Downtown is done for good. Take a look by the high end stores and see who is shopping there. They are all armed with multiple firearms and there will be a rival gang shoot out that takes place in one of these stores any day now. Dont worry, Kimmy denied felony charges on the guy from the traffic stop who already had an armed habitual and numerous uuw convictions.

What do you expect with Groot and Fox at the helm. Downtown hotels selling rooms at 70 bucks a night to the animals has turned downtown high end hotels into mini housing projects. Domestics , BIP’s, and Shots fired just about every night. The weekend is even worse. People are fleeing downtown condos , and businesses aren’t planning on re-opening . All the money they poured into making downtown a destination for tourism just went up in flames. With multiple high end stores not returning to the mag mile and the policies of groot downtown will be a ghetto destination for a long time.

I remember years ago the Charlie Club opened on Michigan Ave. Full hotel, health club and fantastic 4 story atrium bar with huge picture windows that face the lake. We go there for Venetian Night and the fireworks are exploding right outside those windows. So cool we go back a few weeks later. Now the lobby has velvet theater ropes to contain us, and you have to get in line to get on the elevator. The elevator now had an operator. You get up stairs and the host now has a broken arm. He seats us right away even tho the joint is packed, mainly because if you are sitting at a table you have some expectation of ordering something. The stairways are covered with people standing around on them. I see as many half dogs as I do drinks, and the cocktail waitresses are all standing near the brokened arm guy chatting. Security guard on every floor. Never went back. No one else did either. The place was ruined a month after they opened. This was the pager years and it happened in a flash. They can do this in an hour now.

If you have to take a train and/or bus, they preclude concealed carriers from carrying in those locations, where you are locked in a box with armed animals and left defenseless. I think you missed SCC and the commenters point. The point was what a shit hole downtown is becoming. That downtown is reverting back to what it was on the 90’s, you don’t go down there after dark as it’s infested with gangs and violence. I believe that was the point, not that someone somewhere in this large city made a traffic stop. We get what you’re saying, fetal, got it, understood. I read that some Portland Oregon cops were also federally deputized. When they catch ANTIFA attacking them and find they are felons, they arrest them on federal charges. In fact they were running up to car windows, banging on them and making small children hysterical with fear. There were maybe 50 or so disrupting everything and another 50 tagging along and taking selfies, etc.
Well I was on the corner and a Chinese gentleman came up to me and asked what was going on. He said he actually lived in China and spoke heavy broken English. I said they were protesting something but who really knew. I asked him what would happen if this happened in China. He said, and I am not kidding, "oh they would put them in a truck and you would never see them again".
