Scytl servers in Germany for evidence of manipulation in 2020 US Elections after it was exposed in vote switching scandal by GreatGameIndia. Scytl has a long history of election fraud in various nations including injecting backdoors in its election software. The issue has prompted experts to question why the sensitive job of counting votes was outsourced to a foreign company? How could a bankrupted Spanish company Scytl count American votes in Spain?

What exactly are you people expecting, 12%, 14 or better yet 18% over 5 years. The best we could possibly get is 9.5%. We will never be treated on the same level as teachers. An extra 750 a year is a small bonus. Keeping the discipline issue at bay would be a win. Everyone basically wants that 2000-7000 retro check, bottom line.

So check this out....
My significant other works at a hospital and they recently received a “free” box of Covid tests for patients. Knowing nothing is free, my sig other did some digging and found the test kits are from Abbot Labs with an App that the hospital worker is supposed to scan with a positive or negative result. The problem is that all of the persons are negative for Covid correctly test negative...HOWEVER there is a very high false negative...so the test should show the patient was positive but the result showed negative. How did they find this out??? The hospital staff used the free test kits on patients already confirmed to have Covid. This inconsistency was brought up to the state of Illinois who...no bullshit...told the hospital staff to use the test kits on people who are freaking out in fear about getting Covid. In other words, use the test kit that will have a high percentage of showing the person does not have Covid-just to put their mind at ease

Went to 35th/Mich today to drop off a couple of items and swap out my ID for one that says “RETIRED” on it.
Amazing how easy it was and even I was surprised at how I felt no emotion leaving the department after almost 30 years.
It was fun and I always felt as if we were accomplishing something. Now, not so much.

Remember, the department cares about itself first which means the political has priority over citizen or officer safety.
The mayor and the politically appointed gold stars that run the department are 100% responsible for its current state.
So long as they care more about themselves and their successes than the safety of the citizens and officers things will not improve.
This is made evident every day as the department does things that needlessly endanger officers and citizens in the name of politics.
Pushing ineffective training during the COVID19 pandemic just to satisfy the consent decree on paper and at the same time sending inspectors out to write up officers for not following safety guidelines is but one example.

Be safe and be smart about the job. It still is and will always be an important job but it is trickier than ever.

People keep commenting that this is a story for the news. Get over it. The fact is that the MSM does not care. You, the police are the sworn enemy of almost all MSM, we are garbage to the news, until they need some “feel good piece” to fill a slot. My neighbor is a cameraman for local news. I’m always friendly etc. He covers all these shootings etc but still has drank the koolaid. Throughout the pandemic he’s fawned over Pritzker & LL handling of Covid & telling off Trump. Today, I saw him, asked how he was doing...blah blah. He mentioned not wanting to get Covid, so I mentioned the big uptick at work. His answer “Doesn’t surprise me, I see cops all the time downtown without masks (I’ll add that until very recently I rarely saw him wearing a mask). I then answered, “It probably has more to do with cancelling days off, stuffing officers on buses & resumed training.” He just shrugged it off. He then said how much he wanted the vaccination because of his health concerns...he’s in his 60’s. I said well one of Biden’s Covid task force doctors, Zeke Emmanuel (he had know idea who that was) believes in sharing the vaccine globally before widespread vaccination here. He’s also not for vaccinations for elderly.” He said “well, I’ve never seen that in the MSM...when it’s in the NYTimes I’ll believe it.” Oh and I’ll add that he visits Wisconsin regularly, almost every weekend to his weekend home. Never seen him quarantine yet. Another Democrat hypocrite.

Quarantine definition
Quarantine separates and restricts the movement of people who were exposed to a contagious disease to see if they become sick. These people may have been exposed to a disease and do not know it, or they may have the disease but do not show symptoms.

Isolation definition
noun. an act or instance of isolating. the state of being isolated. the complete separation from others of a person suffering from contagious or infectious disease; quarantine. the separation of a nation from other nations by isolationism.

Even though its already against the General Orders to leave the house on sick leave, you shouldn't be leaving the house anyways. You are getting PAID with other peoples money to stay home.

So stay home social butterfly.

It's good to see that this election had some ole fashioned wiseguys in on the fraud. To the men and women of CPD, sworn and civilian, about the Medical Section clusterfuck:
CYA....Document the date, time, who you talked to, what they said, etc.
1) Each time you tried to call Medical.
2) What happened (no answer, busy signal 2 minutes, voicemail)
3) If you get through, who you talked to, what they said.
4) If you can FAX in a letter requesting whatever you need, keep the original and the send/sent information with the date/time/number faxed to.
5) If you can Email in a letter requesting whatever you need, keep the sent email.
6) Same goes for notifying your Chain of Command of your status; make sure they know you're trying to reach Medical.
Protect yourself from the inevitable "failure to provide information/failure to cooperate" type complaints when the Medical mess blows up on some white shirt's desk.
Stay safe!

May I ask, how do they take your gun, when it was not issued but you paid for it. I can see them taking the star but not the gun. Who exactly took the star, and what reason was given? Seems odd, especially if you had the star and gun all along. I cannot tell from the post if that is the case. Is this pending further medical or psychological evaluation? I am very very sorry for your loss. But what are an officer's s options in this case? Contact FOP? Hire an independent doctor or psychologist? I hope it works out for you.

They take the star, shield and ID. Without those you can’t carry a gun. Don’t think the poster meant they physically take your gun. It’s like being stripped. Poster said he was given a direct order to take a psychological test and while he’s doing this he states he’s on forced medical so he is being paid. You go to the city’s psychiatrist
